Keeva Byrne Idk what's wrong with y'all, I still use that shit as a base and in the waterline regularly and I prefer it over any of the high end shit 😂 (I don't do the natural glam type of make up though, so maybe that's why)
Also when sam’s tutorials were all close ups of her eyes and that purple real techniques accent brush she used in every video but would have to check the brush to remember the name. Good ol’ times
I’m so OG, I remember when you were Batalash Beauty. You captivated me with your amazing sense of humor. I totally remember everything you’re talking about 🤣. I also remember Jaclyn’s 3 or 4 lipsticks with Gerard. Shortly after Kylie had her lip injections and did that taupey-brown lip, she came out with like, 1991 or something, and a red, a peachy nude. Those are what I can remember 😂. Completely awful lipsticks... ALSO, how Sigma was the shit before Morphe even came into play. IMO, Sigma is BETTER than Morphe. For sooo many reasons, other than quality.
Red Cherry! That takes me back like...8 years? Red Cherry was my jam Tragically, I had LITERALLY no idea what I was doing with them and I look back at photos from that time in horror
Lip Tars were a moment, also remembered Urban Decay electric pallete EDIT: honorable mentions: neon lips, peel off lip tattoos(oh god), benefit "they're real" mascara, concealer lips, colored mascara, lit cosmetics glitter, kat von d shade n light, mac paintpots, coastal scents eyeshadows, benefit poreless primer, mac studio fx, nyx jumbo eye pencils...
Does anyone remember the UA-cam before Instagram existed? Makeup Geek was not a brand but was just Marlena’s channel name. When making UA-cam partner was the coolest thing for creators after that was an option. OG creators like: Juicystar07, her sister allthatglitters21, panacea81, Kandee Johnson, gregorygorgeous now Gigigorgeous, petrilude, Myeyeshadowisodd, etc. Glamour Doll Eyes was the popular indie brand. MAC was the brand everyone hoarded and their collections were the best ( Heatherette, Hello Kitty, & Fafi). Then Sigma came along as a cheaper alternative to MAC brushes and even used the same numbers. When Coastal Scents 88 palettes were promoted. OCC lip tars! Temptalia’s blog was everyone’s go-to for reviews (still is for me). Using iMovie’s intro music meant you were super cool because Windows Movie Maker was lame. Back when UA-cams description box was on the side of the video and there was a 5 star rating system?! Anyone remember?... no?... me either.
I remember xsparkage did tons of colorful looks with the 88 matte and 88 shimmer color palettes from coastal scents. I remember when Marlena first introduced makeup geek as a brand with long swatch videos comparing her eyeshadows to mac eyeshadows.
I remember when Lime Crime (and its not great reputation) was talked about during the Livejournal makeup days. I was shocked when I saw it in Sephora years later. Now excuse me while I go get my walker and tell kids to get off my lawn.
The hit of nostalgia I didn't know I needed today... I remember EVERYTHING that you talked about today & it gave me the warm & fuzzies. Been an avid beauty consumer since 2006 (I can remember an image/video of you wearing Melt Space Cake & your Reddit days) & recently joined the industry on the business side. I love being in the industry but it's def made me yearn for those simpler times & my consumer-only life 😜
I think what she means is that she's "bad" compared to what she used to do. She feels like she's lost a her abilities from when she was still freelancing.
Oh yes!!! I have a sister in law selling Beauty Counter now which cracks me up because she doesn't understand the basics of application, sanitation (for when/if she does parties post COVID-19), and her makeup looks rough. She's sucked into the "green clean beauty" cult and there's no pulling her out of it, she loves to follow groups.
Lorac was a big deal when I started watching videos... The first things I bought that weren't from walmart were the Too Faced Bon Bons palette, Lorac Pro 2... The Balm Mary Lou Manizer, Mac Waterweight (still love all of it, still hold that mac waterweight very high on my list...

