These older barn/yard finds are a lot of fun to get going again. I've done up three early 80's Goldwing's. I did an 84 that had been literally driven into a farm machine shed, parked on a sheet of plywood and left for 19 years. Hooked up a battery and it turned over like it had been shut off an hour previous!! A bath and about 80 hours to clean, adjust, replace, blah blah blah, and it was ready for the road. Unfortunately it was too heavy and too high for my short 70+ old legs. I sold it for a reasonable profit and the new owner is on the road ever chance he gets.
Neat trousers, LoL. I'm 82yo and ridden British and Japanese bikes all my life since the mid 1950s including a time when i was a motorcycle Highway Cop here in New Zealand. The GoldWing was my dream bike, sadly i could never afford one. The closest i got was, i have owned at different times two 1986 Honda CB 750 F2 models complete with full fairing. I just loved those bikes, much more superior to any other bikes i had owned including British Patrol bikes i was privileged to ride during my Enforcement service. I bought a 1982 Goldwing Interstate from a wrecking yard for $175.00 last year. After a bath, a couple of tires and a battery. It looks beautiful, runs great and rides fine with the rear air shocks set to my short legs. My third Goldwing. Started with a 1984 1200, then a 2000 1500. Toured for about 15 years on them. Had a great time. Knew it would run because it's a Honda. Good luck with your project.
Stood outside for 21 years and still looks like that? Couldn't see any rust on the frame or important bits. And it's clear from the background noise that it rains a lot where you are. Impressive quality. Big old project for sure, cool to watch you work.
Holy Frijoles! You are definitely a brave man, taking on a Goldwing. There might be a bike out there that's more of a pain to work on, but it doesn't immediately occur to me what it might be...
Have you looked into a Clymer manual for it. Im amazed your taking this on. I had a 1978 gl1000 with 4 carbs. Fun to synchronize them. Now I ride a 2008 1800. Great bike I've put 150,000 + miles on it from new.
I bought a gl1200 goldwing a couple of years ago that had been stripped down and painted and rechromed and was left in bits for 5 years, the guy couldn’t put it back together so me and my brother took it on, it was a thousand pieces and we had no idea but about 8 weeks later I was riding it around 😀
Nice to see someone just restore a well built original machine without pretending they know more than the original designers and "improve" anything. It's great to see a methodical restoration and replace when necessary and restore when possible. Good luck on part 2 and wish I could still ride, but I'll be there vicariously when you do.
You repair guys never fail to astonish me with your skill. When I first started riding a moped, it was only 50 cc two-stroke and I could decoke the head just by removing four bolts. Magneto ignition and lights. Easy, even for me. But this, at the other end of the scale, would scare me shirtless. On the other hand, I'm installing all the software I need on my new laptop. Experience of a whole career in IT makes it easy for me. Keep this stuff coming and I can't wait to see the finished bike.
There are so many of these on Marketplace, the temptation to grab one and make a project is huge. I just don't have the room, those things are huge normally, when exploded into piles of parts they'd take up a whole bay.
You’re an excellent mechanic and you did a great job tackling all the repairs and cleaning that bike. Japanese motorcycles are just great bikes, so well build and designed.
I’m rebuilding a 2001 Honda Shadow vt600 and that was complicated due to all of the vacuum hoses everywhere! But this is a whole other ball game. Dang! Respect bud!
I'm 14 and I have always loved cars my entire life but now I'm starting to look at motorbikes and I really love goldwings. These kinds of videos are the best
Old Gold Wings last forever. Shadetree Surgeon here on UA-cam is riding one from the 80's firing on only one cylinder and it's his daily rider. 😁His Ducati Multistrada always needs work done to it and the dashboard has all kinds of warning lights lit up. Hehehe!
Excellent video. Love how you're thoroughly going through this bike and restoring. The 1500, to me, was the first legitimate Goldwing. All of my family ride em. Makes me want one...lol. Looking forward to the next video. Good luck on this restore.
I have zero mechanical skills but enjoy watching others resurrect old and abused bikes etc. You remind me of a much younger version of Mustie1! I've subbed to the channel and looking forward to part 2. Greets from the 🇬🇧!
fantastic effort on that goldwing, so fascinating watching you pull it apart. you’ll be a master goldwing mechanic once finished, great work.. big respect 🇬🇧👍
Good video Darrell, I have owned several Goldwings they are good machines. You will enjoy it when you get it going. Not the most easy bikes to work on though ! LOL
I have a 1987 Gold Wing . I'm the 2 and owner and I've had it for over 20 years it has stayed outside only 8 days total ! Because I could not get into my hotel room !
Nice find! But it is not a V6, but a boxer 6 cil. Like the BMW engines (2 cil boxers) and of course the Subaru and VW engines in the beetles. I am riding the BMW GS bikes (1150GS). Looking forward to part 2! Cheers, Marten
you are absolutely correct but yea I knew that I guess it was easier to say v6 lol I probably should have cleared it up though later in the vid, thanks for watching and pointing that out 👍
CB 750's and Gold Wings were my favorites to restore because you could buy them so very cheap, take away all the barn rash with amazing results. Never had one sit for more than a few days and it sold because they looked great.
Men I definitely enjoy your content, keep those vids coming pls. Side note, when do you plan on pouring a slab in that part of your house?, I think it would make things easier for you specially working on equipment so much. Good luck finishing that relic! It is looking promising.

