03. Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault - Realistic Difficulty Walkthrough - Makin Atoll: Nightmoves

- Welcome to my HD guide for this World War II game in Realistic difficulty. In these videos I complete all hidden objectives and hero moments. They also provide you with a full storyline with all cinematics.
In Realistic difficulty enemies are smarter and more accurate when shooting. You will also get into dying status after only one rifle shot, so you need to learn how to cover properly and interact with your team more. Also for the most part of the game your paramedic has only one med pack, so be careful. A way to conserve ammo is to pick up enemy weapons when you're going to be shooting from a spot for a period of time, then when you have to move, retrieve your own weapon. I use this tactic because the American weapons like the M1 Garand, Thompson SMG, are stronger and better than the enemy weapons. And make sure you don't miss any ammo pickups.
I will also upload in a different playlist all the supplemental videos that come with the game, about the WWII and the making of this game. Make sure to watch in HD and I hope you enjoy my walkthrough.
NOTE: In the Guadalcanal mission, even if you complete all the hidden objectives and hero moments, in the medals section you'll get only 2 of 5 medals.
Hidden Objectives and Hero Moments for Makin Atoll:
Hero Moment 1 - Blow up transport truck with AA gun before it unloads.
Hidden Objective 1 - Blow up radio tower before the call for reinforcements.

Gosh, if only they made a remake of this game with enhanced graphics, I'd play the shit out of it again.
I still play the shit out of it, our first arma game.