Wait until 40 & 50 roll around. 😁 💜 You all are still on your prime. Your 30s and 40s are truly the best years in your lives. You just don't realise it or appreciate it yet. 😁 💜
I started watching youtube makeup tutorials when Xsparkage, Fafinettex3, lollipop26, allthatglitters21 were all the rage... I remember dying to get my hands on the Heatherette collection from MAC, and not understanding how people could own 32 Nars blushes... everyone was talking about Coastal Scents... fond memories.
I was just diagnosed professionally with dysthymia. Have binged all your videos and redone my makeup twice today - with some tears shed of course in your chit chats... it’s nice not feeling so alone. ❤️
I honestly get so happy and emotional when you talk about how the beauty world was back then. I remember my favorite videos to watch were ItsJudyTime's foundation reviews. I didn't buy a foundation unless she liked it
When you were taking about Gerard Cosmetics and their scandals “back in the day” I was like that was only like 3 years ago, wym back in the day, but NO that was like 5 years ago. UA-cam was so different 5 years ago, it was such a different time.
instagram makeup definitely got me into youtube tutorials and the two together taught me so much about makeup and skincare. it's still a journey for me to figure out what products work for me for certain seasons and occasions. and I love there's more growth and variety now..slightly less toxicity and more info on products. it's really helpful. and there's so much inspo too
The highlight before Becca I remember is The Balm’s Mary-Lou Manizer! I was always wanting to get that highlight but I was a broke college kid at the time. I like my Kosas Velvet Melon cream highlight now 😂
I still have it!! It was before I could get the balm products around town. I saw it at a Cvs in New York and snatch it up. You would have that I saw a unicorn. Lol
The MAC thing is SO REAL!!! Every time I look at a MAC product I still feel that special "MAGIC" - even though I feel like they need to innovate and revamp as a brand right now - they cannot be replaced in my heart! ❤️❤️❤️
I love just chilling doing my skincare or doing my makeup or just can’t sleep and sit in the middle of my dining room with one purple eye and one neutral…. I just love even listening to your channel while I’m playing in my collection! Love!!
The fact that I know more about these products and the beauty community at that time than real history (or anything else that's useful really) is slightly depressing lol
I Am sorry but as soon as you said DESI was pregnant.....I FREAKED! I HAD NO IDEA SHE HAD ANOTHER CHANNEL....JUST BINGED WATCHED THE ENTIRE 5 EPISODES OF IT! SOOOOO SOOOOO HAPPY FOR HER!!! THANK YOU FOR THAT!!!
Oh my god that was Sam, wasn’t it???? I had the picture downloaded on my phone because I had such a crush on the grey haired stunner. I didn’t realise it was her until I read your comment- 🤯
Preach it girl! I 100% agree with you that the beauty community was soooooo good years ago. I learned how to do makeup because I watched all of you. Hearing about you talk about these products does take us back to better days lol
I am SO SO SO FREAKIN HAPPY THAT YOU DID THIS. I just soaked up every dang second. I SO remember ALL of this, because I totally was following like you, Chrisspy, Desi, etc., circa 2011-12, when IG was hardly something, I was hunting for the Lavish palette and SO THRILLED when I finally got it- in all of it’s totally horrific yet amazing packaging, in it’s plastic sheath, ugh! I just remember all of this and the time, except from just a watcher/fan/extreme fan of makeup POV. I mean, I literally learned how to cut crease from you, I still to this day have your video in my saved YT collection on how to do an actual cut crease and I just thought it was the COOLEST most badass look someone could wear I learned how to do that from your close up eye shots and videos at the age of like 24! I’m just super grateful you took this detailed, in depth trip down real ass memory lane. I enjoyed this so much. Thank you, you the real OG for this.
Mac was absolutely my FAVOURITE back in the day. I still have 7 year old lipsticks that I cant seem to throw away. But I also remember the UD Naked Palettes being everyone’s holy grail back when I first got into instagram. Such different times.
Samantha, I remember first subscribing to you around 2014! I bought the chocolate bar palette because of one of your videos, and that’s what really got me into makeup. You even liked my tweet about it! So thankful for you.
