Hey mate, as you know I’ve owned a 08 and 11 ISF I can honestly say the LSD isn’t really needed unless you track it or like to go sideways a lot, plus my 08 did a 4.42 0-60 on dragy and the 11 4.52. I found the 08 launched harder with the ELSD 08 suspension. I get why you are selling the F especially with the prices being so good and I admire your dedication to your family. I sold my 08 because I felt I wasn’t using it enough and it was a good chunk of money, i needed one car for fun and track which I have now.
As someone who owns an 08 and knowing you owned an 11 too that is good to hear. I intending on completing all the bolt'on mods and absolutely no intention of installing an LSD as it will never see a track and I don't 'drift' it.

I will continue to watch your videos and I know somewhere down the road they'll be more Lexus content at some point. My #Dream also would be to sell my IS for an IS F or for an RC F. I’ve had a great run with the Lexus IS second Gen moving to a few different models…but something has got to give. This economy is making it harder to afford things so gotta make the best decision for us now, since UA-cam is only a side hobby and is very hard to go full time and make a living. I sold the ISF to a mutual friend who is loving it!

I wanted a ISF since 2014 after a friend let me test drove his 09 silver, however do to the financial constrain at the time (my son just 3 years old at the time) and no house/ space of my own. Sport car become the last thing on priority list. Fast forward today, we are expecting the 2nd child and we are blessed by owning a house with low payment. Whatever bit I can afford to spend on "fun" goes toward my new car payment. The only ISF i wanted is MY 2011 and later but you know how pricing on those. I decided to skip the ISF and buy a 2016 GSF Matador Red Mica with 66k miles like 2 days ago, with I am being blessed now. I wish you have the better outcome than mine later in life.

There are a lot of high mileage 2008s out there, and in silver. It’s still rare but I always see them for sale. If it was a different color and lower mileage I would have considered it for the appreciation. Very fun car though!

Why would you trade away Advan RGIII wheels for stock wheels that are super common? The Advans in 19' are literally... no joke, impossible to find. Really confused about this trade.
I loved those wheels but they were used and changed colors like 3 times by the time I got them, and just don't sell for that much used... We figured out a fair trade+cash deal since I knew I was going to be selling this car, and people like to see them "stock" looking.

I just bought an 08 ISF, with 99k miles. Very clean with RR racing intake, headers, circuit werks exhaust and tune. It’s a beast. I paid 20k for mine. Couldn’t pass it up for that price
I wish i could rock an IS F, I believe it's the best made gen IS, then I had the next gen IS and it dropped in quality. And i 6'3 just couldn't fit with family,,, nope too small for me.
Yes needed the money for other house stuff at the time, and that worked out nicely. Then got a loan on the ISF because it was a great deal from my brother, which is the only reason I got it. Enjoyed it for a season but now it’s time to pay that debt off and get ready for the next big steps! It’s all part of a bigger picture. I don’t need to keep cars forever.
The ISF is more 'peaky' power delivery however it is effortless to drive. Depends on how long you depend on keeping both. The 2UR engine in the ISF is much more durable. The C63 you need to be mindful of in no particular order - Corroded head bolts, worn camshafts and lifters, cracked intake manifold, injector failure and worn camshaft adjusters.
It's good torque, but NA V8 power so not the instant torque feel unless in lower gears - the c63 "feels" quicker because of the turbo and v8. But of course the Lexus will be more reliable and last longer, IMO.
