i am not from the area. Is the flooding because some of that water should have been snow by now? is it warmer than normal? i would have thought flooding would happen in April when the snow melted in the mountains. Yes, i have heard of the wildfires burning hundred year old forests so the trees and their roots are no longer there to hold on to the rainwater. i used to visit BC in the 1990s, it was way different than now. i wish somebody that is 60 and has lived there forever could comment on what is going on.
Pretty much all of the area's you recorded were lowlands/floodplain. The golf and fields... that's all flood plain. I don't get it why people are shocked when floodplain actually flood.

It's not cut off entirely. There's still sea route and US route. Most of our goods come from China and the states anyway lol.

In the 9 years I've been a resident in Fort Langley, this is the worst flooding we had. And we were the lucky ones, compared to Sumas Prairie.