This gave me soooo much nostalgia. I remember Makeup Geek being the biggest thing, I also remember revlon colorstay being the ONLY foundation 90% of people talked about. That was when I started making videos originally and it was so different. I also met you at IMATS which is still one of my favourite memories ever. And I’ve recently started making videos again and it’s definitely different than it was, but I feel so much support which is so nice. Thank you for this video Sam ❤️
When I started with makeup, I feel like the MAC concealer (the one in the glass container, with the pump) was THE CONCEALER!!! Oh and the... Prep + Prime Highlighter Pen... 😂 I would legit go to the MAC counter and buy everything the people I watched.. used.
what about frikin Bellami? and fit tea, loving tan blew up and everyone posted their tanning routines. Nikki tutorials told us that Nivia Mens after shave cream was the best primer for under makeup 😂 i could go on and on and ON
Omg, what a trip through memory lane! I remember your chocolate bar palette turorial and that old makeup forever flash palette. Guess I've been following you for 6 or 7 years at this point, circa dark foundation and heavy blush era . Time flies by! Also CoverFX liquid bronzer is back.
I remember following you and Jaclyn Hill back in 2014. You were doing Batalash, and Jaclyn still had a natural face. 🙊 I remember I bought the Too Faced Chocolate bar palette and I was so impressed with it! I remember also wanting to buy the Georgio Armani Lumunious silk foundation but couldn't justify spending an arm and a leg. You brought me doen memory lane and I miss those days, so much passion back then. 🙌
I've been following you since your Reddit days. Your post about the Melt lipstick swatches led me to buy 5 Melt lipsticks over 6 years ago. I still love them so much even though they're like beyond old. I have you to thank for exposing me to the wonderful world of indies. Thanks Sam!
I remember those lipglosses everyone was promoting with a mirror and light from a brand called whiting lightning? or something? michael todd organics skincare also holy wow I keep editing this but I wanted the occ liptars so bad!
I totally forgot about Michael Todd skincare! It seems like that’s all anyone used, I desperately wanted to try it...probably best I could never get my hands on it 😂
I HAD one of those tarte blush sticks!!!! And you are 100%, even after wearing it everyday to work, it still went bad (it got like a weird texture) before I even made it through it. I have to say though, when I was 22, that thing was awesome, it was perfect light makeup. I don’t think it would hold up to cream blushes nowadays but it was awesome back then.
it's AMAZING how far the beauty industry has come - I remember when the first naked palette came out and I was on a waitlist at Sephora for it so they would call me when it arrived... now we have about 47838 palettes being released every week!!
Sam that chocolate bar tutorial was the first video of yours I saw and I subscribed immediately. I just loves your humor and your way of actually teaching me something!
I discovered you on Reddit all those years ago and followed you to YT. I used to LOVE your OG looks and remember thinking how unique your style was cause I hadn’t seen much like it before. I loved this video and your commentary... so many “oh yeah! I remember” moments 😂
Omg what a trip down memory lane, such a delight. Also so cult classics back then; The Balm marylou-minseer highlight, MAC painterly paint pot and costal scents eyeshadow palettes! I also owned all of the Jaclyn Hill x Gerard cosmetics lipsticks, but sold them all after the scandal, I remember loving them!
Okay this is hilarious because just the other day I went back and rewatched a bunch of your OLD old videos from back in the day when I first started following you (aprox. 1 million years ago) and now all of those products are popping up in this video. This is, as a past Sam may have said, CRASY
I LOVED this walk down memory lane!! I started watching UA-cam/IG tutorials back in 2013, which is also when I started following you and the whole Batalash crew. So remembered these products!
