Have a great Independence Day!! Thanks for all you do!
hello since the hurricane is heading toward texas is it safe in san antoina I can't spell it right but is it safe
@@user-xv2hp9ld4b hi, fellow San Antonian here, seems like we'll be lucky to get any rain. We're over 170 miles from coast, we desperately need rain hoping it makes a dent in our drought situation.
When has Texas ever had 14% humidity?😆
@@JohnCurtis6140certainly not in San Antonio, dew points consistently mid to upper 60s to mid 70s have made it miserable when combined with temps in the mid 90s.
This guy's amazing and he's still got one more year before he graduates meteorologist college I hope he stays on social media!!!😊
No way he doesn't . 💵
Love these weather nerds!
Prayers for people in jamaica🙏🏼🇯🇲
We are praying for Jamaica. God hands upon you 🙏
🇺🇲🇬🇾 Stay safe Jamaica 🇯🇲 🙏
I appreciate it! 🇯🇲
Thank you for the update max. After the derecho we don’t need a hurricane in Houston. Prayingfor the best and will prep for the worst.
@@garrettreid5757 🤔🤔 my money is it coming to Houston 🤨🤨
@@garrettreid5757 I still remember Harvey Neva forgot nuff said nuff luv
Yall are still feeling the effects of that?
@@desmondberger45 yeah I mean some peoples houses were heavily damaged. A friends neighbors house had its 2nd story collapse. Repairs still need to be done in the harder hit areas of town.
Yup Houston here and I’ve had a bad feeling about this storm since the beginning
Prayers for everyone affected by this
I dont want it to be strong to damage anything but i do want it to bring TONS of rain here in Austin.. The past couple of years Dallas has been getting all kinds of rain and I've watched storms literally just split and go around Austin.. lake Travis here is like 80 to 90 ft low we need rain so bad it's crazy
Texas is preparing….We learned our lesson from the Texas Freeze years ago,so most Texans are getting ready in case it comes here!!! Prayers for everyone in the path!!! God bless!🙌❤️🙌❤️🙌
praying for jamaica🇯🇲
Watching cams.. They seem to be doing well! 🎉

The reason it's "disorganized" is due to Wind Shear. The one time Wind Shear is a good thing.
Kudos to the National Hurricane Center. Their forecasts, thus far, have been spot on. They have said, since day 1, "....those in south Texas should monitor the progress of Beryl."
Galveston/Houston area here. Fam and I are prepared.
Good, at least in this day and age we have the science and technology to detect these storms! Unlike September 1900 , the Great Galveston Hurricane tgat slammed into that city and over 6,000 people lost their lives! Read the book Issac's Storm by Erik Larson ! He is an excellent writer and I highly recommend all his books! The book on the Chicago Worlds Fair and the one about a ship sunk right before WWI by Germany are both great books ! IMHO!
@@InnocentPotato-pd7wi Thanks for the recommendation! When I think about the 1900 Galveston storm, it gives me the chills.
Love from Jamaica🇯🇲
Thanks for update. I lost power about 2 hrs ago. High winds and rain at this time🙏🇯🇲
Thank you for all that you do to cover the storms!
God imagine if this monster decided to shift into the gulf. Would be hurricane Katrina 2.0
Do a Beryl roll!
And the Hurricane shuffle.
Southeast Louisiana here really don’t need another hurricane here but always expect it could happen
Are you from Sweden, swedish name🙂?
As a Houstonian, we dont need one either, the wards are still in shambles from Harvey

