"Let him go to heaven". In Florida we can't relocate them either. So I told FWC Law Enforcement that I relocated all of my beaver.... to my freezer, they taste like Beef. It's fun to watch law enforcement go through so many facial expressions in such a short time, but it always ends with a smile.
I snared one by the tail at my last job. I caught the 60 pound mama, and three 30 pound young, but 60 pound dad was not so easy. On that job I used mostly snare poles in the water. Figured he saw what happened to his family and was really mad, so he slapped the snare with his tail and the loaded snare slapped shut on his tail. He was to big to swim through the snare without getting caught, so it was his anger that got him caught. He needed and Anger Management Pill to the back of the head to calm him down. 🤠👍
😁😉🤣🤠🤪😜😅🤞 I caught the whole family except the big male. I was using water snares, but the loops were too small for him to swim through without getting caught. Yet I caught him by the tail. The only thing I could figure is that he knew these snare took out his family, so he got mad and slapped it with his tail and got caught. Heard of beaver slapping footholds to spring them without getting caught. He must have known this trick and found it doesn't work so good with snares.
wow by the tail. Ive caught rats that way never a beaver, and how the heck did it make it all the way threw the snare to only get him by the tail. And when you catch the next one by the ear make sure you post that one the same day LOL. ur funny and humor is always good. did you get anything else in the other 2 traps?
