- Edmonton Elks HC & GM addresses the media at Commonwealth Stadium.

I was stunned when Jones survived to coach this season... now, I'm beginning to believe this organization is not interested in winning. How this guy has kept his job is beyond understanding. I don't get it, maybe there's some kind of tax deduction the individuals in ownership are pining for, literally deserting the fan base.

Sure, a loss is a loss. But Elks fans need to see past this. We are SO much better than we've been in the past. I think we are in position to see a winning streak start! Yes, those early games might be squeakers, but the points differentials between last year and this year don't lie. The Elks are MASSIVELY better than they were a very short time ago.
Folks forget how tough it is, in the rarified air that is, playing Professional Football at a CFL level. Small changes can make MASSIVE differences! I see wins coming VERY soon!
MBT has been great ao far. It's definitely a huge step up offensively from previous years, Defensively needs a few tweaks. Finishing strong is the issue.
Yea and pepole forget that WHERE STILL 0 AND 4 LIKE COMEON and we still have to play hamalton twice and otowa next week but after that we play bc witch dosent go so well then we play the stampeeders back to back witch they have improved alot over this year and should be in the hunt for 2nd in the west and a shot at a home playoff game then we have winipieg witch I'm guessing that they will hit thier stride by September then we play saskatchewan witch will also probobly be in a dogfight for 2nd in the west with calgry or winipieg for a shot at a home playoff game then finally we have toronto witch might be resting thier starters but even then it's a tall task so if we can't win one of these next two games them we might have an 0 and 18 record by the end of the seson or atleast a 2 and 16 record if evreything goes right what a joke

Start Tre Ford an the team will adjust back to. What was working last year. this jus makes no sense that you wont give such talent the chance to lead. There mustbe bad moral in the locker room due to the team not happy with Tre Ford not giving a fare chance on the team to lead.
Defensive unit is terrible. Wont quit? They need to fire him.
