I saw a certain video just a couple of months ago showing a Dodge Demon 170 LOSING to a Ferrari 812 Superfast in a dig AND roll race, so when the opportunity presented itself at The Big Showdown 5 I couldn't waste my chance. I took on the 2024 Ferrari 812 Superfast in a roll race twice. Dodge Demon 170 vs Ferrari 812 Superfast 1/4 mile roll race.

Hennessey was just trying to sell the Demon 170 twin turbo upgrade when they posted the race between 812 and Demon 170. You could tell the Demon170 wasn't floored bc the driver looked so casual when he made the hit in the Demon.

A Challenger Hellcat Redeye can win a roll race against GT500 and Camaro ZL1 1LE, and the HP difference is not that much, but Demon 170 vs 812 is just large gap between each HP
I never understood why role racing is a thing if you can’t launch from a dig then why race it on a drag strip take it to a track where it’s meant to be plus I watch demonology for when he takes them souls and drops them off at the local gapalbees
True, I can agree with you there. I like roll races for real world scenarios, for instance if both cars/drivers catch each other already rolling on the interstate and decide to go head to head.

Sf90 is slower in a 1/4 but would probably win a roll or come close since it weighs less with better aero

@@johncena-hq1ti Compared to all the latest mid-engine stuff, it is slow. 812 Superfast is a mid to high 10 second car that traps in the mid 130s at best. SF90 and 296 are mid to low 9 second cars that trap near 150. The difference is bus lengths. The 812 is actually one of Ferrari's slowest 2 door cars right now.

These two cars are completely different the 812 wasn’t engineered to be a straight line car it’s supposed to be a grand tourer while the 170 is a drag monster not to mention it’s a 220 hp and 400 pound feet of torque of a difference the brand doesn’t make a car the underdog it’s the car itself in this case the 812 was certainly the underdog