A hell lot of appreciation for your work behind camera.I can see how you enjoy working on this machine.that Japanese machine and it's engineering big namaste to those engineering ❤❤❤❤ Love from India 🍉
If I ever need a serious operation, such as open heart surgery, can I book this guy to perform the necessary. Seriously, I have never seen anybody take apart such complex machinery and importantly, put the jigsaw back together with apparent natural ease with complete confidence in his abilities and selection of tools. He seems to instinctively understand what he is dealing with. Don’t forget that around this time Honda were probably the best, most innovative motive engineers in the world. Apart from the main omission of fuel injection, the Gold Wing was probably one of the most amazing machines available at the time and still stands out today.
G'day ,, The Goldwings certainly are a cool machine , the engines run so smooth, I hear you can stand a coin up on the motor whilst running. Should be a great bike when you finish the rebuild. Great vid ,, looking foward to part 2. Bring it on .. Respect ...!
Incredible transformation Darrell , many congratulations on an impressive video from the UK !.Remember riding a new GL1200 Aspencade and that was pretty awsome but then one of these in the same color appeared in the local Honda showroom for £7,750 which was a fortune back then !.The first episode made it appear a lost cause but you have worked wonders and proved the advantage of reviving ' Honda quality ' !.Enjoy the fruits of your hard graft and hope you and your wife enjoy many happy rides together - good luck mate !.
Wow...that looked like such a daunting project once you got the covers off and let the daylight in. Honda certainly cram a a lot of stuff in there....but you tackled it with such ease and confidence....great job, buddy, really looking forward to the rest of the rebuild...😊👍
Just shows what the panels hide. It looks very busy under there. I thought of buying one about 20 years ago. It could never go back on the road as frame was broken an I would have liked to reframe it. Looking at the work under the panels, I am glad I didnt. I would still be trying to put it all back on another frame. lol.
New subscriber here and must say live how you just tackle this queen of gold wings. The only one I ever rode was a sister of here's and what an experience. Kudos to your knowledge and your great channel
I remember when I was a kid back in the 80s, my friends grandparents had a motorcycle just like this one, same color, I thought it was like a spaceship on wheels, with all the gadgets it has.
Your subscriptions are going to skyrocket. Keep it up. You remind me of Mustie1. Maybe show a little more of the details. Keep the projects to 2 or 3 parts. Cant wait to see this bike come to life. It's gonna pull like a tractor.

Smekám klobouk před tebou 😇 Takový klid při práci jsem dlouho neviděl. Sám když opravuji a to hlavně zahradní traktory , proklínám nahlas výrobce i sebe .
How much did you spend to fix it up? I bought a 2008 Goldwing a couple years ago and spent around $500 in parts. It was pretty neglected and hadn’t run in two years. I probably saved $3000 in labor! Now I have to figure out the problem with the reverse light blinking and the cruise control stopped working
the reverse light blinking is just the switch that is by the reverse lever you should be able to bend the tab on the lever thing so it contacts the switch fully and so it presses the switch all the way in so it doesn’t blink
Hell of a job sir! I just don’t get how someone can abandon a bike like this for 20 years. It must have been worth quite a bit when they first owned it. Some people don’t deserve a Honda. You’re definitely this bikes saviour.
not knowing any backstory: what if the original owner was injured or died and no one else there *could* ride? that's nobody's fault, but selling a bike like that, especially if you don't know where the title is, can be begging for trouble.

