Looks fine for replacing a factory plastic gun case. Just know it's only a light-duty gun locker and will only keep kids out. But for a quick storage or gun range safe, it should serve its purpose well.
Biometric is good to keep kids away from guns while being the easiest and fasted way to get to your gun in an emergency. You should have both a biometric safe for fast home defense gun while you get to your main safe for other guns.

@@mannymm7887 ive never found a reliable biometric with 100% effectivesness. Mechanical push button locks are far superior and reliable.
Strut on the sentry safe needs replacing after a year then every 3 months thereafter.
Mine was still going, but I pried the safe to death last week. More to come.
