Lieutenants can't just give an order like that over the Boss. It sets a bad precedent. That is what ultimately got Kuze to cut off his pinky because he went over the boss head. Obviously, if he killed Kiryu before he got in contact with Dojima, Kuze would've gotten off scot free.
Unless your the main character of the franchise and could leave to live with your adopted daughter whenever you want but nah underworld politics are cooler

This shows that Kiryu was a total monster on his youth, able to destroy the Whole Dojima family and even beated one of their best Lieutenant, Daisaku Kuze, and it basically Foreshadows all of his doings later on The Next Games and what he can do, especially Destroying the Whole clan Of Family (Y4) Ueno Seiwa, Destroying Omi (YK2), Destroying The Jingweon Mafia and Yomei Alliance (YK2 and Y6), Destroys The Seiryu Clan (Y8/Lad IW), Beated up most of the Tojo Clan (YK1/Y5), Destroying The MIA Units (YK1), Destroying The Snake Flower Triad, The Black Monday and Hakuho Clan(Y3), Almost Destroys The Whole Daidoji Temple (Y:Gaiden), And Beat Up Ichiban's Party without any sweat (Y7/Lad7) This man is on absolutely Different level ✨🔥
It was the same for me when I first started, but now I’ve beaten the game and am an absolute beast, though it only gets harder from here. Remember: Real yakuza use a game pad!
Was this your first playthrough? Use the taunt button to up your Heat meter, and don't be afraid to use Heat moves, especially on a boss fight like Kuze!
Honestly, these 34 minutes is enough to make me want to pick up Yakuza and play through the entire series (aside from the RPG one where you play as Ichiban) But i also know that Yakuza 0 has 15 hours worth of Cutscenes alone. Which is not to say a bad thing persay, but that also means there is a metric fuck ton of content to sit through, and idk if i would be able to deal with that nowadays...
It doesnt matter who you are. If the drop kick out the window didnt captivate you, this game isnt for you.
If the fact that you deal with most of your problems by beating the shit out of everyone didn't captivate you, this game isn't for you

i don't think anyone notices but Kiryu voice cracks at 30:51.
His voice cracks a lot in 0, and probably the only time in the series, interesting as he is the youngest here