What a masterpiece of engineering in 1988. Woah! The Japanese were and are way way ahead of their time. They were never given credit earlier...branding them as cheap and plastic in the earlier years. My grand dad used to say. It's only now people are appreciating them. My dad and grand dad tell me Ferrari copied a lot of engineering of the Honda NSX on to their ferraris and never gave Honda the credit. Same thing with bikes too. The Italians and Germans copied a lot of the engineering and technology from bands like Honda, Maha, Zuki and Kawa.
Well my Dad and Grand Dad told me they didn't. You need to start researching things for yourself instead of believing everything you parents told you. I bet you still believe in Santa and the Easter Bunny.
My father would have loved this if he'd still been alive today. He always had Honda motorcycles. He loved his Honda VF750 and I still remember how excited he was when he bought it brand new. The Goldwing was his dream bike which was the last motorcycle he ever bought. He would spend hours cleaning and making sure "the Wing" was in perfect condition.
What a fantastic machine!!! That gas tank was some pain in the ass though! I think id have used a hammer to put it in like the previous owner 😅😅. Hope all is well.
Had an 89 Interstate I got from a older guy that mildly laid it down. Upgraded headlight and trim lights to to look like a 2000 model. Turned out great
Fantastic project, I'm sure it would do my head in frustration as it's a jigsaw puzzle of parts and the wiring is a bowl of spaghetti. Thumbs up for having the patience.
I remember these things, a mate of mine had one, I also remember hammering down the road in the worst storm I’ve ever been outdoors in, on the back of it, about 35 stone of us plus whatever the bike weighed. The absolute steadiness of the bike in a howling gale was more than impressive.
I just bought 85 basket case wing. Mines fuel injected. Tank is in good shape. Lucky there. Unfortunately the previous motor took the engine out to replace a stator and never got it back together. Been sitting in a barn for some years. Im making a revival series on the tube 👍👍. Ill be following along on this one
I was so anxious watching this video at the start because I have an 89 honda gl1500. But by the end I was like ok, this guys a mechanical genius. Where you at? No one works on these bikes because of all the parts and the 7 induction vacuum systems and the double carb. etc etc.
@@The_Home_Pros Hey brother love your videos so far. If you are going to ride the goldwing much, everyone on the forums says to change the timing belts ASAP, since it's been sitting around and is older.
when i read $200 for a goldwing i thought no way, but you have the skills to do a great job, so even with the cost of parts you won't get burned, & i'm looking forward to part 2. GL with it, hope it all works out.
I love the very early version of anti-dive system on the forks. Reminds me of a similar system fitted to the rear end of a 1972 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. In that it's designed to gently lower the back end of the car under heavy braking. That cause a feeling for passengers more like that on board a speedboat that gently lowers back into the water when slowing down after travelling at high speed, when it gets up on the plane and raises as far up out of the water as possible to reduce drag from the water but still remain stable!!
In the car, the effect is not to cause discomfort to the passengers by them being flung forwards when the driver braked heavily!! In fact( when the system works properly) it actually makes it very hard to tell exactly when the driver is on the brakes! I used to work on a collection of classic vehicles for a chap who would hire them out for filming events and such things! There was a 1980's Camaro convertible with an IrocZ engine and Endelbrock heads that sounded more like a race-tuned Superbike when it went from a burbling idle, then revved up in a split second, and back to idle just as fast!!! There was also a Lincoln Continental Mk IV Cartier-Bresson model, which was a seven and a half litre Shelby V8. There was also an 8.2 litre Cadilac Coupe-de-ville. That was a mighty, powerful engine that, if it was revved hard with the door open, would actually move so much that the end of the door could actually touch the floor. He also owned a nice five litre V8 Pontiac Trans-Am There was also a 1970'sCorvette Stingray which he kept down in London and sadly never got to see or work on!! He wanted something to get his Pontiac noticed more. Because, seemingly, a nice, large capacityV8 wSnt quite enough, so I once fitted some lighting inside the wheel arches, that shone down onto the tops of the tyres, along with a small amount of light that would reach the floor! He had me wire this through a remote control so that he was able to operate the lights from outside the car! He would often be inside a take-away, picking up his order and turn the lights on and off when people walking past got a bit closer than he was happy with. The usual response was for the people to move back from it startled and then try to see if there was somebody inside it?!!!?! He asked me to fit a 'flamethrower system onto the Camaro once, as he wanted to be able to show off a bit more with it! I told him it wasn't needed. Then I showed him a method to force his car into backfiring and spitting a huge flame out of the exhaust pipe. Once he got the hang of how to do that, he used to make it 'spit fire quite often!!! I only know that as I saw him on many occasions and also, the motor spares shop that introduced me to him, roughly twenty years ago, asked me not to teach him that on his other cars,as he had done it outside their shop one day and caused an elderly woman to have a heart-attack!

