Lori, I really love this video. I do need to say that not too long ago, I was scoffing at your teachings. Raised by a single mother, I was always taught that a woman needs to go to college, and secure great employment. Well along that road I met my husband, a hard working, kind, a warm (and handsome) man. Because he is in the military we had to move overseas and I of course had to quit my job. I was truly devastated at first. Ever since I really listened to what you have to say, I’m so very thankful and blessed to stay home full time and run a home. I love that I can get up and make breakfast for my husband before he goes to work, pack a lunch for him and have a good, warm dinner waiting for him when he gets home. We haven’t been blessed with kids yet, but I revel in the fact that when that day comes, I will be able to be home with them full time! So sorry for the long post, but I just had to express my appreciation for you and your teachings! Keep up the good work, and God bless you and your loved ones!

And I’d like to add that I do love and appreciate everything my mom has done for me when my dad left, but I wish she would’ve taught me that it’s not a situation that happens to every single woman.

You are blessed, Yvonne! God's ways are so very good and you and your family will reap beautiful fruit because of them.

This was such a heart warming and inspiring comment that I wanted to to say (even though that its a year later) that I hope you and your husband are doing well Yvonne!

Thank you Lori! Believe it or not, my mum was a homemaker and I still grew up not knowing how to make salads! I know how to steam vegetables which I've always done but now I have my own family and raw fresh vegetables is top of my list of what I want to prepare for them.
I'm so thankful I found this video. Thank you again, God bless you.

What stresses me out with salad, is I’m always concerned that I won’t use it in time before it goes bad. Which means wasted money. 🙁 Do you make a salad every evening no matter what? (Sorry if you said this and I missed it) I’m thinking that if I can discipline myself into making a salad every night with dinner we will all be healthier. Thanks for the video- I appreciate it!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my salad spinner! My sister got it for me. WOULDN'T take anything for it.
Before she got it for me I would wash and dry each lettuce leaf. Now I use my salad spinner EVERY TIME. CAN'T imagine NOT having it now.
How do you make your salad dressing please?

Hi Lori, I have a question. You said you showed all the steps, so does that mean you don't wash the veggies before slicing them? It looks like when you put them in the salad spinner filled with water, that's the washing step. Is that correct? Thanks!

ThinkerDreamer yes! They are all washed in the salad spinner.

Ypu could also throw in sprouts, tomato, beetroot, corn pieces, bell peppers etc when you pull it out of the fridge. And some tuna and avacado and sour cream on the side. Yummo!

No offense but I’m usually not a fan of your content but this is really good. Most Christian moms i know eat a lot of junk. They make fun of me for my healthy habits so this is a very good thing you are doing here.

I agree. I've seen Lori a lot on videos that criticize her teachings (and I personally don't follow her beliefs either), but I do like this wholesome side of her.

Have u ever thought of growing your own vegetables? Or have u tried? Where I live produce has become so expensive with COVID 😩 trying to stretch our income in considering trying to start a garden but we have limited yard space.

Love this! I sure do love my salads! I have a question and was wondering if you’d know anything about it- I heard that raw cabbage and other raw cruciferous vegetables are not good for the thyroid. I’ve often put them in salads, but that did make me pause... Have you heard anything about this?

I have recently started having problems with indigestion when I eat raw salads. Have you ever had this problem?

Also, can you make fermented veggies without dairy?

It sounds like you need to heal your gut by drinking a lot of bone broth, fermented vegetables if you can handle them, kefir, etc. Repair Vite is what has healed my gut! It's amazing and I suffered with a bad gut for 25 years.
