I'm excited to hear you being excited over the reformulation. Can't justify buying replacements for my Flair & Oceanic palettes but I'm glad others are now able to enjoy a beautiful color story with a workable formula.
I bought the reformulated Flair, Classical Paradise and Paradise Fallen and I’m really impressed with all of them! The color stories are still interesting several years after they were created, so I feel like it was a great move for them to reformulate. I’d love to see any videos on the new versions, now that I’m in the mindset to get creative with them!
I’ve wanted the Oceanic Palette since forever, and now that it’s been reformulated I might just get it.
You and Amyloves makeup are about to have me giving Ace ALL my money. I have the old Flair pallette, HATE the formula. LOVE the color story.

I'd love to see more looks. Their color stories are awesome. I have the Flair and Classical Paradise, and I've only had issues with one color in each. The shimmers worked fine, but I'd love more punchy ones. I might buy the Oceanic palette, since I don't have it. And their new fall palette is pretty.
I've wanted to buy the Oceanic palette and Paradise Fallen palette for ages but I heard the formula had some issues. I wish Ace Beaute had a European reseller. I know they used to be at Beauty Bay but I don't see them there right now.
I’m so flustered!!! I have ALL of Ace Beaute’s palettes and now they are reformulated. I adore their color stories so now I’ll have to re-build my collection lol. Oh well!

I admit they are a bit funky to work with.
You basically need to take your time.
I don't think I'll be buying the reformulated palettes. But I'm happy they listened to the people and put effort into creating a better formula. They have such beautiful palettes.
Yeah they require a bit more elbow grease, I’m happy they reformulated all of them.

As for a bayberry, it IS a real thing. It's a waxy berry they used to use to make candles in colonial America. LOL

I have the original oceanic palette, I love the color story but hate the formula. I just bought the new formula plus the flare and tropical vibes palette's, and I love the new formula, it's so easy to work with

Decluttered my Paradise Fallen, loved the color story but it was so hard to work with. Not sure if I'm going to get the new formula, maybe will wait to see what you think.
Yes,I absolutely want to see more with reformulated Ace Beaute. I always loved the color stories,but hated the formula. If they fixed the formula, it's a whole new brand for me!

Ok so I got my oceanic palette and fell in love with ace beauty! I went back and ordered flair, nostalgia, fallen paradise. And slice of paradise. I got them today and I freaken love them. I cant wait to dive into them
Thank you for this comparison with the Oceanic. I've never had difficulty with the mattes, but have had he same experience witht the metallics. I've been curious about the new formula and I will now re-purchase the Oceanic. It's one of my all time favorites.

Ahh im so tempted to try the new formula these 2 palettes have been on my mind forever but couldn't do it because of the old formula... nobody seemed to like it... so maybe its my time to get them now!!! Or wait till closer to Christmas ❤ beautiful looks milly both were stunning... I have to agree that first look it was probably plouise base... My eyes don't do well with that base as much as I wanted to love it

Ahhh! Totally wish I waited to buy the Oceanic palette now :(. It's one of my favorite palettes because of the stunning color story, but I just couldn't understand how they could screw up making shimmers the way they did.

I have the orginial Oceanic and have enjoyed the mattes in it. I am really tempted to buy the new version I really love the colorstory of it I never used the shimmers out of mine
I am so happy to hear this! The flair palette has one of my absolute favorite color stories, but I've been so torn about getting rid of it because I just could not make the mattes work at all and the shimmers were so underwhelming. I can't wait to pick up the new formula!

Milly I think a company on AliExpress is using your eye photo. Thought you would like to know. Wonderful as always. I have older eyes. Sometimes the nyx glitter primer makes to eyeshadow crease. What is the best eye primer for Indy chunky shadows that work well with mattes too? Thank you
I have old (52 year old) eyelids that are super hooded and very oily. I wear indie shimmers and sparkles every day. I’ve tried almost every primer out there. For me, Nars primer is great for when I want an opaque base or Wet N Wild (my first choice) if I don’t need an opaque base. Pixie epoxy is ok but it definitely creases on me. If I need a reliable hard core adhesive, I like NYX glitter glue best 😉

Are you asking for a primer that works for both mattes and shimmers? If you want something to hold shimmer shadows it will have to be tack at least somewhat but that won’t work with mattes

Oooo what lip is that!? Menagerie or coloured raine?? These looks are gorgeous! I have the Flair, Oceanic & classical paradise but I actually like them? I do know a lot of people have had issues with the original formula though... like a LOT.

Love you videos ^^ its just a shame i bought many palettes with the old formula & now i just find it absurd buy them again for a better formula 🥲 they should've remade them differently with the new formula like Flair II Oceanic II etc and so on, imo >.
But the originals are so perfect idk if they can top them 🙈