Had a great time. Knew it would run because it's a Honda. Good luck with your project.
that’s so awesome!!🙂🙂
I also had a 2000 25th anniversary. Best bike I ever owned.
Awesome, I watched with great intensity, brings me back to my younger years gliding through Europe on one.
You are one patient and methodical guy. Nice work!
thank u 🙂
I was impressed that you used a brass hammer and brass drift. That’s definitely the right way.
🙂🙂
Nice, I have a 2020 Honda Monkey with $3000 in mods. And a 2021 Harley Heritage. I’ll be at Sturgis this year with my job, the Vietnam Traveling Wall.
awesome jim!👍
Stood outside for 21 years and still looks like that? Couldn't see any rust on the frame or important bits. And it's clear from the background noise that it rains a lot where you are. Impressive quality. Big old project for sure, cool to watch you work.
It sure does rain a lot here lol😊
Holy Frijoles! You are definitely a brave man, taking on a Goldwing. There might be a bike out there that's more of a pain to work on, but it doesn't immediately occur to me what it might be...
You got that right! these goldwing are a nightmare!!, but they sure are cool!
The Pacific Coast is a close second.
This is the best video about the GL1500 on UA-cam,you go straight to the point and know what you doing,no bullshit.
Keep up the good work.
thank you so much Peter!!🙂 that means a lot brother!!
Nice to see someone just restore a well built original machine without pretending they know more than the original designers and "improve" anything. It's great to see a methodical restoration and replace when necessary and restore when possible. Good luck on part 2 and wish I could still ride, but I'll be there vicariously when you do.
thank u very much
Thanks for taking the time to record and share this with us. Can't wait for the next one.
You bet! Thanks!!
Keep this stuff coming and I can't wait to see the finished bike.
lol that’s awesome. Computers are some thing that I’m horrible at so we’re all good at our own things.
Gasoline is a good
There are so many of these on Marketplace, the temptation to grab one and make a project is huge. I just don't have the room, those things are huge normally, when exploded into piles of parts they'd take up a whole bay.
Lol u got that rite!
You’re an excellent mechanic and you did a great job tackling all the repairs and cleaning that bike.
Japanese motorcycles are just great bikes, so well build and designed.
Thank you very much!
Man, you are a champion, you know what you doing, bike will be so beautiful, when you fix it, waiting for part no 2!!!
Thanks 👍 coming soon😊
I’m rebuilding a 2001 Honda Shadow vt600 and that was complicated due to all of the vacuum hoses everywhere! But this is a whole other ball game. Dang! Respect bud!
lol thanks brother
I'm 14 and I have always loved cars my entire life but now I'm starting to look at motorbikes and I really love goldwings. These kinds of videos are the best
you know a lot to only be 14!! keep it up my friend!!🙂🙂
Old Gold Wings last forever. Shadetree Surgeon here on UA-cam is riding one from the 80's firing on only one cylinder and it's his daily rider. 😁His Ducati Multistrada always needs work done to it and the dashboard has all kinds of warning lights lit up. Hehehe!
hahah that’s awesome
Waiting already for part 2, amazing skills you have indeed!
Thank you very much! Coming soon 😊
Excellent video. Love how you're thoroughly going through this bike and restoring. The 1500, to me, was the first legitimate Goldwing. All of my family ride em. Makes me want one...lol. Looking forward to the next video. Good luck on this restore.
Right on!
Amazing job on taking it apart ... well done
Thank you!
I have zero mechanical skills but enjoy watching others resurrect old and abused bikes etc. You remind me of a much younger version of Mustie1! I've subbed to the channel and looking forward to part 2. Greets from the 🇬🇧!
thank you for the wonderful comment zed it means a lot🙂
A masterclass on disassembling a Gold Wing and its reassemble. 10/10
thank u albert
fantastic effort on that goldwing, so fascinating watching you pull it apart. you’ll be a master goldwing mechanic once finished, great work.. big respect 🇬🇧👍
thank you soo much Gary!!😊😊
200 for that legend bike, that's a win
What a cool find . Looking forward to part 2 .
thank you🙂
waiting for the part 2, i cant wait.... thank you for the video
Coming soon!😊
Good video Darrell, I have owned several Goldwings they are good machines. You will enjoy it when you get it going. Not the most easy bikes to work on though ! LOL
that’s awesome bill!! yes they are a pain!! feel free to let me know if I’m doing anything wrong or any tips as this is my first goldwing
I have a 1987 Gold Wing . I'm the 2 and owner and I've had it for over 20 years it has stayed outside only 8 days total ! Because I could not get into my hotel room !
This was great to watch, looking forward to part 2.
😊 coming soon
Amazing work! Couldn’t believe how you remembered where everything went! Very knowledgeable and enjoyable video.
Thank u very much Douglas!! It’s going to be a challenge remembering we’re everything goes back lol
@@The_Home_Pros Not to worry brother, you cn ask me for anything because i am na official honda superbikes technician here in india, delhi.
What a great video. You clearly know your way around Honda's. Great job and excellent video.
Thank you very much!
Never had one sit for more than a few days and it sold because they looked great.
yep I hear ya brother
Men I definitely enjoy your content, keep those vids coming pls. Side note, when do you plan on pouring a slab in that part of your house?, I think it would make things easier for you specially working on equipment so much. Good luck finishing that relic! It is looking promising.
thank u very much chuggs, I always appreciate your comments🙂 I need a slab really bad and a vehicle lift, so those are on my list just got to figure out we’re I’m gonna build it all and money is really tight rite now, I haven’t been working that much because my heart has been hurting a lot ☹️
@@The_Home_Pros so sorry to hear that, well please feel better get some rest, we surely need you healthy for those amazing vids. 🙏🏻
aw man thank u so much forreal I really appreciate it 🙂

