Thank you and great job - if ok w/ you I have a question - I had a Jetmax Throttle and upgraded to a FDS Motorized Throttle - love it! I've been down for a few years so my memory could be off but I recall that the Tiller plugged into the old Jetmax throttle - where does FDS tiller connect now that you have the FDS Motorized throttle. I have the FDS Weather Radar device and it connects to a board (cannot remember the name) that the computer recognizes as a gaming controller. I assumed that would be where it would go but my computer isn't see it. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Chuck
I use a FSC (Flight Sim Center) Motorized TQ. So previously I plugged the FDS Tiller into the JetMax TQ USB Board. Now I connect the FDS Tiller to one of the extra FDS Rudder Pedal USB Joystick Ports. That card is located on the back of the CO PEDAL. Can you explain what the FDS Weather Radar device is?
Hello Pat. Thanks for publishing this great video. I have a JetMax throttle very similar to the one in your video and this video will be a great help to me. I heard you mention Hall Effect Pots, and as my thrust lever pots are in need of replacement, I was wondering if you recall which Hall Effect Pots you used in the JetMax TQ in your video. I'd like to use the same in mine.
Hi there, just came across your channel, love your cockpit, very well done! Working on one myself. Quick question unrelated to the throttle quad…how did you make your seat track/sliders? I’ve been searching high and low for a solution for mine, and seeing yours in this video gives me hope! Would love any info you could share, thanks!!!
@@pat738W they are straight, I custom made the seats. The base on them is about 21”, and then they’ll need to be able to slide back about another 18”, so right around 40” or so is what I’d need a track to be. Right now I have some heavy duty drawer slides I was going to test with, but something like what you have would be optimal.
@@patfuge1157 Sure did! Ended up just getting some linear rails off Amazon and mounted my seats to them and used a toggle clamp to lock them in place, worked out pretty well! You can see them here in my cockpit tour video ua-cam.com/video/4jM7yHkrVXg/v-deo.html

@@pat738W Thanks for the reply - it's the weather control panel vs. what I called it.....thx.

Give me a few days to look it up. Have you watched my full rebuild JetMax TQ rebuild video
Be careful with Hall effect Pots, if you wire backwards it destroys them
Thanks Pat. I've only seen the one in this post. That sounds like a great video for what I'm planning as well. I'll take a look for.
@@pat738W Thanks for the heads up. Appreciate.

Great video. I just finished 3-D printing and assembling my TQ. Love your backlighting. Is the Jetmax motorized?
No it’s not. Sold it and have the FSC Motorized TQ. LOVE IT

I didn’t make tracks, they are supplied by FDS. What seats do you have? Straight or j-rail seats. How long do you need?

@@skytation have you resolved your rail problem? Mine are real Boeing rails