Your reddit days were the way I found you and I'm so THANKFUL for that, I laughed so hard and was instantly hooked. It's crazy reflecting on these old days omggg
I’m still all about my abh Ashton liquid lipstick. I don’t wear it like the full caked on dry layer like we all used to. I’ll put on a nice balm and put just a couple dots of the lipstick and blend it out with my finger. It makes such a nice matte stained look that lasts a super long time and looks great with a gloss layered over. Why am I going into this rant about still loving liquid lipstick when everyone else has seemed to abandon it? I don’t know
Omg I love this liquid lip color so much! I’m definitely going to try your method because I love the color but can’t handle the cracked, dry spackle of a liquid lip 😅👍
I've been following you since you used to throw your products behind you during favourites videos and when you'd do an eye look that was 80% out of focus as your eye drifted out of frame with a 'wow sam' caption on top. I've loved you for so long and just wanted to say how fun it's been to be on this journey watching you thrive x
That damn Mac foundation was everywhere and it’s smelled like clay 😂😂😂. As a brown girl that was all you saw and everyone used NC45 😂. MAC was so huge for brown girls because they were the only ones with a good shade range and colors that suited brown skin. I remember that eyebrow pomade I was so angry when mine dried up 🙄
Cynthias stylemua I can totally can see that. Some of my friends who have super fair complexions only found things from MAC, K beauty, and later on fenty. Most things showed up pink on their skin. I’m so glad that there is more diversity in the industry now
I only recently started watching you and because of this video I went and looked at your old videos and I'm so shook at how much you've changed, like PURPLE HAIR wow, also the nude lipstick lighter than your skin was also a bold move Haha But honestly I really enjoy your videos, I love listening to your makeup chats it's so interesting and really funny when you are talking about it 💞
This is making me remember so much. I remember Motives! And everyone would be using their eyeshadows and calling themselves ‘Motives Mavens’ 😂 and when ABH did that Tamanna palette, Whitening Lightening, Gerard Cosmetics lipsticks when JH used to use them. Whoaaaa
I loved the Anastasia “so Hollywood” highlight. That was my shiiiiit back in the day. I couldn’t wait until I was able to order it. Might have been my first online makeup order.
I remember every.single.thing you talked about in this video. In fact, I would always pin your looks on Pinterest for makeup inspo because your make up looks were always on my feed and you weren’t afraid to use color. Your eyeliner wings were legendary. Obsessed with you back then, obsessed with you now ☺️ (in the most non-creepy way lol)
I’ve watched you since way back at the beginning, and this was great to see you use those old products we all know. You filming again is so suiting you! Get that 1MIL SAM ☺️
Ok, so I'm super late to the UA-cam/Instagram makeup game. I first heard about Bat-a-lash from RawBeautyKristi gushing about Sam. But when I first heard her talk about it, I swear I thought she was saying BATTLE LASH, and I was like "how metal!" And then I realized that it was Bat-a-lash, and I felt supes dumb. lol
i, too, misheard this name. karina mckimmie said it on her channel and i thought she was saying “baddalash”, which is literally meaningless, but i was like “cool! checks out!”
Marcia Marcia Marcia I’m sorry what? I just now got bat-A-lash...🤔 I’m telling you I never understand the battle lash name because I didn’t see any battles between lashes.
Lest we forget nyx 'milk' liner in the water line...
And nyx milk all over the lid as a base😕
Ninfa Neuser the worst base ever 😭
Keeva Byrne Idk what's wrong with y'all, I still use that shit as a base and in the waterline regularly and I prefer it over any of the high end shit 😂 (I don't do the natural glam type of make up though, so maybe that's why)
Salina A. Yoooo this was my thing.
oh my gOD
I will always remember silver-haired Samantha with the bellami extensions toned with purple shampoo and powder pink lipstick with love and nostalgia
I would also like to submit, for your consideration, The Balm’s Mary-Lou Manizer. Pre-Becca times.
Yes, this was the best one ever. It still is amazing!
The OG highlight ✨
The original highlighter.
Yes! This!
or mac soft and gentle!
Also when sam’s tutorials were all close ups of her eyes and that purple real techniques accent brush she used in every video but would have to check the brush to remember the name. Good ol’ times
You just accessed a memory I did t know I had omg
Also when Sam used to stack two already thick ass lashes together then challenge herself to put it on in one fell swoop. Good times.
