I have the Pixel 6 and if I had the option, I think I'd still pick the Pixel. Day 1 Android updates, fantastic cameras (the NP1 camera samples I've seen don't wow me), spam call blocking, it's a whole load of stuff I don't think I could go without.

I choose pixel 6 over the nothing phone for a simple reason, water resistance, nothing phone only has an IP53 rating and there are reports of water vapour going in the back glass and the camera
Nothing phone 1 for me. Ive had mine since launch and apart from the expected teathing bugs at the start its been amazing for everyday use i use the duel sim and run a personal and business from it and has more than kept up. The glyphs are reali cool but the novelty does where off after a while but still comes in handy. There is more the the nothing phone than just specs and numbers trust me.
Nothing Phone doesn't excite me, I was waiting for a banger to switch from Oneplus but they gave mid tier specs and design that looks copied. Front and side looks like an iphone without the notch and the back is cool, I have already see transparent back on HTC and that glyph seems like gimmick to me, if that glyph was RGB and if they would have added secondary screen or something like ROG phones then it would have been appealing. They talked about innovation and all they gave is transparent back with RGB which is already implemented. I wouldn't buy it so I switched to S22+. Hopefully next iteration flagship and appealing.
Nothing phone arrived Friday and have the Pixel 6 for my wife's upgrade arriving tomorrow so a very useful video! Weirdly the nothing feels more like a Nexus than a Pixel does but really love both 🙂

The real question, are companies actually going to make cases which support this new phone. I just can't imagine intentionally putting the phone face down without a case at the risk of scratching the display.

A Flagship costs minimum double the price and more. The OnePlus 1 was a Flagshipkiller in just one aspect: SoC. Thats it. Nearly all other areas it was miles behind like cameras. I'll type this text from an Oneplus 7T Pro, even here the cameras are just mid tier. The Nothing Phone is nearly capable like the S22 Plus. Just the pricedrop of Pixel 6 makes it hard for it. Thats all. I would go with this pricetag and SoC instead of the overheating 8 Gen 1 or worse: exynos.

Both are good phones, each on their own departments. Nothing has a better design, while pixel 6 has a better camera performance. In the same time both have many issues on their own too. Better to wait for nothing phone 2 or pixel 7.

I have pre ordered a Nothing (1) 12/256, however I am thinking of cancelling and waiting for the Pixel 7....not sure what to do at present.

Nothing ears are good for their price. I do have the black one. Software update made things better after few issues with voice distortion.
