Go tubeless Shane, I love it, over a year now without a puncture running 70F-80R psi on 25mm. Works great especially the roughish roads. I check the psi more than what I did with tubes, but so much better overall.
You’ve made my day! Any chance we could get a detailed walkthrough of the stem/stem cover and Di2 junction box wiring? The cabling at 0:07 looks custom as well, not feeding into the frame hole underneath “simply faster”. How did he do it?? Dr S.Lane!
Shane you should try tubeless setup...Have been tubeless since late 2016 from Ultegra Wheelset and now on Flocycling FLO60s all converted to tubeless... used tires hutchinson Fusion 5 and now a ardent user of Schwalbe ProOne TL tires...they are a amazing. Current rig is with FLO60s with 25mm in the front & 28mm in the back both Schwalbe Pro-One TL tires with Orange Seal in it....3500miles and still going strong. The tires do not last like Conti's but they are great from regular ride to even racing (for racing I'll go with 23mm front & 25mm back)...
What's the other bike!? Already looking forward to that, and after that's done, can you do some more vids with Slane, loved the ergogenic aids videos you did, you and Slane have a great rapport that makes for good viewing!
Still no answer for what that friggin’ bolt hole is for between the down tube and the seat tube (above the bottom bracket)?? It’s driving me nuts and there seems to be no answer anywhere on google for this lol
Shane Miller - GPLama yeah i bought that tt mount from wahoo, but its to wide for a narrow setup with my zipp vuka evo bars. Might have a look at that k-edge one tho
They are very comfy, ISM ADAMO best one I have found for my bum. As you rotate forward they support you well in a time trail position, many brands have tried to copy them but need to be careful of the patent. Only bad thing is, they are pretty heavy
check out bicyclerollingresistance dot com, although they're all tested on the same rim and it doesn't have aero data, only rolling resistance and puncture resistance.
problem is that so many guys are obsessed by only one aspect and test parts only to this; but unfortunately most of the tires with lowest rolling resistance completely destroy the aerodynamic of the wheel (search for "boundary layer transition"...), what can cost much more than you can gain through the best rr... makes it really hard to find out which tire is the fastest in real world conditions
Kayvon Touran I believe he said he can ride on those race wheels as theyre clincher tubeless. It’s tubulars that are risky to train on. Puncture and it’s a taxi ride home.
Some races enforce this... which leads to people modifying their road bikes for TT stages, creating their own set of rules.... it's a mess. TT bikes *are* regulated. If you want to win a gun fight, you don't bring a knife.
You two should do a regular to semi regular coaching/ bike tech/ whatever podcast or video.
Love Slane , he is so knowledgeable but yet so laid back at the same time

Shane is a good interviewer.
I really look forward to your getting into tubeless, Shane.
Zipp have had that ski angle adjustment for quite a few years now.
Wow, those brakes remind me A LOT to the good oldschool Campagnolo Record delta brakes.

Stay tuned! :)
The new R5 😉
If we're sticking strictly to The Rules, Dr. Lane drives a ... 76 Oldsmobile Cutlass? Nice bike would be an understatement.
Tri Rig makes some amazing products.
indeed, that's a nice P3... not as showy as a Shiv, but still, really cool...
Those brakes r sweet!
Holy cow. Amazing bikes. I have a quesdion, has he had any problem with Cervelo bottom brackets?
Still no answer for what that friggin’ bolt hole is for between the down tube and the seat tube (above the bottom bracket)?? It’s driving me nuts and there seems to be no answer anywhere on google for this lol
Ask Mr Lane if he polishes his bike as well ?
Bit different than my 2016 P3 TT bike :) I'm running Flow aero wheels on mine.
Bolt hole near the BB i would assume is for a frame specific bottle mount?
Cervelo planned on partnering with other brands to make a integrated storage using that bolt but it never got made.
Could i use a hed jet plus disc rim brake on a cervelo p2 2014?
Its odd that the di2 wires run down the aero bars instead of just routing straight through the bar...
Hi, I am interested in gettino the same Cockpit, can you please help me find it? Thx
Where can we get ENVE SES TT AEROBAR system he has on there? I can't find them anywhere online. Anyone?
Thanks.
They stop making them but you can find them on trisport.
What gps mount is that? Looking for a tt-mount for my elemnt bolt that will fit a narrow extension setup. The one on there looks like what i need!
The original Elemnt came with the smaller mount that'll work with the Bolt + TT bars. Here: goo.gl/CDbYui or a K-Edge one here: amzn.to/2JXD8xh

yep, yep
Can someone explain the rationale behind the two-pronged saddle?
Doodles. Riding on the rivet isn't doodle friendly.

Anyone else have a man crush on Slane?😂
No, just extreme jealousy.
Depending on exactly what that means, I might be in!
bike reviews now???
Cycling / cycling tech / sports tech / other things. Nothing has changed.
Not first but was out riding
Needs Tony Martin style griptape 😂

How are there only 70 views
The video went live only a few minutes ago.
Why can't he train on carbon clinchers?

Only pinarello 😎
is he really a doctor??
Take off front brakes 😂
lol cervelo blah
Giant fan? ;)
Shane Miller - GPLama currently a trinity owner. Previous p3 and p4 owner.
time trail bikes are stupid. everyone should just ride a road bike... everyone is the same and the fastest rider wins. no need for another bike.
Some races enforce this... which leads to people modifying their road bikes for TT stages, creating their own set of rules.... it's a mess. TT bikes *are* regulated. If you want to win a gun fight, you don't bring a knife.