I hope none of us get hit
Thanks For All You Do @MaxVelocity! You Are Saving Peoples Lives!
It looks like a double hurricane to my completely untrained eye.
😮thank you for letting everyone know and keeping us updated
I know it's way too soon to tell, but Max has been good at predicting these things 👍
So fast and energetic, I think I lost my breath trying to keep up.
Exactly what I was just thinking… he is like the energizer bunny. I keep trying to catch my breath 😝
That's what she said
i watch everything on 1.5x speed so i didn’t even notice lmao
Thanks Max. I hope you get to enjoy some quiet time the next couple of days.
Lots of trucks loaded with building materials headed south today.
They headed for Grenada? or maybe Jamaica?
I saw a photo of the storm split and it has two eyes. That’s weird
One is a separate but connected convection system spawned by moisture shearing off Beryl. And you’re right. It’s weird.
You can see a similar thing in the Atlantic low pressure systems coming off Africa. It’s spooky to see that in the Gulf, though.
Idk, I’m not trained so I just have to hope it’s the radar version of SLC (scary looking clouds).
@@irenafarm and because main stream news is not reporting so much that it could be anywhere near Houston or Galveston. I am watching more UA-cam videos because I trust more in the meteorologist on this channel for more accurate weather. I do hope that it does not make it to Galveston, Houston because since Harvey everybody’s on egg shells.
Thoughts and prayers to Jamaica
It's Beryl-ling towards Jamaica
max keep up the great work! sending prayers to all in the path
Great work? Hurricane go BOOM?
I'm impressed how long it's staying together.
Afraid for my friends in Jamaica.
It looks like the hurricane is elongating and spawning a second storm/rotation to its west. How bizarre would that be?
It’s apparently shear spawning convection to the west. I’ve never seen anything like that in North American waters, so I’m surprised broadcasters aren’t talking about it.
If the hurricane goes to Houston, then we can say Houston, we have a problem.
I think it’s going to turn and move into the gulf because I think after it hits Jamaica it will shift sending it more into the gulf gaining more power again the gulf is boiling hot
Max you called it, yesterday. You said it would probably hit Texas.
I’m torn.. I grew up on the Texas Gulf coast, so I’m worried.. But I live in Austin and we need the rain..
That’s a similar situation we face here in Western NC. Tropical landfalls are our biggest rain sources until winter, but we’re usually on the wrong side to see anything other than wind.
Maybe it will choke on Yucatan and then drift north as a cuddly little Tropical depression for y’all.
Nooooo😢😢
Thanks!
bring it on! we need some rain in texas!
Hello everyone
🌀Hi, Max! The storm behind Beryl is starting to look like it's organizing into a cyclonic formation. Do we have predictions on that storm? It's right on Beryl's tale. 🌀
You go head Max! About Texas..........YOUR RIGHT! Say around Huston due to the high that will move as in getting out of Hurricane Beryl way.
NOAA radars don’t really support a MASSIVE turn. Started heading toward Tampico, MX. now looking like 50-100 miles South of Brownsville.
Hey Max - PLEASE EXPLAIN why the hurricane will not increase in intensity IF it continues on a westward course BUT would increase if it would take a turn north? Most hurricanes increase when it hits those gulf waters. Are the temps in the lower half of the gulf cooler right now? It certainly appears that it would have time to increase even if it kept going west into Mexico. HOPE you see this and can answer.
Open ocean water, more time in that warm water, less wind shear, etc. There is more of a chance for rapid intensification if Beryl can stay in the Gulf of Mexico for a longer period of time.
Thanks for the good update and information. 😊 Go forth and have fun!
The Roosters have been crowing in the middle of the day here. They know it's coming. RGV Texas
Why are you Not a meteorologist?????? Man you are such a good speaker for this kind of stuff. love to hear you talk.
@@blackkimba2079 I believe he's in school for it currently.
He's studying to become one and already has an offer from a news station I believe
@@AMightyStorm that's awesome
Texas and its 14% humidity is going to eat Beryl like beans.
If Beryl shifts, it will be because the high pressure slid off east. The Gulf water is EXTREMELY hot and can easily power up Beryl enough to ignore any land based systems.
Rockport Texas here. Our coastal waters and Gulf of Mexico are super HOT 🥵 😡🥵🔥🔥🔥this year
It's always hot and humid in San Antonio, been having dew points in the upper 60s to mid 70 range for days, where in TX are you with only 14% humidity?
@@meme-sb7vr 25% here earlier, but central Texas.
@@meme-sb7vr64% for me. I’m in deep South Texas.
Thanks for the concise and thorough info!
THANK YOU MAX FOR KEEPING US UPDATED🌀 ON YOUR HOLIDAY….HAPPY 4th💙🇺🇸❤️
Thank you maaxx.for ur videos and updates 🤩
I can’t believe that it’s already a category five hurricane I mean that is just impressive
CAT 4
It WAS a cat 5 storm
Very impressive
@@DreamFearlessit was a cat 5
Hasn’t happened since ‘04 or ‘05 I believe
Kooks like two hurricanes doesnt it???
When Beryl hits the gulf of Mexico unprecedented events could happen. It could strengthen to beyond cat 5 and hit TX, LA, MS and FL all in one curve event as it strengthens. Do not underestimate advanced climate change with current models. This year could create the strongest hurricane the US has ever seen. BE SAFE
Thank you for an excellent forecast. Your prediction of where you think it’s going to make landfall is pretty much where I live and, although I agree with you, it sucks nonetheless. Praying that it takes a hard left 🙏🤟
My predictions are that it makes a right turn into the gulf, turns into a EF 5 then hits Houston
Cmon, my yard needs the rain
If Max says TX, then it’s TX. Then it’ll likely break up and get swept up by an eastward front and we’ll *_hopefully_* get some rain in MS.
Yucatan will wreck it.
💋 goodbye to Campeche, Mexico
Depending on cold front entire Texas coast might be put on alert , this will draw in storm nothing else now and bet it builds back up by the way how come Hurricane Hunters are saying one thing and Hurricane Center saying something else on winds
Great ccommentary ❤
Subbed up
Thanks
I'm starting to believe that this will weaken eventually
So if it continues on its path that would be good?🤔
Been saying Louisiana for 5 days now
Thank you 🙏
Get ready...for the Flea Flicker...empires end.
Wind Shear is needed because it cuts off the top of the hurricane which snuffs out the life of it and would cause it to weaken dramatically.
Thanks
Texas need more rain between Jul and Sep.
Carriacou Island was demolished what 2 , 3 days ago. I didn't catch this on Max V.
Houston
I like to say, you can't disrupt a storm except with weather. High and Low pressure.

