This might be a strange comment but I think you not being a 100% dark souls expert actually made this video better. I mean 4 playthroughs is a lot, sure, but all of these challenge runs videos are from people who have beaten the game like hundreds of times, with 2000 hours of gameplay. So you being just a little bit more unexperienced made this video a little more unique than usual, I think. Great video dude, very nicely edited too. I appreciate the Hollow Knight soundtrack in the background as well.
Thank you Jonts! I guess I am starting to catch up to those guys. Have little over 200 hours now working on my 9th playthrough at the moment, but I definitely wanted to show that you don't need thousands of hours to do these challenge runs.
tbh a +15 Caestus (doable before the Gargoyles) really would melt them. even with all of these extra stipulations & probably even at the level he fought them at
@@lettuceprime4922 oh yeah you could definitely get a +15 weapon before Bell Gargoyles, that's why I decided to lock the embers behind bosses. So I couldn't just go get a max level weapon and easily beat them. I could of done the same with getting a lvl 90 character before Bell Gargoyles, which is possible with a bit of grinding in darkroot garden. I find by far the easiest way to fight Quelaag is to just hug the spiders face on the right side (the bosses left), right in the "armpit" beyween the face and the front leg. None of her sword attacks or stomping attacks will hit you, and any belching attacks are extremely easy to avoid by just moving a little bit to the right and hitting the spider legs. Additionally, the AOE tell can't possibly be missed from that perspective. The only real threat is if she does an AOE while theres lava on the ground behind you, so just watch out for that. Should still be able to just run around it reguardless. You might even be able to jump over it, but I havent tested that out. Great video dude.

Soul/Weapon level 1 version: farm wyverns for dragon scales (good luck) or duplicate them with a glitch to get the dragon torso stone. Dragon torso stone gives your bare fist 400 attack rating, pair with power within and/or red tearstone ring for more damage. After beating Ornstein and Smough, the sanctus shield (without needing the stats to wield it) can be combined with the dusk crown ring and getting cursed to allow reliable activation of power within and red tearstone ring at the same time by healing at the same rate as your self damage.

In a city plague by the crimes. A city that you know or could imagine. A city of buildings and streets. A city in pain. A city in need of a hero. And that hero is Skeleton Man!
During my first play through I discovered that the Spider is actually very easy. Of you look at the woman's hand, it will actually signify what attack comes. Example if she taps the spider forehead it's flame thrower. If she hugs the spider head then it's a explosion, this made it very easy for me to beat, only 3 tries (now ofc u were naked but still I think keeping an eye on this will make her quite easy)
I never knew those knights dropped chunks, and I used them to level up before Ornstein and Smough on at least 5 playthroughs: they never dropped any for me.

Thank you!
This was basically how my first full run of dark souls remastered went. Except I did use grasscrest.
Great work mate, nice video! I'm subbing!
Thanks Crazyakira for Subbing! I’m thankful for it!
keep making more videos mate so I can keep enjoying them
Will do!
Here I am watching this fully armored, armed to the teeth uprading everything to max 😢
Please for the love of God keep doing what you're doing lol being naked all the time isn't as great as people said it would be
@@AccainGaming i can imagine… Still, amazing video, loved the commentary. I dare you to do all the soulslike games naked and with fists only! 😅
@@raggadubdubgaming haha that's the plan
It really is funny to me when the commentary for runs like this offer tips that imply that ANYONE else would put themselves through this...
Lol you never know
This is literally the first time I have seen anyone use Green Blossom.
When you don't have the grass crest shield you get desperate lol
I love the punch out song in the battles
Really nice vid ! Just one advice for gwyn you can actually parry his jump attack that he does everytime at the beginning and it's pretty easy to do as well
Yup, I ended up learning that the hard way in my double trouble mod run
@@AccainGaming oh okay I have not seen that one yet lmao that's harsh
@@jinwoo4167 indeed it was lol, but thank you for the advice! I really appreciate it!
Getting oolacile catalyst is very good for physical builds that use magic weapon