A hell lot of appreciation for your work behind camera.I can see how you enjoy working on this machine.that Japanese machine and it's engineering big namaste to those engineering ❤❤❤❤
Love from India 🍉
Thank you very much!😊😊😊😊
If I ever need a serious operation, such as open heart surgery, can I book this guy to perform the necessary.
😊 thank you soo much my friend!!! Very much appreciated
G'day ,,
The Goldwings certainly are a cool machine , the engines run so smooth, I hear you can stand a coin up on the motor whilst running.
Should be a great bike when you finish the rebuild.
Great vid ,, looking foward to part 2.
Bring it on ..
Respect ...!
Thanks 👍 fingers crossed🤞
Incredible transformation Darrell , many congratulations on an impressive video from the UK !.Remember riding a new GL1200 Aspencade and that was pretty awsome but then one of these in the same color appeared in the local Honda showroom for £7,750 which was a fortune back then !.The first episode made it appear a lost cause but you have worked wonders and proved the advantage of reviving ' Honda quality ' !.Enjoy the fruits of your hard graft and hope you and your wife enjoy many happy rides together - good luck mate !.
thank u very much Rodger 🙂🙂
Wow...that looked like such a daunting project once you got the covers off and let the daylight in. Honda certainly cram a a lot of stuff in there....but you tackled it with such ease and confidence....great job, buddy, really looking forward to the rest of the rebuild...😊👍
You got that right! thank u soooo much!!🙂🙂
I just did the same on an 1986 model. I ran into cooling system issues and stalled after a year of work… ugh Goldwings.
Lol yea they suck to work on
Amazing job you did! Please, keep working on this beauty and give it a ride later.
Thank you! Will do!
Just shows what the panels hide. It looks very busy under there.
I thought of buying one about 20 years ago. It could never go back on the road as frame was broken an I would have liked to reframe it. Looking at the work under the panels, I am glad I didnt. I would still be trying to put it all back on another frame. lol.
lol I couldn’t imagine doing a whole frame!! eventhough I kinda came close to it lol 😊
New subscriber here and must say live how you just tackle this queen of gold wings. The only one I ever rode was a sister of here's and what an experience. Kudos to your knowledge and your great channel
Thanks 😊😊😊
Looking forward to watching this later Darrell!! I'm trying to finish a will it start here 😅
I can’t wait to see your video dave!!
I remember when I was a kid back in the 80s, my friends grandparents had a motorcycle just like this one, same color, I thought it was like a spaceship on wheels, with all the gadgets it has.
they were so cool.. still are
Your subscriptions are going to skyrocket. Keep it up. You remind me of Mustie1. Maybe show a little more of the details. Keep the projects to 2 or 3 parts. Cant wait to see this bike come to life. It's gonna pull like a tractor.
Thank you soo much jamie I really appreciate the encouragement it keeps me going my friend!
Musstie is how he is because he just talks about what he is doing Darrell doesn't do that

