Film permit office usually put notification on doors but very much a day before or few.

@@davinxi5926 I was just talking about thats how location dept do film permit process during productions. all those street permit signs, neighbor notices etc, (there is a neighbor surveys and need to get signatures from certain radius neighbors in order to get approved for a film permit)
but for this case, I agree, the court building needed to be informed way before hand since it is special building.
As a lifelong Sacramento resident, I am thrilled an A list movie is being filmed in our city. Tell the Judge to fall back and relax! Sheesh!!

I lived in Astoria, NY where Kaufmann Studios is. Whoever was filming would ALWAYS post on poles the approval of what they were filming and when. I find it hard to believe there were no public notices around. Judge probably parks in a garage and didn’t notice anything.

That judge is ridiculous and sounds like a hater. The about of money they will make from the studio. Press, fans, and tourism who will come to town just to see. Leonardo shooting a movie is she trying to make her City lose money. No studio will ever want to shoot their movie in her town again. Not all the people is aware of what a movie film production set is and they need to feel secure. Its a very violent world. Shooting a movie in Sac is good for the city. Lots of money comes in from the crew/cast having to eat, get hotels, and the stores they have to go to to get what they need. For example, this is from online
