  • This is an all volunteer short film that was entered into the first Small Town Shorts Film Fest.
Marmora & Lake Public Library and Trent Hills Public Library wanted to create a collaborative event for their communities that would highlight the creativity that exists in small towns. This film fest will be an annual event.
The theme for the first year was COMMUNITY. A group that serves Campbellford's people in need went at it directly, profiling a few of the volunteers as they explain the diverse opportunities that are open to anyone of any creed that wishes to help in their local area by becoming a volunteer.
Have you been thinking of volunteering in town? Here is the opportunity.
A visible part of their efforts is the free luncheons served at Rotary Hall, Kennedy Park, in Campbellford. It has been widely noted that gathering to eat helps with the well being of many people who live under a disadvantage of money or opportunities to socialize regularly.
You are invited to enjoy the luncheons, usually with live music - no charge or a free will donation. Watch the video for more information on the schedule and the location.
All production was provided gratis by Charles Ross, Black River Media in Trent Hills.