This is scary close to what happened during the flood of 93. Record flooding up north plus huge amounts of rain in the lower river valley could be catastrophic. Save this comment
High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program is up in Alaska so... no problem for them.
This is getting questionable with Hurricane Beryl, and it could go to Mexico or the United States late this week, and Hurricane Beryl might make landfall in Jamaica, flooding likely, high winds, storm surge to 5 to 10 ft
“Burl” not “Barrel”
Looks like two eyes to me!
This might be a good stress test for Boca Chica. I suspect they have some work to do.
Looks like the Lonestar State needs to be on alert.
That’s a large area of uncertainty. Over 350 miles from Brownsville to Houston.
What do you want? Egg in your beer?

This is the very first time I’ve EVER heard someone say “extremely minimal”! 🤣😀😂👍
It is maximally small?
Why does Beryl look like it's splitting into two storms?
That's what wind swear does, it tears a hurricane apart.
There's still Invest 96 out there
It’s dropping moisture to the west but instead of dissipating, it’s spawning more convection.
The Gulf is HOT. I’m just a teeny bit nervous about that.
Thankyou Max.
As a neurodovergent, your enthusiasm, deep details and passion keep me focused on what you're saying. ❤

Is sw missouri going to get these strong winds????
lol no
They said Harvey was going to be a CAT 1 if that. Just off the coast it turned in to a CAT 4 quick before it hit Rockport Tx. It did make the right turn just before it made landfall and the eye missed Corpus, putting Corpus on the better side of it.
Cmon Houston !!! We need the rain lol
A Houston landfall comes with a high risk of a Cat 2+ event.
Ok
Looks like two hurricane to me
You said “Galveston” when I think you meant Corpus Cristi. Houston and Galveston are only 30 miles apart. Corpus is a couple hundred miles down the coast from H&G.
Thanks Max
