Little Richard's voice is gold even when he's talking.
This interview is hilarious! I've never seen Little Richard interviewed by anyone who knew well from way back in the day.
Yeah it's the best 💗
I love this man. He was such a prominent, yet humble man. He did not care what anyone thought, he was gonna fo what he was gonna do.....and presented his testimony every chance he could get. Love this man!
My my what a great show 😊
Love this show ' Great '
What a unique and wonderful force of nature he was!!!
YES!! He was wasnt he?!
The greatest happy birthday dec5
There will never ever ever be another Little Richard. He had the entire package..charisma, sense of humour, musically gifted, intelligent, flamboyant, etc. Great genes!!
Totally agree!
Yes he was a Wonderful package, full of life and makes you laugh. Love how he made up that song on the spot !!!
@@dreamitable that is because he was a genius.
@@rosettajones1161 genius..absolutely! however, i don't believe this was a "gift from god" as he believed ...i firmly believe this was purely down to DNA...he had amazing genes passed on from his parents and his ancestors..many black people have great strong genes especially in terms of vocal ability, musical ability and physicality. i LOVE black people.
@@Dion_Mustard yes I love being a black woman medium brown complexion. I know most of us also are gifted and very talented because of our Gene's. DNA speaks for itself. I still say All gifts/talents derives from God. It is in all people, but mostly in us as a culture.
Little Richard interviews are like watching the Godfather on TV you just can’t stop watching it because it’s so awesome
I’m on an interview binge. He’s just so entertaining!

Felt like i was in my living room listening to this 💙 so down home.
These two guys really knew the music business, and spoke in a lingo that almost doesn't exist anymore, and look how comfortable they are together, this is real music history!
Such a precious interview. So informative and hilarious. 🤣
Good interview. It was like two friends having a casual conversation.

RIP KING OF ROCK LITTLE RICHARD 💙
Thanks Mr.wright. LR 's music has always lifted me. We will miss him.
Great interview. The fact Richard is laughing along to the ridiculous fake laughter is a testament to the showman he was. He's doing his part for his buddy, and his buddy's awful laugh machine idea.
Thank you for your kind words!
AMAZING INDEED!!!! THE LIGHTING IS EXCELLENT BY THE WAY!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
I'm so glad he to turn his life around and made things right with the Lord. Train a child in the way of the Lord when they are young. He went back to that teaching.

Without rock and roll from the 50s, there is no british invasion or motown or funk, etc. that's where it all began
This is the greatest interview ever many thanks for this 🥰🥰
Glad you enjoyed it!
the laugh track is awesome
The Harlem Blues & Jazz Band (with Eddie Durham) performs at The Waldorf Astoria for The very first Rock ’n Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony inducting “Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Fats Domino, Buddy Holly, the Everly Brothers, Ray Charles, James Brown, Sam Cooke and Jerry Lee Lewis; Non-Performer category were Sun Records founder Sam Phillips and seminal DJ Alan Freed; Early Influence category were blues icon Robert Johnson, country's Jimmie Rogers, and boogie-woogie pianist Jimmy Yancey. Columbia Records' legendary A&R man John Hammond.
Eddie Durham recalled: “I played nine years [with Wynonie and Larry Darnell]. I booked us in Richmond, Norfolk, Newport, Georgia with three bands traveling. Little Richard’s five-piece band; my six-piece girl band, a shake-dancer named Sonya Millburn from Canada, Elaine who had the hit record, C.C. Williams and cuban Freddie Benito.
Little Richard was just recording then and he got hit right after that tour. But I had Little Richard’s band on one side, my band on another side and the girls in the middle, maybe 17 or 18 pieces altogether. We played the opening together. Little Richard would do the blues and we’d open up altogether with it…feature some guys in my band and some girls on the saxes and then onto somebody else and in the end, Little Richard would come out and sing and we’d close the curtain, then open it back up with the girls band, and they’d do a specialty." ❤️❤️❤️🇸🇪🇸🇪
Little Richard,Mr Power House Himself,R.I.P,Bye for now love Alan❤
Elvis, you better move it on over, 'cause "Eyes" is coming and he'll be singing in that lead spot.
Good Golly Mr Gospel, Richard Penniman.
He needs to sing only one or two gospel numbers, and he could get Ozzy Osbourne to throw down his bat, and turn his life over to the Big One.
No.
The king elvis presley doesn't need to move over.
Little Richard loves the king.
Educate yourself and don't listen to haters.
@@bradhuskers yeah king of copy cats
Racist. This is a black and white thing.
Racist.
Poor laugh track. Beyond great singer.
That laugh machine is terrible. It takes away from the interview.
Hey, Mr.Wright .....didn't you use a drummer by the name of James Gadson ....?????.......if so were you aware of his "doowop" recordings on the Federal record label with a group called The Carpets on which he sings lead ??.....they put out 2 ballads each backed with a jump blues one was "why do I " the other was "lonely me" these records are from 1956-1957........he was just a teenager , sounds like Frankie Lymon ......give a listen , they are on you tube !!!!!..................Erik
Remind me of my grandpar
HE WAS AND IS GOD.
That laugh track is obvious.
Pat Boone could not get them little Richard speeded the rhythm so fast Boone could not steal it
NICE SHOW, BUT WHO DRESSED CHARLES??? BECAUSE NOTHING HE HAS ON MATCHES.
