Hi! My name is Suzanne Rielle and I help local small businesses focus their online marketing on what matters most: Consistently outperforming their competition online.
The truth is, you don't need a lot of gimmicks or technical know-how. You only need to know what to do that attracts new customers to YOUR business over that of your competition - nothing more, nothing less.
I teach businesses how to dial in their resources on the highest priorities considering their unique location, competition, budget, resources, skills, and business goals.

The "Tridge Effect" Sneak Peek - How to Prioritize Online Marketing (for Local Small Businesses)
I love good analogy, and this one is very helpful in explaining how to think about and prioritize online marketing to local small business owners. This Tridge is one of just a handful in the world, and it's located right here in my hometown, Midland Michigan.
A tridge has 3 bridges that connect in the middle. Imagine your business address is right in the middle of the tridge. Now imagine your tridge is so inviting that you have crowds of customers coming over each of it's 3 bridges. And, each bridge brings unique customers from entirely different places and experiences to your business, there is:
1 - the "Social" bridge
2 - the "Search" bridge, and
3 - the "Paid" bridge.
It's to your advantage to optimize each bridge, yet it can't be done overnight so it's important to prioritize on an ongoing basis.
What is central to success in optimizing each bridge is your business website. I gave a live, free training "Are Websites Dead?" on my Facebook page that answers that question in terms of the Tridge Effect and how your website influences the effectiveness of each bridge.

8 Lessons Learned: LearnDash and MemberPress Integration
Переглядів 10 тис.6 років тому
Questions about how to integrate LearnDash and MemberPress together? I hear ya! The reason for this video is due to the fact I couldn't find answers to my own questions when implementing and integrating the two together. Instead, I had to configure, test, re-configure, re-test until I found the combination of settings and components to make it "work". My key lessons learned that I hope help you...
Hi, in my case, I have 2 main memberships, basic, pro. the basic can see only free courses, the pro can see everything. How can I manage this with LearnDash and MemberPress ? I did some rules but it does not work.
Amazing !!
I have uncanny toolkit pro and I am debating if I should get memberpress, buddypress etc for setting up a customer registration and login page which I would require conditional logic and landing page. Please share your experiences I am actually having trouble understanding uncanny toolkit's login process. Any more info would be appreciated
The reason I got Memberpress with LearnDash was so I could set up different curriculums. I needed to be able to assign courses to different job roles. Some courses applied to all roles, and some to just one or a couple. I made each job role a different membership in Memberpress and was then able to assign applicable LearnDash courses as needed. Everyone logs on via Memberpress. I did not have to upgrade to Uncanny Pro to do this, but found some of their free plugins useful. Does this help?
Great tips and walkthrough, thanks. It's hard to find LearnDash examples for corporate environments, your walkthrough hit many of the points I have been ruminating on lately.
You're Welcome, Philip! I'm glad it was helpful! If you're stuck, let me know.
Hi Philip, good luck! I've done two relatively large LearnDash implementations now. If you need help envisioning how to make work, I'd be glad to set up a call.
Very helpful tips! These are great programs but integrating them requires some experience as to what works. Thanks for passing on your experience.
You're welcome Ron! I'd be happy to set up a call if you're stuck.
Excellent video, feedback and sharing on lessons learned with these 2 systems. Thank you.
You're welcome! Let me know if there's anything I can do to help :)
Thank you very much. It helped a lot. Just one question: How do you enroll students to certain curriculum with certain documentation requirement and certain points?
That's the easy part! Just allow them to purchase (or assign them if there is no charge) to the appropriate Membership. In the background, all of your LearnDash courses and documentation can be aligned with one or more Membership.
about the naming of elements with this numbere classif: it seems perfect within an organization but for selling courses, titles should be more attractive. Numbering is useful for admin not for clients. So you showed the best solution for your system but I ask myself the qsuestion: isn’t it possible to use tags or categories to sort courses, lessons, etc .. this way?
Totally agreed with you. Numbering courses will display that on course grid on the front end and that will look absurd and unattractive to buyers if courses are for sell. Altogether great video
Azur Integrated :maybe inadequate would be a better word than absurd. :-)
Wonderful feedback, generous and useful! Thanks
Thanks so much! If I can be of any assistance, let me know :)
Hi, Why would you have to lockdown Learndash courses with MemberPress? Doesn't Learndash already lockdown your courses?
This video is awesome! Thank you so much for sharing 🙌🏼💙✨
Thanks Debora! You're welcome :) Let me know if I can help you out in any way.
Extremely helpful video. Thank you so much!
Very helpful. Thanks!

