It's crazy how even in a 2 hour stream he only managed to scratch the surface of the game - There plenty more to discover in Vargverse! That said, it's also amazing that he saved this game for a charity stream. That's awesome how my dumb game was used for a good cause. (Oh, and if anyone was wondering, the F1 message at the end of the game was a reference to a message from one of the games featured in Joel's Shareware Madness streams)
I like how some characters have progressed from the last Joel Mugen, Hulk Hogan being an actual sprite edit with lots of moves instead of just a FirePro sprite, Pantherk actually having moves, even a custom mechanic. You've done one hell of a job, someone should pick you up to work on fighting games.
I prefer the comeback at 1:34:05. DIO still had half of his health left and Jotaro still managed to make the most badass comeback possible, with several beatdowns, a timestop, and perfect timing on his theme at the end of the first beatdown and the timestop. If that ending went on for just a few seconds longer, it would've been perfect.

Joel almost won repeatedly. It's obviously inspired by SNK bosses but it isn't nearly as bullshit as those actually are, he just wasn't making use of most of the move list in his early fights and resorted to mashing when he panicked.

I can see it now. The Vinesauce VARGVERSE FGC. Dio mains are constantly downplaying their character, Jotaro mains are just clocking their hours in and telling Dio mains to shut up meanwhile Dick Poop mains are sharing secret discord tech and mixups they found.

I've had the passive idea characters to be in this stuff for Jerma, Simpleflips, etc too. As well as a kof styled Meme House team fighter but I obviously can't make that. Now we need a full professional dissection of this and then a tier list and someone to explain all the characters' frame data and mechanics. It turns out CBT can be mvc Magneto levels of insane lol. Side note but the last fighting game I've played (aside from trying Jenny in nasb and casually returning to Smash Remix) is actually Tekken Tag 2. I love Forest and Leo in it. Then Alex too. Shame it didn't do well cause holy shit what a fun game.

Man, I really hope there is* at least one more stream of Vargverse. There is just so much love and care put into this game; even having watched the dev stream where each character was shown off, there were _still_ moves and moments I’d never seen (freakin’ CJ and Dodge Viper were beautiful). And I’m _so_ happy Joel and chat got such a kick out of this. 10/10 fan project, and hands down the best Vinesauce MUGEN collection around ^_^ *or was, since as of this writing I watch Uncle Joey solely via UA-cam :]
I love how the Bonzi fight is just Bonzi standing there barely moving it really feels like those bosses that are so above you that one attack destroys you so they do only like 3 moves the entire fight
