This is my first UA-cam video of yours and I have to say I adore the timestamps and polish names in your description box. I’m someone who has relatively severe inattentive ADHD and likes to follow along with product lists in description boxes because I can actually digest the content of the video, lol
Welcome, my fellow ADHD-er! You can absolutely thank commenters like you for helping me get my act together with the timestamps and description! Because of my ADHD I tend to live by the rule "done is better than perfect" so I didn't always do that! But now you're inspiring me to go back and make sure all the videos have it 🤣
You can see the streaks in your photo of New Moon but it looks great with glossy top coat.
Black polish is so much better than it used to be, but I also used the cheapest of the cheap in HS and expected everything to be one coat so... My worst was New York Color and whatever I got from Hot Topic in a skull shaped bottle.

Thank you so much! I'm so not surprised Color Club has a great black creme, they have such good formulas, but I have to go so out of my way to get them! Nowhere I shop regularly carries them, but next time I place an order I'll be adding the black!
I have the Sally Hensen complete manicure black and I find it's to streaky. I really like the Revelon HD Snap polishes (I believe they are advertised as 1 coat) so I'm planning on getting the black soon. I want to try this more affordable polish before I venture into HT or MC for example.

Essie has definitely stepped up their game in the last few years and their cremes are now some of my favorites.

I own 2 black cremes: HT one coat black and essie Gel Couture like it loud. They are both one coat and I use them interchangeably and don't feel the need for another black creme.
I was a little surprised that you don't own mooncat emo for life since you usually love their cremes 😅
I have Liquid Leather! And i just bought a purples set from Mooncat that included Emo For Life. Haven't used nor swatched it yet. I use more greys as a base color, i think the reason is i hate cleanup with black. Great video.

Oh my, I can’t believe I don’t have a MT or a Finger Paint black polish . I have and OPI, CG and the Orly. I’ll have to search for a MT one at least. I just don’t really believe in 1 coasters because I just never do a one coat on my nails. I usually do 2 to 3 coats just about on every polish for the look and feel of the nails…plumpness look on the nails. ❤️ love your series Step! Thank you ☺️

I use the cheap Insta-Dri one as a dark base for swatching my toppers.
Second best use for a black creme after art, IMHO xD
Omfg I NEED fallen angel. I didn't know a black UV reactive polish existed 😻 but also fuck cuccio's black. Its called LA nights or something, it's at least a 3 coat black and i hate it lol.

I just picked up Liquid Vinyl from T.J. Maxx for $5! And I had no idea there was a black from the Breathable line. 💕
So, funnily enough there's two! They made one with Chef Kwame Onwuachi and I was so excited because I thought it must be a one coat black, but then I realized it was still two coats and they just branded it with his name xD
Also, score on the Liquid Vinyl! You brought it down to $0.28/ml!

Great video! I didn't realize that Sally Hansen's were only 9 mL (I think they are taller than the other polishes in my collection). No wonder I get a fill line after 1 to 2 manicures. Thanks for sharing your favs and the prices. I added a few to my list.
Thank you so much!! I was SHOCKED when I realized that bottle was 9ml. It's the smallest bottle I know of that's not a mini. I decided to add the prices to this video because the formulas were all so good that there isn't much else to compare 🤣 Glad you liked it!
I'm a super messy painter so an easier cleanup is key for me.
Hated Starrily's VantaBlack the most for that reason. Ended up using it for stamping only, which it was also mediocre at.

Cirque definitely has that "it" Factor. I've been meaning to watch that video, and I'm SHOCKED there's no Cirque in it! I can think of like three great wedding polishes off the top of my head! Not to mention, I wore Wild Berry West two years ago when my hubs and I renewed our vows (but we're both pink Lovers xD)
Orly won’t ship to Hawaii. 😑 But I can order from HBBeautyBar and they have ORLY regular and breathable for $9.50!!! And a low free shipping requirement. Also, thanks for doing the price per ml. I only recently started doing that comparison because it really is the most equal way to compare and you are so right about the high price/ml AND that stupid bottle that tips and does not line up in a neat row in a drawer.
My drugstore drawer is absolutely flopping with stupid Sally Hansen and LA Colors bottles xD it doesn't seem important when you're a normie with like 25 polishes in a shoebox, but is weirdos deserve more stable bottles.

HoloTaco one coat black is my GOAT. tho I will say I don't think it was reformulated? I cant find anything when I google search in the dictionary for its reformulation. I know in one of the top sellers vids she said "og Never changed" and Not milky white on the site says it was reformulated and one coat black does not.
