Sam posiadam kilka Twoich modeli B, ale ostatnio sobie odpuszczam. Szanuję Twoją pracę, ale uważam, że trochę za wysoko się cenisz. Pozdrawiam i wszystkiego dobrego :)
These are some amazing alternate builds, wow! That custom CV joint is really cool, I love all the unique ways people solve problems when limited to just one set. Great review Balázs!
4:35 I mean we've gotten multiple sets based on the G-class, Defender and even a modern Jeep which all have a history of military use, so I don't see why a civilian Hummer set is completely off the table
I see no reason why TLG would release a vehicle that is no longer in production and has a strong military connection. CaDA has released a military HUMVEE, which makes a LEGO version even less likely.
@@RacingBrick I noticed that, but the PTO spinning fast suggest low gear, and it spinning slow suggest a faster gearing. I came to this conclusion since you spun the PTO through the tire.
Holy shit the CV axle bodge is beautiful. I've seen a lot of experimentation with different ways to achieve a CV joint in LEGO but that is unique! (It isn't truly CV though is it? I think it causes lurching in the drivetrain?)
This additional CV joint works without lurching in the drive. It actually has a bit more friction than the standard one, but the difference is small enough not to affect the model's drivetrain :)
all universal joints (like 61903) have a varying angular velocity in bent state unless coupled in mirrored position. so if you couple with a cv joint like 32494 (standing for constant velocity or homokinet), in _theory_ you end up with some variation. this makes no difference in lego realm due to all clearances too large and resulting in enough slack.
Great alternative builds. I'm amazed the fan designers are so quick with their alternate builds. I also like the Bronco model from Alex. Would be nice to show the left over pieces in your video so we get an idea of how many of the sets pieces were used.
The creativity of the guys making these instructions is amazing - they make better models with a limited set of pieces. Lego Designers have every part available and some of their creations are still worse...
That's an odd set. An extremely large ownership gap between this set and 42110 at Rebrickable (with 20k of 42110 vs 700 G classes), basically only four alt models, where Land had more few months after release.

Nice review! All important information about models in few mins. Thank you 😊

Hi Eric, fantastic B models I hope I can find time to build them 🫠
I miss your two models for Cada. The excavator and the combine harvester 😞😞
The hummer looks really nice!
I'm liking the Humvee build, and the Bronco build by Alex Ilea looks nice too
Thanks for the appreciation for my Bronco!
Both look very cool and impressive. The fans are making the best job. Thanks for sharing your experience and b and cmodels.
The Hummer is the main reason I want this set to begin with! Just waiting for the right sale I guess.

Always happy to see alt build videos.
Nice UNIMOG!!!!!!!! Will buy another copy of the Mercedes for sure!
Don't care too much for the A model, but the B model hummer is very nice. As always, your builds and opinions are greatly appreciated.
Hummer H1 looks even greater than the original G-Class
I have an B model Unimog based on the 42126 Ford Raptor which is also pretty nice. It’s by Tim Scheiter.
Thanks, I am glad you still like it. It has been now 3 years since the release
They all look good
H1 is a really good alternate model
2real reasons why I would consider this set over the g-wagon. Not a fan of that SUV, but the hummer and Unimog are well done.
Great review… I really enjoyed the info.
Hummer H1👌
Thanks Balazs I think I'm going to but this set to build the Unimog!!
Also Balazs would it be nice if you can make videos about vacuum or pneumatic engine? That would be awesome!

Oh yeah, Trax's and Longer's alts are what is scaring my wallet :)
Honestly the hummer is my favorite

I'd say the faster spin is the low gear, and slower spin is the faster gear.
This is not a low/high gear differentiation, I said "slower" and "faster" output based on the speed of the PTO :)
@@RacingBrick I noticed that, but the PTO spinning fast suggest low gear, and it spinning slow suggest a faster gearing.

the hummer looks fantastic! I guess cannot make them though as it is a military vehicle.

🔥🔥🔥❤️
Compare this Hummer to Hummer from 42110 !
Wow! You realy have a budget now 😅

You can check that quickly by comparing the inventory of the MOC and the set on Rebrickable
@@RacingBrick Yes, I know. But then I have to get off youtube and to an external site. I'm lazy :)
I'm glad that you like my Bronco build ;)
@@alexandruilea6471I like it too!
Can you try technic engineering's f14? I was planning on buying it for christmas but I was waiting for a external rewiew to finish my decision
Да почему все инструкции платные🙁
what about the Technic Pagani Huayra on ReBrickable? It looks really cool
The creativity of the guys making these instructions is amazing - they make better models with a limited set of pieces. Lego Designers have every part available and some of their creations are still worse...
And LEGO designers have to work with tons of limitations, that MOC designers can ignore.
can I please Have The hummer?
I think the Unimog looks better than the original build tbh. That said I’m not tempted to buy the set

0:04 welcome to the next episode - Dre
RacingBrick, with a rebrickable set you have to empty all bags before you start correct?
That is correct
awesome, but what happened to the subtitles?
UA-cam refused to accept them, working on it
@ ah ok
These B models really made me want the G-wagen set. The "A" model is fine but doesn't interest me as much. Why are they not official!!!!!!
I guess ill be 3 of these haha.
700$ to get them all, no
You only need one, and then you can build and rebuild ;)
@@RacingBrick No, Balash, I need 3 sets to have them all parallel
