    Greetings.
    Debt is a condition that tries to kill people.
    Debt to human beings is the amount left over to give to someone.
    There are few types of debts.
    1 is the debt when the poojas are not performed to our predators.
    2 Debts occurs when poojas and worships that are not performed as per the advise of Rishis.
    3 Debts to the gods and for not being able to fulfill them.
    The soul goes through every birth to fulfill the duties of being
    born on earth as a body and then unable to fulfill all the debts by word or deed until death.
    We may know of a temple that is capable of dealing with debt clearing.

    Brahmadevan select this place where soil is sown to sow the seeds of life.
    There are 276 famous Shiva temples in Tamil Nadu, Ninety-fifth of them is this Shiva temple.
    The temple is located on the banks of the river Kaveri.

    It is advisable to visit the temple on the first Monday and 11th Monday. Yagas were performed on 11 Fridays also.
    The prevailing belief is that all debts will be paid off, so devotees from all over come here to pray.
    The temple has three theerthams. One is the Bindu theertham.
    It is believed that, it s a drop of Amrith from heavan.
    This theertham is a temple pool.
    Temple holy tree is - Mavilangai. This is 100 years old tree has been destroyed and a new tree has been planted
    There is a peculiarity that it fills up with four months leaves and the next four months with white flowers appear for the next four months without even a single leaf.
    It shows the stages in human life.
    It is said that on Ashtami day, the Maha Bairava was celebrated with Sahasranamarchana .
    It is believed that all issues such as litigation and court cases will be settled

    To Reach : The distance from Kumbhakonam to the temple is 15 km on the Thiruvarur route
    Nearest railway station is Kumbakonam.