THE ACCENT BRUSH
I still love that brush one of my favorites
i was really hoping to hear “peach smoothie in my crease”❤️😭
Still have peach smoothie in a z pallet somewhere who’s lock is incredible cause it’s powdery AF. somehow hasn’t crumbled into nothingness yet
@@MyWayofEverything I'm very pale and that colour is straight up highlighter orange on me. Was so disappointed lol. Creme brulee though *chefs kiss*
imyourhappydrug Creme brûlée was the sh*t!
Yes!!! And Wish on the cheeks
Highlighters that were popular before Becca’s Opal and Champayne Pop:
MAC - Soft and Gentle
The Balm - Mary Loumizer
To this day I use soft and gentle as blush
I’m so OG, I remember when you were Batalash Beauty. You captivated me with your amazing sense of humor. I totally remember everything you’re talking about 🤣. I have those two of those lipsticks! They are awful and I haven’t followed Jaclyn for a while but I keep them just for the pretty gold bullets lol
1995 I think!! I wanted that lipstick so bad lmaooooo
Amy G YES! That was it. I got rid of those long ago because they were just awful and I couldn’t remember the names.
I still have the lipsticks and glosses Jaclyn created with Gerard!!! 😂
Same dude I remember Sams first reddit post and have been a fan ever since. I was on eyeshadow_sluts on livejournal before that 😂😂
Does anyone remember like 12- 13 years ago when coastal scents was really huge on youtube? It was before makeup geek was a brand.
Julia R yep I remember
Ok anybody else remember red cherry lashes, the "120" color palette and coty airspun powder being the holy trinity of makeup
Red Cherry! That takes me back like...8 years? Red Cherry was my jam
Tragically, I had LITERALLY no idea what I was doing with them and I look back at photos from that time in horror
Coty.... but when it was Cornsilk
Yes and everyone used that 120 with a nyx jumbo eye pencil
Red cherry lashes!! What a memory
Yes! I remember mac lipsticks and nyx round lipsticks were really huge too!
"It was such a toxic time, but I like miss it. It was so exciting."
You sound like you're talking about the Roaring 20's. I get it.
Correction rawring 20's because Myspace and scene girls and dinosaurs/monkeys/skulls/and cherries on everything.
Lip Tars were a moment, also remembered Urban Decay electric pallete
EDIT: honorable mentions: neon lips, peel off lip tattoos(oh god), benefit "they're real" mascara, concealer lips, colored mascara, lit cosmetics glitter, kat von d shade n light, mac paintpots, coastal scents eyeshadows, benefit poreless primer, mac studio fx, nyx jumbo eye pencils...
Ah, lip tars! I loved them. RIP OCC. ☹️
Oh yeah I remember that. Jaclyn hill used to have jars of the occ lip tars
The Gwen Stefani palette used to be EVERYTHING
I remember spending all of my money on $18 liptars and they were the worst 😭
Oh my goodness! I had a highlighter pink occ lip tar that was impossible to ever use up because of the amount of product in each tube. Lol
“There’s just this special feeling for people that love MAC that cannot be replicated by any other brand” - I felt that!!
Sam: MLM
me, in my mind: a mlem 👁👅👁
also I found that picture on kathleen's instagram😂 its from Jan 2015 if anyone was wondering

Michelle Phan
This was my favourite time of UA-cam. I used to be subscribed to many of those channels. Such a good time.
Ohmygod, coastal scents palletes. I remember all of these. I remember finding an eyeshadow tutorial, I was mind-blown. Good ol' days, man.
I remember when Lime Crime (and its not great reputation) was talked about during the Livejournal makeup days. I was shocked when I saw it in Sephora years later. Now excuse me while I go get my walker and tell kids to get off my lawn.
Mac forums on livejournal were the catalyst that got me into makeup!! In like...2005 👵🏼
I loved LiveJournal so much haha
Omg livejournal! Lol does anyone remember xanga? Lol
Honestly lime crime kinda kicked off liquid lipsticks for me.
$7
Get off my lawn 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well to be fair; they are F’ing up ur award winning grass! 🤪🤣
This is so precious, it’s like listening to your big sister tell you about how terrible and wonderful things were when she was your age

SAM. ? WHERE'S THE PEACH SMOOTHIE EYESHADOW? get it together man, you spoke so much about that I still dream about it.
