Randy Castillo was badass on the drums and saw him three times with Ozzy Osbourne, in 1986, 1988, and in 1992... RIP Randy Castillo
Yeah, Randy was something \m/ Never got to see him "in person", sadly
The best live I saw him was in 1986 on Ozzy's The Ultimate Sin tour. Which by the way Metallica was the opening act, with Cliff Burton. It was about month or two before Cliff sadly died....
He was the absolutely greatest Drummer !!! R.I.P. Randy !
He had and amazing talent and drum kit
Rip R c
RIP RC
Seen Ozzy 5times and Randy never disappointed he played every part of his kit stands drum rim he was a very gifted keeper of time
He was a beast.
RIP, Randy Castillo... the Hard Rock & Heavy Metal Secret Weapon.
What an amazing drummer, I just watched in aw, thank you randy
Love you Randy from a fellow Native American/Mexican
I love what Mike Inez said about RC: "He played drums the way his Apache ancestors rode horses"
@@krissisu1111 Yes!!
Wow man
I bet his drumming away up there
R.I.P ☝
Something to dwell on. These were Tama Granstar Customs I believe. Notice the color scheme? Mind you, this was in 1988. Who did the same thing 3 years later with a Tama Artstar Custom? Hint- he is from Denmark.
Lars Ulrich would be the answer to your question.
Also drummer of Queensryche, Frankie Banali from Quiet Riot and Pat Torpey had the same kind of piano white Tamas, but I believe they were Artstars II
Lars had the white Tama in 88 justice for all tour
Lars for the Damaged Justice tour in 88-89
@@Mjrella78 no he didn't. His kit on the and justice tour was gun metal grey
Best drummer ever
Rip my friend from high school west Mesa ❤❤❤
Great drummer taken too soon. 🤘🤘
I recorded this show during it's live feed on my satellite dish before everyone had one in 89 along with the Moscow Music Peace fest in August. Bullet Boys opened.
I ordered both shows via pay per view and recorded them as well!
The Best Drummer of ALL TIME ❤❤❤❤❤❤
😮❤❤
It would help if the sound was syched to the video - that's kind of important when one is studying drummers!
Só vim para ler os comentários dos especialistas em bateria que não tocam bateria kkkkkkkk
😂😂😂
How does he reach that 1st tom?
It's only used when he stands up for the solo never during a song
How was this at the Tower Theater when in 1989 Ozzy played at The Spectrum in Philadelphia?
Tantos tambores para pasársela tocando solo la tarola!....
Nice but noisy?
i dunno what you mean...
Don't you wish you could make noise like that .Why be a hater ? Jealousy is ugly.
Yes. …..it’s very. Very noisy. He’s not doing anything special whatsoever. But. He was a great fit for Izzy. Not a solo drummer at all.
YES !! Very noisy
@@savedforever1 Have you seen that? What you mean by he doesn't do anything special 😂
Definitely no Tommy Aldridge
Yeah, better
Well durrr did you know water is wet as well?
bfd Single strokes top and bottom. No dynamics. No real hands like Piace or Palmer.
I don't see any videos on your page showing us your incredible better than Randy drumming. Who have you played for or are you just a keyboard cowboy?
@@jvsmeds THe only impressive thing about heavy hard rock or metal drumming is the endurance part of the physical event. If you want to see "hands that have studied you better start looking at jazz guys primarily. There have been a few great hands in arena rock. A few... MItch Mitchell... Ian Paice. Carl Palmer..John Bonham and B J Wison. The alkie that dies too young from Procol Harum had a jazz and symphonic backbone in him. .Very few have studied and mastered rudiments. This drummer hasn't . He is a single stroke righthand dominant like most of them. He has no touch in dynamics either. And fuck a drum set that size in the butt with no grease...Talk about poser??? LOL Tommy Aldrich is the best at this kind of arena rock.
Its called rock drumming!. The dynamics are there its just everything is 10x louder 😂. Get where your coming from but it doesn't always need to be technical
Also long live the almighty Ian Paice!!! Him, Bonham and Mitchell are my personal heros
@@drummersinger5324i completely agree and disagree on this comment 😂 like i said on the original post...drumming doesn't always have to be the most advanced playing you've ever heard, there is a time & place for everything! But over playing is one of the biggest problems drummers face, sometimes a good solid single stroke groove is all you need & it will add more to the song than all the rudiments you could ever dream of 😂😂 and..ENDURANCE! that isn't something too be taken lightly no matter the style of music
vulgar rock drumer....
