I've made this approach maybe 100 times in a Lear 60 with its 152 kt approach speed and super tiny wheels and brakes. Fun for everyone, every time! Plane was. a runway HOG!
Yep. Planes lay down tons of rubber on runways each year. There are actually special vehicles that are used to remove the rubber. At a busy airport, they might do removals a few times each year.
Nice landing Captain. I'd fly with you anytime!!
That would be great!
Wow that was really neat - The houses look so close to the runway....
Because they are!
Yes! They are!
Yes!
I knew it was Midway. Each side of the airport is one mile long.
I'm not much into aviation but are the runways supposed to be this short? The A320 almost reached the end of the runway
Yea mid way has 4 short runway 😂 5 if you count the skinny one
More than long enough. And the ATC probably told him to exit at that point.
Compared to other airports, Midway has short runways!
Ahh I see. Thanks for letting me know@@frontrow8096
Honestly took me a minute to figure out if this was real or MS Flight Simulator. Won’t be long until you can’t even tell anymore.
FS is incredible!
So much butter

That's a lot of rubber on the runway

they look out the front windows?
No, only the side windows
Of course!
Most of the time they sit backwards and look at each other.
