The "Tridge Effect" Sneak Peek - How to Prioritize Online Marketing (for Local Small Businesses)

  • I love good analogy, and this one is very helpful in explaining how to think about and prioritize online marketing to local small business owners. This Tridge is one of just a handful in the world, and it's located right here in my hometown, Midland Michigan.
    A tridge has 3 bridges that connect in the middle. Imagine your business address is right in the middle of the tridge. Now imagine your tridge is so inviting that you have crowds of customers coming over each of it's 3 bridges. And, each bridge brings unique customers from entirely different places and experiences to your business, there is:
    1 - the "Social" bridge
    2 - the "Search" bridge, and
    3 - the "Paid" bridge.
    It's to your advantage to optimize each bridge, yet it can't be done overnight so it's important to prioritize on an ongoing basis.
