04. Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault - Realistic Difficulty Walkthrough - Makin Atoll: Stealth Jungle

- Welcome to my HD guide for this World War II game in Realistic difficulty. In these videos I complete all hidden objectives and hero moments. They also provide you with a full storyline with all cinematics.
In Realistic difficulty enemies are smarter and more accurate when shooting. You will also get into dying status after only one rifle shot, so you need to learn how to cover properly and interact with your team more. Also for the most part of the game your paramedic has only one med pack, so be careful. A way to conserve ammo is to pick up enemy weapons when you're going to be shooting from a spot for a period of time, then when you have to move, retrieve your own weapon. I use this tactic because the American weapons like the M1 Garand, Thompson SMG, are stronger and better than the enemy weapons. And make sure you don't miss any ammo pickups.
I will also upload in a different playlist all the supplemental videos that come with the game, about the WWII and the making of this game. Make sure to watch in HD and I hope you enjoy my walkthrough.
NOTE: In the Guadalcanal mission, even if you complete all the hidden objectives and hero moments, in the medals section you'll get only 2 of 5 medals.
Hidden Objectives and Hero Moments for Makin Atoll:
Hidden Objective 2 - Find the documents in the hut by the sea plane.

This move seemed so cinematic to me with it's soundtrack and effects, I especially loved the changing menu screen with the different tents and radio broadcasts
I will. I'm not a native english speaker. That's why, right now, I'm working in my accent and I'm working my way to fluency.
Thanks for watching!
Ah, the days when making a video game meant actual _effort_. Never played this one myself, but I loved screwing with the AI in MoA: Allied Assault. =D
its free on origin....its great..i highly recommend it,you start out at Tarawa...get wounded...and then it goes back to 2 year earlier...at boot camp...you complete boot camp...and then your off to pearl harbor....it gets attacked..you have to rescue sailors who are wounded..take them to a medic, and get on a pt boat...you shoot down some planes with 2 lewis guns.....get aboard the USS Nevada...keep it from sinking..rescue the captain.....get to the deck of the ship, get on a 50 cal. mg..shoot down planes...it gets destroyed.....get on an actual AA turret...shoot down planes...and once you accomplish that..a cutscene occurs...where you are on a submarine...you get on an inflatable boat...land on guadacanal..at nighttime...and then..you battle japaneese troops..so yeah....its now free and I highly recommend it.
Watching you play this took me back.
When i got this game for christmas it blew my mind. In my opinion way better storyline and cinematic moments than in the call of duty counterpart. Also following one group of soldiers is in my opinion better than jumping between characters.
This game made you play sequences over and over again even on the easier game modes.
I hate what today action/egoshooters have become. You shoot at an endless stream of AI soldiers who are incompetent and dull, infinitive ammo and a stages where the only way to win is to charge thru the enemy fire to make the game stop spawning new enemys.
Nobody cares lol.
You suck anyways.
@@gahler8552 um what s going on here?

@@gahler8552 um ok

the smg your character is holding in real life never actually worked
The Reising M55
@@jeffcarroll1990shock yes it jammed so much so they resorted to using Japanese weapons over it if they could not get an American weapon it’s the reason early in the war there was a shortage of Thomsons in the American military because the m55 was supposed preform the thomsons job because it was cheaper but on every front of the early pacific army and marine units ditched them because just loading could jam it so units had to be rearmed with Thomasons weapons and early stens for American units working with uk forces
@@kevinkocher9347 No offense, But I had a difficult time reading your response due to the lack of sentence structuring.
@@jeffcarroll1990shock During the Solomon Islands campaign in short the reising m55 was dropped in favor of guns that actually worked
Great video - I'm impressed! Keep it up!
IRL Makin Atoll was cleared of Japanese forces by this point.
So either the Marines did a terrible job or the Japanese are stronger than expected.
@@jeffcarroll1990shock what?

How is it that they shoot right at you (4:24) and you don't get hit?

I've noticed that grenades don't go where you throw them. It's mostly too far or to the right or left of where you aim.
This is the Director's Cut edition.
Thanks for watching...
where can i get a copy of the game? i want to play it again so bad.
cool
You can set it back on during the game, if you want. I didn't intent to play in the hardest way posible, just in realistic difficulty.
Thanks for watching.
What recording software are you using?
+Shane Jackson At the time I was using Fraps. Now I use Dxtory.
Just spray and pray
Don't take your time to aim and fire the weapon in short busrts.
Do you have the director's edition of this game?
why you never use a scope
Na koje dugme se zove. Medic.
You forget that in realistic difficulty you don't have a HUD :/
Thank you tommyg770
Sorry I couldn't answer you. Somehow I skipped your comment. Thankfully tommy g770 was there to answer.
Thanks for watching!

I have played both version of this game English and translated by EA in Japan. The Japanese version is completely different. Because Almost All of lines of Japanese are deleted or replaced to other lines. All the lines about emperor and country are deleted for some reason. idk what it was...
is jack 4 misson im ya is a dad 2 misson
Nice game brother... But, over down you reload weapon mania... Fire you weapon and over you magazine or reload you magazine every and you take every magazines slow slot.... This is one game but, play in difficult mode this not all for the true war =/
This is my tip brother =) I see you in the true war one day!
Bruno Monteiro Please work on your english.
Joseph Upton Please work you portuguese.
Bruno Monteiro si
+Bruno Monteiro You make some good points in your comment. I try to play my games more realistically nowadays.
+Bruno Monteiro it is please work on your Portuguese. XD good god.
I hate springfield
I'm a Mosin-Nagant man myself.
What weapon did u have?
Its called a reising sub-machinegun, only the marines really used them, even then they hated them
+tommyg770 Damn things corroded all the time in the Solomons.
+tommyg770 weren't the marines the main force in the pacific while the army went to europe to fight the nazis or is this just a stereotype?
That's a fair question, the US army was fighting in the Solomon's at the same time as the marines, they were even issued the M1 Garand before the Marines were, I think they cooperated in campaigns but not side by side. The Marines were proud of making do with what they had, the Navy not being too concerned with what the guys on the ground used as long as they had shells for the cannons on their ships.