You're welcome Rod! Let me know if I can be of any help.
So helpful. Thanks so much!
You're welcome Peter! I'm considering doing another video, so please let me know if there are any topics you might like to see me cover. :)
I hired Suzanne yesterday to help me get through some real sticking points. She is a wonderful teacher and has a great knowledge of Memberpress and Learndash! Also her tip on using sheets has made all the difference in how i look at my courses now. It was a jumbled mess before and now i can find the files right away. I will hire her again whenever i get stuck or confused. Thanks Suzanne!
Mark - Thank you so much! It was my pleasure. I'm really happy I could help you get unstuck with your LearnDash/Memberpress setup and your overall approach to converting and managing your courses. I hope you are doing well and making some excellent progress now!
thanks :) yuor course numbering for 2nd course should be 1.2.1,1.2.2 not 1.1.1,1.1.2 :)
Hi -thanks -- Just in case anyone is reading this and wondering, the method I recommend is: First Digit = Course Number | Second Digit = Lesson Number | Third Digit = Topic Number.
Really Be Online yes that is understandable..but the sequence was incorrect in the video as others also pointed out.. Just that🤗
Hi, this video is very informative, I Bought the Education Center Theme, will it work on the theme well? I am very new to Wordpress, i am trying to start a online course website, i am so confused which theme to choose and LMS plugins to use.. please help me to get one, how about the WPLMS theme?
LearnDash will function ok on Education Center. Be careful with the duplicate functionality in Education Centre. I mention this in the video. It tripped me up at first, until I finally realized there were overlapping features in the theme and LearnDash. So, make sure you are setting everything up in LearnDash -- just ignore the Education Center "lesson" stuff.
This is extremely helpful. Thank you for sharing your hard-learned lessons!
You're welcome! Let me know if you have any unanswered questions. I have learned more since making this video, so might do another one.
Great insights. I rebuilt your spreadsheet because that was a realy good idea. You saved me a ton of time!
Oh my gosh!! That's awesome to hear! :)
Thanks for this.. If you have not done either yet. For us what would be the point of integration or would there be? If I install Learndash.. does their membership section have enough in it where I will not need Memberpress? or is it best to have both?
I find that it depends on how complex your course structure and memberships need to be. LearnDash has minimal membership functionality, so if you are implementing something straightforward with a single membership, you could start with just LearnDash and see if it meets your needs. LearnDash comes right out and says their memberhsip functionality is minimal, which is why they have invested in integrations with multiple Membership platforms, e.g. Memberpress, Memberium, and Paid Memberships Pro.
This was very helpful. Thank You
You're welcome! Let me know if you have any unanswered questions. I have learned more since making this video, so might do another one.
Thank you for this tutorial!! Did you notice when numbering courses Learndash puts 10 after 1? (e.g. 1, 10, 2, 3, 4 )
Hi! I have not seen that, but I'll watch for it. Very strange -- Thanks for heads up!
Good Video with very useful information. Thank you. Could you please help me how to redirect to my buddypress profile page thru learndash
I have not tried that myself, but have you checked out this plugin that integrates Buddypress and LearnDash? www.learndash.com/add-on/buddypress/
Hello, I really appreciate your tutorial. I'm curious to know if you're willing to share your slide deck?
Very helpful, thank you.
You're welcome! :)
You're welcome. Do you still have questions? I might record a follow-up video.
Really interesting! Do you know if With memberpress I can send an email With a link to a concrete lecture and when the student log on he land on the lecture (link) or always land on the same page (home page...). I need that feature because I wanna concha my students by mail and pass them a link With a new lesson every day.
Oh yes, you can link any pages on your website with a specific Membership in MemberPress. So, if you put your lectures up in a blog format, for example, you could give your members (or students), access to the blog only if they are logged in.
That was great! Thanks. It would be great if you could do some more vids on memberpress/learndash their aren’t that many out there. Also you should check out the astra theme it has built in learndash integration. Thanks again.
I will check out Astra, thank you for the recommendation! ... and the vote of confidence on my teaching :)
Hello! I will check out Astra - thanks! I am considering another video in this topic area. Do you have any input for me on questions you would like to see answered? I would appreciate the input - thanks!
It seems to me that LearnDash has multiple membership plugins (memberpress, paidmembershippro etc). Is there a preferred plugin combination for the case in where I will begin by offering one course for sale (one time fee), in addition to a membership/subscription area where I add a new educational video (not neccessarily a formal "course", but valuable, educational content) weekly ? As I mentioned, I only want to start by offering one formal course Im currently producing for a one time fee. In addition to that, i'd like to have a membership area of my site where all the shorter, less formal educational videos are available and a new one added weekly. Thank you for your time
I would definitely stick with a membership plugin that LearnDash is supporting on it's "Add-Ons" page. Although my only direct integration experience is with Memberpress, I'm assuming LearnDash has approached the other integrations in a very similar way. LearnDash itself actually has the capability to drip content, so I think could be great for you because you no matter when a person signs up for your course, you can drip the new videos to them weekly.
Hi, sorry for the delayed response! I hope you have figured this out. If not, you would host your course in LearnDash and set up your Membership in MemberPress. That membership can also access other private content areas on your site - by page.
@Mr. Master Key This can be done - yes. It's exactly how I set things up for my client in the video. The trick is to set your course type to "Closed" in LearnDash. Then you can assign the course to Memberships in Memberpress so users have to be logged in to access and only users with the assigned Memberships can view. If you set the course to "Open" - everyone can see it. If you set up as "Free" - I found that everyone logged into any Membership could see it (the integration seemed like it might be a little glitchy), but once I set it to "Closed" it worked as expected.
Thank you so much. Got a better insight . Great work
Thanks! You're welcome! :)
You're welcome. Do you have any unanswered questions?
Thank you for this. Very helpful.
You're welcome Khaled. I'll try to post updates as/if I learn more about it.
