IK or no one. Hate all the Felias (fake Delia) Love RM but she's Heather. Wouldn't want Ilene playing Heather either. IK says she regrets leaving. I wished she hadn't and that there was a better 'last' scene between her and RH that didn't involve magically misbehaving only with R&D Little John. Never a peep with F&R or M&J. And hypocritical Maeve can suck it!! When Delia lies and schemes it's 'evil' Maeve is just 'clever' and gets cheers. When Jill is with Delia's husband while they have a child somehow Delia is bad. When Delia is with Roger where she belongs while Maggie is pregnant Maeve lectures Delia on how bad she is. Again, Maeve can suck it !! I won't watch without IK's Delia.
Too bad that Ilene didn't have much luck in Hollywood or get to do more comedy like she wanted. She should have easily been able to make the transition to primetime and movies like Kate and Catherine. Well, she's had a good career anyway.
This broke my heart into pieces when they killed baby Edmund. Especially, after the day had unfolded as it did. Beginning with words between Gillian & Seneca that he was trying to once again control her and his wishes to keep Edmund from not only Frank, but now the entire Ryan family. Her decision to go on ahead to beach house with Edmund and the fun day they had once they arrived. The touching visit with grandmother Maeve and when she gave Gillian the final brass button from her father, Edmund’s great - grandfather’s, military uniform. Just as she had given Little John & Ryan for Christmas. Then Franks serendipitous visit just as Gill was about to leave and her taking time to engage Edmund with his father, having precious Edmund shake hands with Frank, congratulating him on his big day. The words exchanged by Maeve and Frank , regarding how hard Gillian focuses on happiness of others and tries to do what is right for everyone ( Edmund & his Ryan grandparents, Seneca) all except herself. This storyline has effected me for 40+ years now. Watching it again reminded me again of the beautiful writing Mayer and Labine created together, then the production and actors that made it come alive on stage.
This delis is horrid!!!!! Plus looks 10 years to old who the hell casts yhis show???? The original actors xcept frank were great but now????? I can see how this show went into its slow demise!!!! The recasting has become lole a bad joke!!!!! They should have kept mary carney if they couldnt hang on to kate and i hear they fired this siobhan???? Shes great .sometimes i wonder if abc wasnt trying to sabotage the show they over rode clare alot!!!
Robyn Millan who filled in as Delia agreed to do so until a new Delia was found. She did so as a favor to RH director, Lela Swift who directed Robyn in Dark Shadows.
Yes, she was on dark shadows. That’s where that voice came from. Thank you thank you thank you that voice, knowing I heard it in another to place, has haunted me for years. No pun intended.´. 😆 my mother watched dark shadows, all of my infant and toddler life. Then I began watching Ryan’s late in the series but through the magic of UA-cam I’ve been able to go back and get it from the beginning and I am proud to admit, i have since watched it completely through, four times.
There will be another one very soon. She was really awesome as the new improved all grown up Delia. I just love how self absorbed Delia was to feel slighted she wasn’t invited to DC for Frank’s inauguration 😂. This SOAP, had so many believable characters and storylines, that were relatable for myself with family and friends.

Pat is so self-serving, trying to influence Faith into abandoning Tom. Where was all of his insistence to toss guilt out the window when he dumped Faith only days before they were to be married? Where was his sensitivity when she had to see him go home with/to Delia all those months? Now he is only concerned that Faith will have Tom back in her life and her home. Why doesn`t Faith call him on his hypocracy?