I literally have 3 backups....😐😐
Hahaha 🤣 true!
I was thinking about this the ENTIRE video! I was like where is makeup geek’s peach smoothie!
Yes good old peach smoothie
I'm like 5 shades darker than her but back then in my head any look should start with peach smoothie on the crease lol
I remember The Balm Mary Lou-minizer was THE highlight of prehistoric insta makeup
i still have the mary lou-minizer, it’s so good 😭
You can’tttt forget about the amount of heaviness that was...the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation
That was my jam!!! Also, revlon colorstay!!!!
Omg it was literally like brushing clay onto your face😭
It even sounds heavy.
Rebecca M. Heavier than actual paint 😂
Katie Funderburk girl yessss my combo skin was not having it idk how people could wear it and not feel heavy 😭
I HATE when Sam says she's bad at makeup. She is literally a beast at it
I think what she means is that she's "bad" compared to what she used to do. She feels like she's lost a her abilities from when she was still freelancing.
PODCAST REQUEST: MLM/pyramid schemes
Yes! With an honorable mention of kiki chanel! Yep Sam, the queen of bleending does anti MLM videos now.
Kylie Axel YES
YES while The Dream definitely did a good job Sams humor would make it AMAZING

Yess! Seeing her grey hair photos inspired me to dye my hair grey!
Yup. Attempted to get my hair dyed grey via presenting a photo of Sam to the hairdresser. Ended up just plain ol’ platinum - but it was still fun!
Oh my god that was Sam, wasn’t it???? I had the picture downloaded on my phone because I had such a crush on the grey haired stunner. I didn’t realise it was her until I read your comment- 🤯
I went grey because of her and everyone would talk about it everywhere I went and would take pictures of my hair for like the first 6 months 😂
rlester711 I ended up with purplish- blue hair 😂😂😂😂
Preach it girl! I 100% agree with you that the beauty community was soooooo good years ago. I learned how to do makeup because I watched all of you. Hearing about you talk about these products does take us back to better days lol
I feel like single shadows died when Z Palette melted down (pun intended?).
Absolutely intend your puns! 😄
Omg motives!!! Forgot all about them. I was OBSESSED with their glitter like pigments. This video is just such a trip down memory lane
Hey Sam can you do a quarterly “discontinued favorites” video at this point?
Nikki tutorials told us that Nivia Mens after shave cream was the best primer for under makeup 😂 i could go on and on and ON
Why do I feel like that was not that long ago hahaha or I'm loosing track of time and getting old without noticing🤣
Nivea is still my primer it lasts forever and refuse to spend money on any real primers that end up not working for me 😭
OMG I remember that! And then the like, preparation H cream as primer or something like that?
@@violet_saint Tati with the milk of magnesia and monastat chaffing cream and the HEAT she got because it badly congested peoples pores.
sammmmmmmmmmmmmm the top lip liner looks BOMBBBBB on youuuu
i feel like nars sheer glow was a foundation i saw everywhere, especially with the british makeup girlies
Natalia Soto yes I remember Zoella raving about it!!
That was my jaaaaam because of Tanya Burr and Zoella haha, still a part of my collection tho :)
I still use it ( British girl here lol ! )
I came back to this one recently and it is still such a good foundation
This was my go to in 2013 lol! It’s not transfer proof enough for me now but it used to be my absolute fav
I've been following you since your Reddit days. Your post about the Melt lipstick swatches led me to buy 5 Melt lipsticks over 6 years ago. I still love them so much even though they're like beyond old. I have you to thank for exposing me to the wonderful world of indies. Thanks Sam!
I remember the Mary Lou Manizer highlight as one of the first big names in the highlight game! Great vid, Sam ☺️
I like these videos that revisit old favorites because its more realistic of what people actually have in their collection.
I remember those lipglosses everyone was promoting with a mirror and light from a brand called whiting lightning? or something?
michael todd organics skincare also holy wow
I keep editing this but I wanted the occ liptars so bad!
