In today’s episode we’re getting the roll bar mocked up, stumbling across old car parts we bought for this thing (& then forgot about), and finally unbox our BRAND NEW APR Performance wing! We STILL need to finish up the seats, steering wheel, and so much more but its FINALLY starting to take shape. Only question is, what color should we wrap it?! @AlexMartini I hope you read this before racing this car. I also have an S2000 that I have been heavily modifying (molding a genuine M&M Hyperwide bodykit, running work wheels 18x10.5, -9 in the front and 18x11.5 -29 in the rear). One thing I learned is that when you add a massive wing to it that is only supported by the trunk, the trunk will flex over time and have an upwards kink in it. I recommend bolting it to the trunk floor/frame or running a duckbill which your spoon style hardtop already has integrated into it. Hope this helps!

I know the snow pain. I live in Rochester NY. Other then 2 years. The last 40 years I've lived here. We have gotten 6 feet of snow our first snow. Usually drops down to about 10°f. With a wind chill of -30 °f wind chill.
If that gas cap doesn’t work out, you can always 3d print one that works!

In all honesty, once we got the top on, held the wing center up with driveway salt, and stood back, that’s when it all started coming together for me

Wow. I love convertibles. I own one. I love it. They are my favorite. But shit. That looks hot. I would suggest maybe fixing the paint but not changing it. It looks amazing just like that.

@@AlexMartini. Btw. Love love the kit. I have been working on mine for 5 years now. I'm hoping I'll have it the way I want it next year. Full body kit, wing, coilovers, all new lights, 20" rims, rotors and calipers, braided lines, cool air intake, cat back exhaust (not loud but sounds like the power I have which isn't much yet), full competition kicker 12" subs and all other speakers with secondary amp, ngk plugs and wires, up graded fluids, and some body work. It's a 3g eclipse I got for my son. Then he says he didn't want it cause it was a convertible and was too modded. I'm hoping to add a forged crank and pistons, stage two clutch, stage 2 forged cam shaft, e85 swap, and tune. Next year turbo, seats and maybe full carbon fiber everything on the outside (white carbon is the main color with secondary red carbon fiber) and a full lip kit.
As someone who has gutted a cars interior a couple times, it's not too bad
