After using the Salamangreat Deck for a bit, I decided to try this one out and I fell in love with it, you're right, it's SO good! I'm working on getting the Updated Version; lot's of fun!
In the live duel, you can actually FTK with 2 starving venoms, 1 lyrilusc independent, and 1 predaplant verte in the extra deck (requires 1 instant fusion in the main deck) since you were able to pull off 5 pendulums and 1 electrumite in the board. Pretty good explanation!
I just started the game yesterday and I wanted to try out the newer stuff (mainly pendulum summoning) so when I watched tutorials that kept saying the pendulum structure deck is op you best believe I got 3 at the start. I haven’t really built it (just added multiples of cards + Raigeki and Monster Reborn) but one card I personally think is a must have is a trap card that comes in the structure deck called Pendulum something (I forgot half the name). It basically allows you to special summon a monster from the P scale 1 time every turn which I think is OP especially since I kept summoning powerful monsters like Odd Eyes with it 😂
I'm new to the game and was looking for some beginner decks to start with. Just happen to see your video and it was really helpful. I hope you can do a tutorial for Beyond pendulum as well.
You definitely gave me an idea on how to play Pendulums and how to use cards very well in the deck. Speaking of I am using 3x of this Structure deck, is there anything you can recommend when building x3 Magician Pedulum?
Hey Kushi. Returning player here, trying to get used to the slew of new mechanics and came here for a cheap effective deck to start with. Couldn't understand why the Pendulum Monsters removed from the field kept going face-up into the Extra Deck. Was reading every card description, looking high and low for some sort of passive effect until I finally looked up the ruling in the wiki. Not a complaint, just telling my experience.
I completely agree, yeah the pendulums aren't explained at all in the game instead Konomi just hopes you know how they work. They have a bit of special interaction, non-pendulum monsters go to the grave. But pendulums go to the extra, they can also be played as a spell/pendulum zone.
I would say you can, running three increases consistency. So you have a higher chance of ending you board with the trap that can remove opponents cards. Other then that you can still get away with 1. I tend to run 2 but I haven't played to many games to test 3.
So there has been a couple banlist which changed the number of cards you run in the maindeck. but besides that yeah its a solid deck. I reached plat 1 with it a while back. But in the current meta, Spright/runick i am not sure. best combo i think is omni negate and 3 monster negates. but with beyond the pendulum now in the game you can do a bit more! Also in the description is a link to a newer version

Yeah maxx is a very good card in almost all decks, just cause it applies pressure for the opponent to not give you free cards. And used well it essentially replaces it's self with +1 draw while still applying pressure.

I ended up throwing the three maxx's in there, subbed tuning magician for ash blossom, kept monster reborn and put in all of the optional upgrades you mentioned, hopefully that takes me places as I continue to learn. I still think this pendulum structure deck x3 with a little upgrades is very good, but you need a good extra deck. I personally very got into Endymion, so I am not sure of there combos.
Great vid I always thought that pendulum decks were cool But also can't blame the guy for surrendering cause while its fun to be the one in the driver's seat of al this having to watch is pretty boring

I think one of my latest videos about the Deck added a lvl 10 synchro who is extremely easy to make in the deck. I usually make the synchro when I activate pendulum call. Since the link 2 Heavymetalfoes can't pop my own scales under pendulum call.
First time I try using this deck I go against somebody who did the exact same thing as you. The likelihood is insanely low 😭 that they watched this video AND go against me first time
@@KushiKush They had some other cards too that had made it pretty much impossible to do anything too so it was an L but other than that round, the deck you made worked great (I even added Baronne De Fleur since some of the pen monsters are tuners)
Thanks, your explanation is great. . I want to combine structure deck with my Metalfoes deck. I just want to know what "best" cards from this structure and the basic of this arctype. So, I can modify it to become more suitable for my Metalfoes. . With my cheapest Metalfoes deck, I can get Odd-eyes fusion and Anaconda/DPE, or if have better hand, I can get Odd-eyes fusion + Apollousa. I think these structure cards will make this deck better.

It's okay till plat, right now as of writing this comment. The yugioh master duel meta is just tearlaments and anti meta. It's a very one sided meta, so you can do well with this deck but it's not as good as it was, just cause tearlaments is the very best.
Question i was thinking of building this 1. How well does this hold up in strength wise in today's format and 2. If i built this what would be the next step to upgrade it?
Well the main thing I can say against today's meta is the amount of hand traps people are running namely Monster effect negates and niberu. So I would say that It could work if you can figure out a way to play around those things, apollusa is still good and a common end board. 2. You would want to flesh out the extra deck, spright elf has been the best new card in the extra, along with the other pendulum link two that searches the extra forgot her name.
is there another way i can bring back electrumite? and whats the significance of her? I'm new but I tried my first game and it was really good. i tried to follow some of your steps in the live commentary, copying your moves a little. hopefully you see this!
I did see this, Spright Elf is a link two that can be made using a lvl/rank/link 2, that special summons 2* monsters from your graveyard durning either players turn. Spright elf is used in modern Pendulum magician decks to bring back electrumite. I may plan to do an updated version, thank you for the comment! I recommend watching other youtubers guides on pendulum magicians and aeeing how they do their combos aswell.
Promethean Princess, very strong generic link 3 monster that can bring Electrumite, but you have to get rid of her as soon as you get Electrumite back because she allows you to summon only fire monsters.

