    I noticed it at the very start of the video guy, zero tyre ballooning on front tryres, more noticeable on the jumps and only dirt being ripped up on the rear tyres

    😹 fun part of RC. I bought the SCX24 for 120.00 the when you upgrade it with all the parts you put in it. You could of bought another one. 😹 I think you should get a new one. You had an epic side jump that was sweet. Have a great day Guy!

    Order the hot racing metal ring and pinion setup for the differentials and the metal yokes. They are available again now. Also order either hot racing or gpm metal axles. I've had nothing but problems with my since January. I like the truck but you have to look at it as a roller with junk parts instead of no parts

I have to be carful with money right now. Great slow-mo shots and your back flip ramp looks more like a how high can I get ramp. I like the new setup good job. Also to help preserve your jumps and all the effort it takes, Definitely consider some outdoor carpet or canvas tarp to lay on top of the jumps. Rainwater erosion and runoff destroys the shape of jumps quickly And I know the hige effort it takes to keep them nice. By laying down something on top of the jumps greatly reduces maintenance time. Even scrap pieces of house carpet that you don't care about work well. Pretty much any type of cloth runner will work. Try to get something cheap though Obviously because it will be left in the rain and get extremely muddy. I learned this from building BMX tracks when I was younger. If you look At any unofficial dirt jumping areas that are used often almost all of the jumps have some kind of covering to greatly reduce water erosion. Yard is looking great man keep up the good work. 👍

    • @rcguygarage
      @rcguygarage  3 роки тому

      Yeah the only issue with the carpet IA 100% agree about preserving the jumps using preserving the jumps using something so that you know things don't erode no things don't erode and get nasty but the issue is obviously the issue is obviously this is my backyard my wife has to look at it and my wife asked to look at it and her looking at pieces of muddy carpet at pieces of muddy carpet is kind of not going to really look up going to really look all that great and that's also what I've got that little red tractor for also what I've got that little red drachter for is to maintain those jobs I tain those jobs I have tongues of material from the regrading from the regrading process of the backtrack and in the end I think and in the end I think it will Just point like look better and you know they say happy wife happy life I definitely want to preserve that

    • @blindj
      @blindj 3 роки тому +1

      @@rcguygarage well I definitely can argue with that logic and thinking. My area is cut off slightly from the rest of the yard and it can't really be seen. I definitely understand what you're saying though. Maybe you could try a test piece of brown outdoor carpet And see how she feels about that. We used to use it all the time camping at Bourne scenic Park. At the time I was only 17 ( 1997) so I don't remember the price And I only remember they had at the time Green Brown and oddly Blue /Gray. Good luck with it though man It's looking great.

  • @bbeckers24
    @bbeckers24 3 роки тому +1

    I get the frustration. Been there done that. But many times it turns out to be a simple install error. Something was seriously binding after that nose first landing. After your flipped it, only one wheel was pulling, then all appear to have been slipping. I will add that something sounded off from the get go. The high squeal from your gear mesh sounded like slipping in the slipper clutches. If there was binding from the get go, it could have caused that slipping sqeal and serious binding at the end. All signs are pointing to some kind of binding from the get go. I am going to check out my BRCC when I get home. I have an idea but want to confirm before I post it.

    Go you have a Maxx? If so, do you recommend the Big Rock or the Maxx? I think I know the answer, but thinking of one or the other as a purchase or just going larger. I don't own an Arrma just Traxxas at this time. Great video, nice strat to an awesome back yard track!

      Honestly you would probably have to follow the video series and then maybe put and then maybe put on an additional 3rd of an amount of 3rd of an amount of time not filmed but yeah but yeah the big rock it really is a grump it really is a great truck but you are in but you are in that very low $300 very low $300 line of RC and you need to way out and you need to weigh out the eventuality of parts of parts that are going to be in need of replacement is in need of replacement repair or just from being you know point blank just from being you know point blank worn out to the point of should you just get another one I will say that it's been quite a long time since I've had an RC that has provided me with this many smiles for miles for the price/cost

    Part of the reason i run mine on 2s. After popping shocks and 2 drive shafts in its first 4 runs, there's no way this poor thing survives 3s. I figure i run it like this and find the flaws, then after everything that sucks is replaced, i can give it all the hell i want.
