Go to ground mark a straight line on ground and allign parallely to the left side of your car.....have a mark in your car dashboard(with colour cellotape) such that the white line when viewed from driver seat is left to the marked cellotape.........now everytime you over take just make sure the vehicle is outside the marked cellotape.....practice for some days you will be able to judge better

I can tell you this as I own eon.....while sitting on driving seat you see some portion of wiper shown that's where the left tyre lies. For eg - while driving , if that portion of wiper stay on the white line that's means your left tyre running on that line.
