Wonderful, wonderful, loved the whole session, all girls. so cheerful. You have inspired me to check out all your products, loving you all from Western Australia . Cheers!! and blessings.
So glad to see you moving away from merino and into the BFL. I rarely use merino any more because it doesn't wear very well, pilling and such. When I spend as much time making my items I want them to wear better than 100% merino does.❤
I could listen to you yarn about yarn all day.... thank you all! Always a treat to have a new episode to look forward to. Just trying to decide what to knit with the new yarn......
I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't quite get the sock knitting Thing! I've got a couple of pairs that have been on the needles for a matter of years... Very happy to see the new KBN and I can't wait to get my hand on the tops to spin, especially that new Burgundy, yum!
hehehe! most certainly - best to go your own way and ignore the hype. Still though - those socks can be addictive, the madness may descend on you yet one day ;-) happy spinning x
Hello Sonja and Helena. Greetings from Sydney Australia. Im so into John Arbon Down on the Allotment minis. We dont have allotments here and I would so love a small vegy patch. The colours are organic and they feel soft. Im collecting JA minis..I have 4 lots of minis so far. I havent tried the Numbers yet. Every 2nd pension day I purchase more JA minis. Perfect wools 💗🧶🧶🧶
hehehe! thats so lovely to hear - we are really proud of the way all those shades turned out. I love my Down the Allotment jumper, so pleased to hear you're enjoying your minis. And one can always start small with a few pots of herbs on a windowsill. xx
As always, so relaxing to knit and listen to your lovely chats about gorgeous John Arbon wool! I love Sonjas sweater 😍 please share the pattern name and colors 🤗
Oh thank you, I think it might just be my most complimented ever item of knitwear. ;-) the pattern is by James N Watts and was published in Pom Pom Mag. its called Streamers: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/streamers and the yarn is our 2023 special, Down the Allotment. I used Herb Garden / Potato Patch / Borlotti Bean / Cavelo Nero / Purple Sprouting: www.jarbon.com/product/down-the-allotment-yarn-limited-edition-mow-specials/ think there are loads of lovely colour combos to choose from though! x
@@JohnArbonTextile Thank you, it went into my fav list immediately, I’ll keep the colors in mind when my next JA order is due. I just got the golden black of the sun with some indigo dust, or pollen as alternative CC, for Jennifer Steingass silverlining sweater to cast on a Christmas eve … it’s my gift to myself … just waiting for a new amount of leftover top boxes ❤️
oh thanks! it is our Down the Allotment special in the shades Borlotti Bean, Cavelo Nero (MC), Herb Garden, Potato Patch and Purple Sprouting. here is a link to the yarn: www.jarbon.com/product/down-the-allotment-yarn-limited-edition-mow-specials/
