Deputy John Lopes is a true veteran of the Sacramento County Sheriff's Crime Scene Investigations unit, having worked with the unit since 1997. He joined the Sheriff's office in 1992 and has since dedicated himself to serving and protecting the people of Sacramento County. With over two decades of experience in the field, Deputy Lopes has become an indispensable member of the CSI unit. Throughout his career, Deputy Lopes has been involved in countless investigations, helping to collect and analyze evidence that has helped to solve some of the most challenging cases in the region. His work has been instrumental in bringing criminals to justice and providing closure to victims and their families