I lost a screw for my truck radiator shroud and had to order a bag of 50 to replace 1. 😂 It definitely pays to keep old screws and bolts.
sure does!! thank you 🙂
Amazing video…I had a 1990 one in the UK..had to take it to bits to take the wheels of and get refurbished and new tyres…what a nightmare of a job…and yes..I ended up with screws over (doesn’t everyone)…but what an AWSOME ride…like driving an old armchair…lovely cruiser…spent an absolute fortune on her…but worth it…0-60 in 4.5 seconds…35 miles per gallon & best part of 3/4 of a ton weight…this vid brings back some memories…can’t wait for the next one…thanks😊
that’s awesome 🙂🙂 coming soon👍
Smekám klobouk před tebou 😇
Takový klid při práci jsem dlouho neviděl. Sám když opravuji a to hlavně zahradní traktory , proklínám nahlas výrobce i sebe .

How the hell did Honda get so much stuff crammed into such a small space. This guy has a lot more patients than I have.
man it’s crazy!!
Well done. I hit the subscribe button when you heated those carb boots/isolators up. 🏁🏁💪😎
Thank u very much!!
How much did you spend to fix it up? I bought a 2008 Goldwing a couple years ago and spent around $500 in parts. It was pretty neglected and hadn’t run in two years. I probably saved $3000 in labor! Now I have to figure out the problem with the reverse light blinking and the cruise control stopped working
the reverse light blinking is just the switch that is by the reverse lever you should be able to bend the tab on the lever thing so it contacts the switch fully and so it presses the switch all the way in so it doesn’t blink
cruise control is prob the switch bad on the handle bar or the vacuum solenoid or the diaphragm is bad we’re it hooks into the throttle cable
This guys skills and knowledge at work..is magic to watch..
Thank u my friend!!
Another great video!
Glad you enjoyed it! thank u 🙂🙂❤️❤️
@@OtherSarah2 Yes, I agree. But if the worst had happened to the owner, the son could have simply sold it instead of vandalising it over the years.

Nice work fixing and rebuilding the engine. I have a 1976 goldwing, so I really appreciate you trying to fix it and make it run again....
Right on 🙂👍
What a masterpiece of engineering in 1988. The Italians and Germans copied a lot of the engineering and technology from bands like Honda, Maha, Zuki and Kawa.
it’s crazy!! I love these old motorcycles, atvs..ect
Thanks for sharing!
What a fantastic machine!!! That gas tank was some pain in the ass though! I think id have used a hammer to put it in like the previous owner 😅😅. Hope all is well.

Thumbs up for having the patience.

Great work and video pal. Mix of work, great music choices and pooch petting 😂 looking forward to seeing the completed bike.

I remember these things, a mate of mine had one, I also remember hammering down the road in the worst storm I’ve ever been outdoors in, on the back of it, about 35 stone of us plus whatever the bike weighed. The absolute steadiness of the bike in a howling gale was more than impressive.
That’s awesome 😮
I just bought 85 basket case wing. Mines fuel injected. Tank is in good shape. Lucky there. Unfortunately the previous motor took the engine out to replace a stator and never got it back together. Been sitting in a barn for some years. Im making a revival series on the tube 👍👍. Ill be following along on this one

I was so anxious watching this video at the start because I have an 89 honda gl1500. But by the end I was like ok, this guys a mechanical genius. Where you at? No one works on these bikes because of all the parts and the 7 induction vacuum systems and the double carb. etc etc.

Glad you enjoyed!
That huge car alternator is actually also used as a reverse motor since the GoldWing has a reverse gear.
it’s pretty cool!!
I only know that as I saw him on many occasions and also, the motor spares shop that introduced me to him, roughly twenty years ago, asked me not to teach him that on his other cars,as he had done it outside their shop one day and caused an elderly woman to have a heart-attack!
awesome write up and info my friend!! thank you for taking the time to write that! I really appreciate it my friend!!😊
