1 Get rid of front code, just have it as RFID with aback up key option in the rear. 2 Make it an actual stereo alarm clock in the front. God knows technology is small enough now that can be done with ease. 3 make the spring strong enough to snap the drawer open all the way.
@@hornady And what is the Pricing going to look like? Guessing it is going to come out high and push most people away from the product at launch? Hoping for affordability and great sales! Guessing these are coming from China?
Bought one of these. After about 14 months the computer board started going crazy. It started beeping all the time. Wouldn't open except for the key and the front code. Didn't want to keep time. Ended up throwing it away and going with something else.
Does this work as a functioning alarm clock? I've searched the internet as well as read the actual box at the store and can't find an answer to this anywhere.
I have yet to get a response to this anywhere. Been contemplating buying this thing for about three months, but it's pointless if I have to still set my alarm clock on top of it to wake me up.
Update number 2: Upon looking at a PDF of the instruction manual, I see no mention of an alarm so I'm going to assume that it doesn't have one. Secondly, the interior dimensions are barely big enough to squeeze in my FNX-45 Tactical. Too bad. @Hornady this is a great concept and would blend right in at the head of my bed but what's the point if I have to stack another clock on top of it and can't even fit a full sized pistol with light attachment inside it? You need to talk to your engineering team about this.
I don't like that it's electronic dependent. I would rather it have some sort of mechanical secret handshake mechanism. I don't like any of these safes that are electronic dependent
@@user-hb1uo6vq3j That's cool. I would rather one not have any electronic's at all. It does look pretty cool but I'm not down with any of these smart safes. They communicate with electronics in your house and in the future the way Facebook censors you. @@hectormorales5306 ah, makes sense, i have the mech safes in the house, i think id like this one just for ease of use really. it isnt a perm safe but just a nice night stand option.
Bought the clock safe product and the clock is always off in a short amount of time. Suddenly after several months the green lock light stays on. Called customer service and the call was answered by a sarcastic passive aggressive trash employee. He claimed that I could mail the heavy thing in but the processor has not and will not be corrected as they use the same one and "are trying to find another processor" since it's inception. He also claimed that the green light has always been a constant light although I told him repeatedly that was not the case when I purchased it. He mocked me for saying the green lock light defeated the low profile purpose of the safe saying "oh wow, a giant greenight that's 1/2" tall" This man has represented Hornady as an absolutely disgusting company to deal with. I told him that was **** move and he said I was being "aggressive" Lol find a way to live better Hornady guy...
@@bleach6286 they narrowed down the call to identify the employee issue and asked for my address to send a new one even though I didn't ask for one. So they made it right as possible, but I'm not sure they can get the clock issue corrected on any of them. After a few days or maybe a week or more the green lock light had disappeared. (I wasn't paying attention to it anymore while using it differently) I haven't tried the new one as I have retired the idea of inconspicuousness and just use it as a regular safe not as a clock safe. I've seen issues with it opening on other videos but haven't experienced that myself. I test it occasionally but that is another reason I just use it differently now.

Wish they were made in America
Are the clock numerals dimmable? Thanks.
Yes they are.
Must be the best out
Just saw a scam on Facebook where someone was claiming this was theirs and they were selling it for like $30 on thier website
When will these be available to purchase?
Expect them in stores beginning of March
@@hornady Is this still true? I have not seen them yet and would really like to pick one up. Price?
@@joshuagladis unfortunately they have been pushed back a couple months. All of us here are ready to add one to our houses too.

Can you post a link where I can click on and buy it😊

Keep another safe for backup.
Suppose to run on batteries as well
there is a key for physical unlocking. that is probably the failsafe for when the power goes out
