Hearing this song today, I realize through Phil's lyrics, what brought us to this milestone and the 39 total years together. We became "Two hearts believing in just one mind" !! So much of our lives in each other. Keeping faith in what I believe in. Phil's songs are truly my life's soundtrack, way back since Face Value in 1981. There's been plenty of hurt over the years but I didn't 'look down, just look up ... never let go.' I feel Phil & I went through some similar ups & downs with relationships & successes. His path went opposite mine. He stuck to his dreams where I chose to pause. Compromises are important. Now that children are grown and retirements are here, I hope we both can find the happiness in the respective areas we've missed out on. There's always been and always will be a special place in my heart for Phil.