i loved this game as a 10 year old
This is one great game. I miss it.
+MBOmnis Free on Origin's On The House system right now :>
Jon Asgaeroth Yes. I just got it :D
I wonder how people love this game so much.... For me, it remains on the worst fps games i ever completed. More than 75% of the campaign was on the same old jungle, as if never changed, glitching running german soldiers (when trying to stab) with a speed over 1000 miles per hour sometimes, very very, veryyy weak feeling weapons... I could headshot the enemy with my sniper and only the helmet would fall, useless tactics button. I know that my team is not suposed to do the job for me, but i can´t recall any of my mates killing one single enemy soldier through the entire campaign. Graphics weren´t as great as other 2004 video games, like half life 2, doom 3, far cry,... I mean, after one of the best fps i ever played (Allied Assault), this is by far, the most disappointing game i ever played. I celebrated when i finally finished the campaign. I came here to see if i would like this game better if i played once again, but this video reminded me all those things i hated about the game.
@@hltds Very interesting comment. I also felt the same at the time I was playing it. Nevertheless now I find it very challenging and would like to play it again. Evrything you said is straight to the point but the atmosphere of the game is still there, especially Tarawa. I try to consider this one hard core. I hated the most these first levels when you have this stupid rifle and I played it on hard, then realistic. Afterwards I found out you could exchange your rifle for sniper right on the first Nightmoves level. You need a lot of patience and brains for this game. Atmosphere is there definitely.
@@jhutfre4855 Thank you, it is always nice to find someone who looks deep into the game and won't simply say "Best game ever" all the time. Medal of honor is a nostalgic frenchise for all of us and because of that, people tend to blur the flaws this franchise had. Like you, I played this game on the hardest mode and perhaps that was the step 1 for hating it so much. I always look for a challenge and therefore, I look to play fps games on hard levels. But playing this specific game on hard difficult was a rough time for me. The japonese soldiers would shoot at me from any random direction and I could not tell where the bullets were coming from, because of the dense forest that you play through basically the whole game ffs. Then, from nowhere, a japonese soldier running faster than ulsain bolt, with a bayonet towards me and glitching... Maybe after your comment I should try it again and look at this game with another perspective... But just the sight of it makes me "NO NO!". Video games are supposed to be funny but as the consumer, I had ZERO fun playing it and only finish it because I wanted to complete the whole MOA saga
Very clear and smooth gameplay, you are moving, shooting look like in the real fight! Well done!
This being medal of honor, at 4:04 we were all expecting the guy with the BAR to get fucking sniped
Yeah, me too! : )
I love this game call of duty world at war and medal of honor airborne
+Orlando Ocasio Me too. Would you like to see those games in this channel? Did you enjoy my gameplay?
First I wondered why the Japanese sniper rifle had the scope position so much to the side but then I realized that it was probably a clever way of leaving room to the iron sights so shooter could use them easily at close range.
Russians have used little bit similar tactic with their scopes on PU sniper rifle and SVD Dragunov, they just mounted the scopes higher than usually.
The British did the same for the Lee-Enfield. It also allows for stripper clips to be used instead of single-round loading.
Gunner193
Didn't know that. Thanks.
I think it's more because it would take a ton of time to load bullets one by one which is why the scope was placed a little to the left part of the rifle
I'm hearing Kakashi's voice
Hi man I found a secret in the last part of this episode you can press f in a machine and the machine will destroy the radio tower! and behind it there is an anti aircraft!
man thanks, i needed this! i couldnt get the planes, i didnt know why! great help!
You're welcome!
Randomfellaontheinternet
Lol played this game when I was 7 years and still love it
I've gotta see this again, it gives me the childhood vibes
"tommy, come scratch by balls"
Banzaaaaaaai!!!
at 9:56 and during the game, they keep repeating something like "sagase".
do you know what they are saying or can find out?
many thx! :D
+VIOLONISTUL Sagase roughly means "Go" but it depends on how much emphasis behind the word when you say it. For example if you say it rough it roughly means "GO!" but if you say it more casual it can mean "Fetch that for me" but also "Find it for me".
BibikiTV Thank you! :D
Love this game!
just ordered this game on amazon for 5 bucks :)
unchartedNightmare but its free on Origin.....
The campaign scenarios of MOHPA is actually more and exciting and preferable than the pacific campaigns of COD WAW. It's a pity we don't get to see much of WW2 games based on the Pacific theater.
19:46 When realistic means artistic. Good old times.
The best game of the WWII I've played for the good plot graphics efect sounds all in general now one like this but against german soldiers it would be great
Great Video!
This brings back some good memories. I love this game, and really enjoyed your playthrough.
It would be awesome if you could do a similar playthrough of Call of Duty: World at War.
+Arno Crafford I'm glad to know you enjoyed it. I'm trying to get my hands on the game. If I get it, I'll most likely upload it.
Jack Doyle play the call of duty with the Russians
2:57 why the hell did we bring a rookie for anyways
hey what did i just say?
"NOTE: In the Guadalcanal mission, even if you complete all the hidden objectives and hero moments, in the medals section you'll get only 2 of 5 medals."
Not quite. If You install a Patch 1.2 to the game, You will be able to get the other three. I know, I tried it out, it worked. The three medal for Guadalacanal are The Legion of Honour, Faciat Georgus and the Silver Star.
Did you patch the Origin version? I tried and it didn't work :( It says it couldn't find the game installed
I do not have the Origin version. I have one of the very first DVD version, ones that were sold in shops, with Polish subtitles.
So maybe this works only for DVD version, or there is another tactic for other versions - I do not know.
Yeah, I found my old copy and installed the Patch 1.2 and I obtained the Guadalcanal medals :D thanks!
Hello, I have a problem
How can I get all the medals for played difficulty if at all possible to get it?
I've already finished the game on easy, medium, hard and realistic, and unfortunately was not saved
Thank you
I think the only way to get all four of them is to complete all four campaigns, but create a Save File for Final Seconds before the game ends.
I have three such separate saves, and thus I can confirm I did complete all but Realistic. And I don't think I want to do that...
LOVE THE GAME LIKE IT ACTAULLY LOOKS LIKE (GOOD OLD MEMORIES)
For FREE on Origin!
+Rafael Bernardi yeah!
Dorian Herault i cant install the game. talking with someone from support right now
:(
Bug from origin maybe
Dorian Herault i fix it.
+Rafael Bernardi still free on origin lol "on the house" lol lies 1 month
I had this game 3 years ago I sold it to my friend and now I'm re buying it
Don't! You can get it for free on Origin. Just download their application and go to "On the House" in the free games category.
Jack Doyle oh thanks man !!!
My childhood in 30 minutes...
this is so much better than cod
nice video bro
Boy could they make a ww2 game back then. Historically accurate and fun. I would say remake it but I know they would find a way to ruin it with political correctness and historical inaccuracies. Too bad we can’t just fix the graphics and leave everything else alone. Still a damn good looking and fun game!
I would say the graphics and gameplay are better than Call of Duty we have today....
they are
i agree the graphics gameplay even story even character to MOH pacific assault is so much better than COD WW2
@@mikeehrmantraut1899 Also more historically accurate for the most part, Marine Raiders are correctly using Springfields instead of M1 Carbines and also are using Garands alongside Thompsons.
Just started playing this really enjoying it so far
Hi Shiva. I don't know about that problem in MOHPA. I had it in Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City and it was fixed with a patch. You should check out the web for a patch for MOHPA. But first make sure you installed it correctly.
Have a nice day and thanks for watching!
You can go back to the settings and activate the hud. The amount of damage taken from a hit will be the same, and also the A.I. stays at the same difficulty level. In other words, it's still realistic difficulty but with help from the hud. Try it yourself.
Thanks for watching!
Nostalgia 😢 Hello from Ukraine
You have the right to doubt, but that is a common bug or glitch in the game. It happens some times in these videos. Thanks for watching!
nice I like it
i remember before this game came out the screenshots were amazing, to bad they were only renders and nit what actually came out, but nonetheless a great game... not my favorite but a good game.
You can use the crosshair to aim and the weapon's sight too, which zooms a little bit, but it's slower to look around. That's apply to every weapon. In the other hand, you can't sprint, normally you run, and there's a key for walking.
That Direct X lightmaps :D
I love how new guys were still called boots lol
I like that you play like a actual marine would do it or like in the show pacific not running and gunning right in there face
I liked playing this game. I was in eighth standard
16:30 Thanks for the heads up captain obvious but, the ENTIRE ISLAND is covered in TREES my dude.
I love how he shoves the stripper clip in anyways
>realistic difficulty
>japanese soldier survives an explosion by standing on top of the gas barrel
>Japanese man survives atomic bomb by jumping in the air and doing a backflip
Wow you are good! It's just that my screen is all blurry but yours has the cool graphics than being all foggy like mine lol
Alguien sabe qué botón sirve para usar la mira del snipe? :c
I love that game. I beat it in an hour.
Sooooo nostalgic man!!!!!!
I never played this back in the day, and it is free on Origins right now. It looks like it hasn't aged well though.
Is the best video
+CharleneB1203 Yes, it's one of my favorite missions too.
I wish someone would come out with a game engine that would allow you to have these graphics, but utilize modern day animation, AI, VFX, and audio works combined with the larger storylines and greater map sizes of the PS2'ish generation of games, give or take. I actually miss games that had graphics like these, more single player driven... 80's gamers grew up on pixelated arcade type games, I grew up on the PS1 and PS2 generations of videogames.
the marines only had Springfields at Guadalcanal and we took it but very hard fighting and PS I love the m1 garand
+Orlando Ocasio The M1 is my favorite, but I'm a big fan of bolt action rifles too.
great playing
you can pick a sniper from one of the sodiers in the beginnig, it makes you life more easy
very good
Kind of bullshit that you're given an M1903 Springfield while everyone else has those pretty modern M1 Carbines
idk but makin attol scene at moh pa is realistic better than cod waw :/
The force gungun
When you use the weapon's sight it zooms a little bit.
Do you mean at the end? Check out the hidden objective in the description. If you destroy the tower soon enough, they won't be able to call for reinforcements.
If it isn't for that, just let me know where in the video is what you're refering to.
you play like a real soldier ^^
***** Thanks!
+natiphan Would you like to see more games like this on my channel? Any suggestions?
*marine
my kind of game bro!
tus videos son geniales
9:57
BANZAAAIIIIII!!!

