Hey Bailey! I’m a freshman in high school and I just wanted to say I’ve been watching you for 2 years and you really inspired me to want to be a teacher. I’m taking a class for teaching and I’m so excited the class is so fun!

Wow, I never thought about a big school with many teachers who can spread out the tasks more. It really makes sense. However, with the current teacher shortage I feel like big school with many students and less teachers can be A LOT stress, too. I guess, I am glad that you are happy at your school. It really makes a difference.

21 years ago, I also took the alternate certification route in NC. Now I have my MSA and still teaching high school SPED. I plan to move into admin (maybe) after my son graduates! 😢

I´ve just spent the past two hours watching several astronaut videos and they are very intriguing! I think my 3rd graders will love these! We have learned about gravity so seeing how astronauts deal with not having gravity will be cool for them to watch. Of course their favorites will probably be the personal hygiene videos and the food videos.

Great video! Regarding dismissal procedures, I like asking the students, “What are three things we learned today?” Because I know the first thing a parent is going to ask when the kid hops into the car is, “What did you do at school today?” Free classroom publicity! 😆

I've taught 3rd-5th before (I now teach first grade), and all three of those grades are special in their own way :) When they're your students, you fall for them anyway

Yay! Thank you for answering my question about balancing everything that you do 🤗 You totally answered it lol. I’m new to UA-cam this year and loving it but finding balancing it all can be tricky at times! Loved hearing your insight. Appreciate you!

I’d love to see a video about alt certification! I’m not an education major but I’m really considering becoming a teacher.
