Peridot Meepmorp that’s normal. I have a pretty deep voice for a girl too and I tried to sing high pitched songs I mean normal pop songs and K-POP songs. But it just turns out to ruin my voice. But I always use male versions so that’s easier. For example I can’t sing little mix no more sad songs cause it’s too high for me so I used the male version.

girl i used to be like that as well in 2019. i have quite a strong voice but it would either be what you said or a softer tone which is nice but not me and sounds weird. you just gotta gradually get more comfortable and soon enough you’ll be more confident :)
Believe it or not, that is the voice others hear.. the voice that we hear in our head can only be heard by us... the reason is the mode of transmission of sound waves... the voice we hear is the one that travels via bone and the one that others(including phones) hear travels via air.. bone density and air density is different, resulting in different voices... due to this our voice sounds a lot deeper and stronger than it is in real life... we find our voices( recorder voice I mean) bad because it is alien to us, it’s either that or you’re truly bad at singing(most likely isn’t the case)

Hack 4: don't record it on phone. Try vocal microphone or apps for vocals recording. Normal phone recording app is built for talking and can't record every part of your singing that is why you sound like chicken. If you can't buy vocal microphone like me try apps or just sing with somebody ❤️ Ps: I know Im antisocial too but I have got two good friends 😅

Hack 4: don't record it on phone. Try vocal microphone or apps for vocals recording. Normal phone recording app is built for talking and can't record every part of your singing that is why you sound like chicken.
If you can't buy vocal microphone like me try apps or just sing with somebody ❤️

Plus when I record my voice without a microphone my voice sounds higher and I sound like a seven year old instead of my actual age XD so whenever my school is like "um yeah you gotta record your voice" I'm just like "welp I'm screwed" because I sound like I told a seven year old to talk for me when everyone else sounds normal. This might surprise people considering I said I sound like a seven year old when I record my voice without a mic, but I actually have one of the deepest voices out of the girls in my class.
