- Here is my junkyard settlement made out of a shipping container yard. I used workshop anywhere to build up this whole thing. Let me know what you think!

Honestly if some shit like this were to happen I'd love to stay in one of these containers
They look cozy
but imagine all the bugs and spider webs everywhere D;
Valoria All of the bugs in Fallout are mostly either dead, gigantic, or the same size as before the war.
Tyrion Targaryen consider many people buy and build homes out of Shipping Containers.
It is my understanding that the walls on shipping containers are often made of very thin metal (to reduce weight). Stability is provided by the internal frame.
That means that they don't protect you very well, and break easily.
Add to that the experience of living in a big metal box during the summer (hot like an oven) or the winter (icebox).
It's a cool idea, but not very practical. To make it work you'll have to replace most of the actual container, so why not just build a house from scratch?

brandon albright Bethesda Softworks is the microtransactions,Bethesda Game Studios who made Fallout 4 didnt do shit with it otyer than updates and DLC.
Cordless builds much better than bethesda
Bethesda is a peace of sh*t, they don't really care about what people have to say about what they should add to make there game better plus there strect and they black list good mods
Please talk to a mod author and make this a mod. This need to be in the game

Bro, this is very well done. It actually looks like a legit settlement built by the devs. You could always say that before the war it was a container storage area, so you don't have any awkward questions about where the containers came from
this looks like a second place for the atom cats or something like that oh and we need this to be a mod cause I want to make that place my new home

This is the most original settlement I've ever seen! It's the bomb :) :) some container names ....Logan's Contain Airport or North Containerlina. Lol

I have to say mate, I love this idea... I can see it happening. Right after the end of the world, they would build such a place, using the usable Vertibirds to put the Containers in place for a temporary homes until they thought they could rebuild things. But over time seeing with super mutants and other things out to kill the people, they created it into a settlement.
Damn! This is one of the most thematic builds that I've ever seen! That hospital was well made!

So far my sanctuary sucks ): none of the snappy-housekit builds fit on the places the old houses did ): any help?
Preferably a video tour so we can see everything you built. But if the a photo gallery is really good I might use it

I love how creative you are! I've been working on my weak, pathetic, sad ass vanilla settlements and have started and restarted about 20 times... Your cool ideas and builds keep me sane and interested in still trying to build up a perfect settlement!

This is super cool. I would totally be a resident of the Container Settlement Uhh Base. Super safe, cozy rooms, safe design, and a pretty chill bar to hang out!
Completely believable. I would pay for this content if it were an add on or a minor expansion. Even without a quest set to go with it it’s solid, but a lore friendly line would make it worth $10 or so per download. Great job, and I love how enthused you are for showing off your creative work.

I did something similar a month or two ago but it was just a few containers and I had busted walls in some to connect them but it was just meant as a player home. This is on a whole new level from that. Though it would of been cool to see this somewhere closer to a harbor or a train yard it’s still one of my favorite build concepts you have done. Keep up the great work.

Awesome build Cordless, love the idea. I especially liked the shrooms growing in the bathtub on the top floor. The debris mod is criminally underrated, it can make a settlement look really authentic.

I really find this build captivating. It really nails that Trade-District vibe that was present in Rivet City's, even if the overall theme is a bit different. Definitely one of my favorite builds of yours thus far! :D

Great work Cordless, logic lay out for something you would see at a cargo transport/storage depot. The top deck looks very good...I have to say, if I was unfortunate enough to be living in the Commonwealth, this is the type of place I would prefer to live at...Safe and secure.

Looks really good! Been wanting to use the containers for a while but never really figured out what to do with them, getting a lot of good ideas from this. Would be nice to see a short build video on a container home to see how you connect them

So creative. I usually don't like the "trashy" or "junkyard" look for settlements, but this was amazing to see. Well thought out and "believable". BTW, I'm surprised you didn't think about the fact that the guy with his eyes closed was right in the middle of a juice cleanse. You should have recognized that!

This is the new fashion on modern world. People build in containers it is more cheap, easy to make and takes less time. Have seen some things on youtube and Netflix and it is just amazing the houses they do
I really like this A LOT! It reminds me of the community I built on Spectacle Island with the crates there. It's a trip how the NPCs actually maneuver up on the barge into the living quarters but seem to avoid some of the easier accessible places. I'll be making videos eventually, when I can get them to record right. (Really should have spent the extra bucks on a better system!) Great job, love it all AND.... love your interaction during the tour. (especially the bathroom!) :D