That was Gerard Cosmetic’s original name lol. That brand was so strange
I totally forgot about Michael Todd skincare! It seems like that’s all anyone used, I desperately wanted to try it...probably best I could never get my hands on it 😂
I love these nostalgic videos you make! It was such a fun time to learn makeup. It was my entire life. I love hearing your experiences!
When you were talking about foundations , what about Loreal True Match? Nars sheer glow? Neutrogena Healthy Skin? 😅
Revlon color stay
And the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer
And the Laura mercier double wear wow
Or that god awful maybelline moose foundation
Moose foundation sounds just bad 🤭😄But the others! They deserve a place on the list too!
Also, i already watched this while i did gardening this morning... and I’m watching it again now because NOSTALGIA. ❤️❤️❤️
MAC soft and gentle was the highlight i remember being a big deal back then.... I still use it today lol it's so beautiful
Same, I just keep coming back to it, it’s so good.
Do you guys remember The Balm -- Mary Lou-manizer? It felt like it was the only highlighter then, it was so popular
I discovered you on Reddit all those years ago and followed you to YT. I used to LOVE your OG looks and remember thinking how unique your style was cause I hadn’t seen much like it before. I loved this video and your commentary... so many “oh yeah! I remember” moments 😂
I think Mary Loumanizer was the highlight before Becca.
So remembered these products!
did I just scroll back 5 years on kathleens instagram to see the pic of you two together..... ur my faves. loved this vid!!
Aino O awww I wish you had posted the link😍
Here it is! It’s so adorable!

Love this method as well
I've been following you since you used to throw your products behind you during favourites videos and when you'd do an eye look that was 80% out of focus as your eye drifted out of frame with a 'wow sam' caption on top.
I remember that eyebrow pomade I was so angry when mine dried up 🙄
It's the same for super pale girls too. MAC has always had the best range of shades. IMO.
Cynthias stylemua I can totally can see that. Some of my friends who have super fair complexions only found things from MAC, K beauty, and later on fenty. Most things showed up pink on their skin. I’m so glad that there is more diversity in the industry now
Omg I think it smells like paint! Honestly still low key convinced studio fix has face paint in it
I needed this video today lol those were the days❤️
You mentioning KathleenLights has made my whole week
Right, I’m sure no one else is asking for this but hear me out: hoodie collection. Please?
Having Sam reference Kathleenlights was like having my two makeup universes collide
I know!!
I only recently started watching you and because of this video I went and looked at your old videos and I'm so shook at how much you've changed, like PURPLE HAIR wow, also the nude lipstick lighter than your skin was also a bold move Haha
But honestly I really enjoy your videos, I love listening to your makeup chats it's so interesting and really funny when you are talking about it 💞
imagine Kathleen and Sam collabing on a video together 🤩 fav youtubers 💖
Giiirl u are throwing be backkk to the past haha! Like everything u mentioned, I remembered were iconic and were famous youtuber’s ride or dies.
Whoaaaa
Duuuude I still love makeup geek shadows. The consistency and blendability is unmatched. I will forever be a makeup geek fan.
I loved the Anastasia “so Hollywood” highlight. That was my shiiiiit back in the day. I couldn’t wait until I was able to order it. Might have been my first online makeup order.
That was my wedding highlight in 2016! I have made sure not to hit pan on it because I love it so much and am keeping it FOREVER
Nicole Miller it’s so beautiful!!
Remember the color “orange soda” it was like THE color. 😂
It still is for me 😭😂
What palette is that from? Sounds so familiar!
@@latifahines3641 the makeup geek single eyeshadow i think, maybe mac actually
Well this is the moment I learned that it wasn't Battle-Lash.
@@yaya-mk3nn i LOVE Karima!!
Marcia Marcia Marcia I’m sorry what? I just now got bat-A-lash...🤔 I’m telling you I never understand the battle lash name because I didn’t see any battles between lashes.
Love how it feels like I’m reminiscing with a friend while getting ready
Opal was the highlight that everyone loved from Becca. Moonstone was my favorite ❤️
That tarte bronzer actually looks REALLY flattering on you! Pull it out more often!
