    Great vid Simon, we’ve a steaming biz called Stream-Australia and normally handle it traditionally on site. When we’re on the other end feeding a centralised switch, they’re not as well set up as you. Or learned. I learned from you and look forward to seeing more. All the best.

    Wow. That was very interesting. Looks like many years of evolution have gone into all those choices. Thanks for the BTS. That audio really intrigues me. Do you ever get audio feeds directly through dante from other mixing boards on-location over the net?

    Hey there! I wanted to say thanks for sharing this incredible video showcasing your setup. I'm truly amazed by what you've accomplished! I have a couple of questions regarding the connection and control setup:
    Could you please explain how you connected all of these devices together? It would be great to understand the specific connections and cables used to achieve such a seamless integration.
    I noticed you're controlling the TI-3 with the Extreme Deck. Could you provide more details on how you set up the Extreme Deck to control the console? Any specific configurations or software involved?
    Additionally, I'm curious about how you incorporated Dante into your setup. Could you explain how the TI-3 and other devices are connected using the Dante networking technology? Did you use any Dante-enabled audio interfaces or network switches?
    I understand that these questions require a detailed explanation, and I appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge. I'm currently working on implementing a control-room system for my auditorium, and your insights would be immensely helpful.
    Thanks again for your fantastic video, and I look forward to hearing more about the setup and configuration you've used!

    Impressive setup! Do you usually work on full remote events or do you bring in remote cameras too? If so, can I ask what encoders do you use? I guess some sort of kiloview SRT encoder? Is the delay a concern? Also, if you have to send any signal to the remote room or venue, is the delay a concern?
    Many productions are moving towards Amazon EC2, but I'm still trying to figure out what's the point on that. Do you use EC2?

    Very nice setup! Do you have remote cameras? PTZ? Operator cameras? How do you bring the signal? Why do you have input cards, if you do remote events?

    I’ve always been scared to use Vmix or any software solution in a professional application. Would love more videos breaking it down further!

      I completely understand your concerns and agree.
      A lot of show critical roles are using computers now and I forced myself to understand and get comfortable with this new way of working.
      It is has been a case of plenty of testing and keeping things stable. I'm lucky in that this setup is permanent and dedicated so I know and understand it and I can thoroughly test prior to a real event. And then it is a case of building on what I have learn't in the past.

      vmix can run 24/7 with no issues, just buy the recommend hardware brand new, use a. UPS and decent surge protection.

    Impressive. This is way above and more complex than my vMix setup, though I do have the same SDI & HDMI input cards card arrangement in my tower PC. My struggle is when live streaming to UA-cam, despite trying various output settings when covering say river rowing events, I get a lot of pixellation on the water and trees. If I stream to Vimeo, it looks perfect. I'd be interested in how you configure your stream output if indeed you stream to UA-cam?

    • @StreamoutAU
      @StreamoutAU  Рік тому +1

      Thankyou. I have done quite a few corporate jobs on UA-cam and haven't noticed any pixelation, certainly no difference between Vimeo and YT but by the sounds of things, the water and trees etc might be much more complex scenes.

    • @jjws600
      @jjws600 Рік тому

      One way to circumvent the bitrate issue on UA-cam can be to (i've only experienced this with recorded content, but i'm sure there is a way to do this for live stream) say your video is 1080p, render the video out in 4k and youtube will give the video more bitrate but it will obviously not be more pixels just better bitrate.

    • @VickersDoorter
      @VickersDoorter Рік тому

      @@jjws600 Thanks for that. I have tried streaming 1440p & 4k. The limitation in out-of-town UK is that the upload speeds are often not suffiently high or stable enough. It's a bugger.

    But I had a concern, how do you do for the Title, I mean how did you do to synchronize Google Sheet, this software and send them to vMix.

    really nice setup, thanks for the tour, it gives somes ideas. I'm thinking about putting Bitfocus Companion on a Orange pi 5 and do stuff like central control offers. Can't see any weaknesses in your setup, i recognize the switcher tyst 4 m/e, tf3, dante, ... The rme digiface is really a great piece of hardware i didn't know, i'll look into. And the audio monitoring hardware i see on football match is TC electronic ? Clarity M stereo i think
