To me personally I don’t care that the mic is a little tinny. Imo the most important things are comfort, sound and durability. If the mic doesn’t sound broadcast quality I don’t care. As long as people understand what I’m saying that’s what matters to me. Unless you are a streamer I don’t really see the point why you’re mic has to be top grade. Just an opinion though and if you place mic quality at the top more power to ya!
About a year ago I switched all my peripherals to steelseries and I couldn’t happier. Apex pro tkl(2023) arctis nova pro wired, QCK heavy pad, and prime plus mouse. I wish they would make a wireless sensei ten mouse! Maybe eventually lol.

I see that the nova 7 has been on sale for $135-140 these past few months. I think people who spends more than $150 for a headset, just goes all the way to the nova pros which maybe why the nova 7 aren't selling well in comparison (i think) so they tried to fill in the gap by releasing the nova 4 at $120 to attract more buyers who are not looking to spend more than 150.

Like review general feel (comparing it to my Ps5 Pulse and Turtle Beach Stealth 600's I use for PC) it's definitely high on comfort and unintrusive with it's presence when your wearing just haven't yet fired it up to hear the sound comparisons so once that's done I'll be back comparing MW2/Cyberpunk/any other game we have installed with full on sound at all times and go from there

Tbh, I love this one out with wireless dongle, but why the have to remove the 3.5 jack support or usb C like the Nova 1 and 3 model. 😢 I mean it should suppport the model below it. It will be a good combination, wire and wireless dongle.

Does the Nova 4 have the same protruding knob in the earcups as the Nova 7's do? I have bigger ears and have been considering the Arctis 7+ due to it not having that protrusion. Also, the older Arctis earcups are ever so slightly bigger in general compared to the Nova's.

To make a reference, I have the stealth 700 gen 2, and their set to the biggest 'size' for the headband, my ears ain't that big, but i do have a big head. Maybe they break in over time. But it's a gamble you know :/. I would still try them!

The 4x, for me, is the better buy as I don’t listen to Bluetooth music / calls during gameplay so for me saving money is the smart choice. But it’s great to see many options to cater for the varying needs or wants of 0eople🥰💪👍😇
It should work with the ps5 just fine. The only difference between the two is that the 4P version doesn’t have Xbox support. So if you never plan on buying an Xbox and sticking with the PlayStation you’ll be fine with the 4Ps.

Agreed. Their stock mic is absolutely trash, but thanks to sonar. I modified and tweaked the equalizer and thanks to sonar, I sounded like im using a condenser mic.
I may be missing something but how do I switch the audio to my headphones? This is the only video I managed to find talking about this headset. They connect to each other just fine but when I go to the setting to switch the audio, the headset doesn’t show up. Am I missing something?

The mic sounds like a phone with bad noise cancellation or something though. It really does try to eat the start and ending of words and sentences you're saying. It's weird.

SS has a different sound than HyperX. The cloud are well rounded for all gaming styles, SS has always been a bit more FPS