The deck works around the pendulum mechanic in yugioh. Where if you activate two monsters in you hand with the number, one with 8 on one side and 2 on the other. You can summon monsters from your hand or extra deck for free.
Can we get an updated starter build? There's a new Ritual Pendulum monster that comes up when searching 'pendulumgraph'. Double Iris Magician is off the ban list too.
Does anyone else have any tips on how to properly use this? I keep fumbling and making stupid mistakes and I’m constantly losing. Is the deck just not good anymore because it’s been a year?
It is a bit hard to use, since its alot of reading and remembering. But I am sure once you get the basic combo down, have 2 pendulum scales and pendulum then go into electromite, you should be able to test and create plays. Besides that the deck is fine, if you have an apollusa in the extra you can end on that, which is good against the current meta.
I got the pendulum structure deck and, looking back on it, I would have rather spent my gems on building bird up and crusadia. Crusadia is really cheap anyways, make the deck, craft a Magius, spend some gems, and otk a bunch
Celestial is very good. At 1 copy it helps the deck by being an additional Performapal Sorcerer target. Black fang is another magician target, but honestly I would just run another venom magician if you want more magicians. And chronograph is cool, but for him to be good you need to run the lvl 3 pendulum to have a special summon target. And even though he can special himself, he is a lvl 6. And Astrograph is just a better target.
If you have the ultra rare points, I would put in 1st an Apollousa. She is a monster negate with arrows pointing down. After her, having a boss monster wouldn't be bad, like Borrelsword/Borreload Dragon. There are other rare and common options out there as well. I have some options in my best common/rare videos. But the more you are willing to invest into the extra deck the better the deck will be.
@@KushiKush I really like the deck but I cant find Appollousa, is the card forbidden or something? Do you have any other options that are especially good in this decks extra deck? Ive built it exactly like you did with the link monsters from the link deck you left out as well. I dont really get when to use the link monsters with no effect, so I always just play Odd-Eyes
@@leno4673 apollousa is an UR Link 4. She is a girl with a bow with 0 attack. For me in Pendulums I always try to go into Heavymetalfoes electrumite. This card can destroy one of your scales and add you a pendulum from you extra deck, which will usually always be astrograph magician. For me the extra deck is about utility, if you go first you try to get out the odd-eyee fusion and apollousa. This is a spell/trap/monster negate. If you go second you just try to get as much advantage as possible to have more options then your opponent. So cards that add you other cards are good. And use your extra deck to get rid of cards your opinent has set up. If you want specific cards to use, check out my previous pendulum videos, I put the deck list in the description. Along with an explanation why they are in the deck, and an explanation in game.

For this pendulum deck? I would say electromite is the most important link. Appollosa is a good link too, and baronne de fleur the synchro 10 is a good boss
Thanks I got all of them already thanks to your videos and they all synchronize really well. I’m trying to transfer most of the extra deck to a dark magician build any tips? I usually try to link 3 link monsters before summoning access code and taking apalosa attack at 6300 . Every time I manage to pull this off I automatically win.
@@KushiKush ok, do you know what the purpose of the traffic ghost is because it doesn't do anything and the strength isn't very high. Also what guys for extra deck beyond that do you recommend
also i think u should make a new version of this video with recent updates taken into account bc im not sure if this deck witht he specific additions u made is still as strong as it could be (and u didnt review any replays like u were going to)
My opinion is, the Pendulum Deck has the most room for improvement, you can upgrade the extradeck ALOT, and the cards you craft for the extra deck are good in othere decks. While the dragonmaid and spellbook are pretty much good on their own, both are powereful and only need few crafts to make workable. BUT you can run different engines into both the spellbook (magicians souls/sky striker/dogmatika) and the dragon maid (rokket/dragonlink). Hope this helps
The version is still good. I have made updated versions on my channel, the only difference is the new banlist added more pendulum cards, and a new synchro 10 barrone de fleur

@@rahul-rt7yz I do have some pendulum combos on the channel. But I don't have any cypher dragon combos, my advice is to use cards that are level 8 and can special summon themselves to the field. I know galaxy-eyes work well with cypther
I would say galaxy eyes is the best cheapest structrure deck, this one is still good but requries UR and SR crafts for good upgrades galaxy eyes is pretty much complete out of the box.

I don't think I ever used halq, so yes the deck still works well. Also with the addition of Beyond the Pendulum we got another good link 2

For this pendulum deck? I would say electromite is the most important link. Appollosa is a good link too, and baronne de fleur the synchro 10 is a good boss
Thanks I got all of them already thanks to your videos and they all synchronize really well. I’m trying to transfer most of the extra deck to a dark magician build any tips? I usually try to link 3 link monsters before summoning access code and taking apalosa attack at 6300 . Every time I manage to pull this off I automatically win.
the crafting resources are so expensive tho to build this stuff how do i build it if im new??? i only have the 3 structure decks past that i get lost
Just build the budget no SR or UR crafts, it will work I guess but you will be missing a strong combo with no heavymetalfoes electrumit

also i think u should make a new version of this video with recent updates taken into account bc im not sure if this deck witht he specific additions u made is still as strong as it could be (and u didnt review any replays like u were going to)

Yeah it does, black fang is a good target, and white enables ez synchro's. Additional copies of purple are always good cause he has a good eff

Is this better than dragonmaid and spellbook structure deck???
My opinion is, the Pendulum Deck has the most room for improvement, you can upgrade the extradeck ALOT, and the cards you craft for the extra deck are good in othere decks. While the dragonmaid and spellbook are pretty much good on their own, both are powereful and only need few crafts to make workable. BUT you can run different engines into both the spellbook (magicians souls/sky striker/dogmatika) and the dragon maid (rokket/dragonlink).

The version is still good. I have made updated versions on my channel, the only difference is the new banlist added more pendulum cards, and a new synchro 10 barrone de fleur

@@rahul-rt7yz I do have some pendulum combos on the channel. But I don't have any cypher dragon combos, my advice is to use cards that are level 8 and can special summon themselves to the field.

I would say galaxy eyes is the best cheapest structrure deck, this one is still good but requries UR and SR crafts for good upgrades