Aah good memories
That must be one of those new-fangled Springfields, seeing as how you can put the whole strip clip in with the ammo. (sarcasm alert)

This reminds me of sempefi the mission in cod waw
Always grinds me gears seeing them load a stripper clip directly into the gun like that.
Let's go marines!
fodastico meu mano xou esse jogo cara

I still have fully working original disc version and code for this.
17:25 Funny how this gun fire like a mg42

JackDoyle93 In NA? Im plat 2
JackDoyle93 I am trying to pass the Guadacanal phase in the part that we have the port and bombed and we have to go back.
***** My NA account is only lvl 16. I play in LAN.
JackDoyle93 I play in LAN too! Pasame tu cuenta :D o agregame soy Gck Peinf
My favourite game... Not like that NEW MoH
also my favorite and the best WW2 series i ever seen
Why did they give you Springfield? Historical sources that I consider reliable, indicated American forces were relatively impervious to Japanese banzai attacks because almost no American soldier had bolt action piece of garbage but at the very least semi-auto such as M1 Garand.
Cybernaut76 in the early time of the pacific conflict, on guadalcanal, the marines join the battle with only the old springfield.
firedrap Oh dear...Springfield meant you better pray there won't be a banzai attack against your unit and that you better not miss if a Japanese officer with a katana or a Japanese soldier with a bayonet was just in front of you.
mody fahmy If only a small percentage of American troops had Springfields, that would explain the lack of effectiveness of banzai attacks against United States forces. In China, banzai attacks served the Japanese well because most Chinese were armed much worse than Americans: they had bolt action rifles at best. That is what some historical sources say.
+St. Petersberg HEY! The M1903 was a great weapon, by WW2 she was outclassed by the M1 Grand yes but in her day, she could kill with the best of em!
the 1903 serviced till Vietnam as a sniper rifle it was a very accurate gun I still have my granddads
1:26 u-boats fuck yeah
Hamburger is spilled i repeat hamburger meat is spilled what does it meen
Good.game good game by
What's the difference between this game and the Director's cut version.
