Hello my friend. How are you?
    I need your opinion, please.
Is this ebl smart charge better or energizer universal charger.
Both of them are for aa.aaa.c.d.9v battery charging.
    Help me to choose, please?
Also are eneloop rechargeable batteries better or energizer?
    Thanks

      Hi Abu,
I am well, hope you are too!
I tried a few including energizer and this is the best by far in terms of speed of charge and reliability.
I used eneloop barriers in an office full of wireless keyboards and mice and noticed they were keeping the charge longer than others including energizer. I hope this helps you decide. This is my personal experience. Thanks for reaching out! Fran

IT works with majority of brands. Yes, I have tried Amazon basics. but those batteries don't last very long. Mine after less than 12 months were to be replaced. I gave up with amazon basics batteries for my professional equipment. Get duracell recharchable, then they can last at least 2 years.

Why is there no on/off switch? When plugged in the LCD remains lit at all times even if slots are empty. Yes it's design with many important safeguards but but they overlooked a power switch or at the very least a timeout for the display. Or is this the intended design? What am I missing here?

@@fransolochannel I just don`t trust things made in China. My charger works so far. The seller (on Amazon) backs the product and quickly replaces bad batteries/chargers.
I buy a lot of portable radios and quality control is terrible in China. Not only that but Chinese companies rarely seem to take pride in the products they sell and will try to pass off pure junk as a quality product.
Many times the first batch of product is made from quality components but then they`ll switch to the cheap stuff to save money. Just don`t leave this charger unattended while using it...

Hi Fran, unfortunately I misplaced my manual for mine so I'm hoping you can help me out with something. It seems like the 9 volt charging circuitry is entirely separate from the rest of the circuit that interacts with the LCD screen and such, because 9 volt charging uses either a red or green LED light and doesn't involve the LCD screen at all. So I'm not sure if the 9 volt bays have the same overcharge protection as the other cell bays do.
Do you know if the LED light turns green specifically when it is DETECTED that the battery is FULL, or is there a set timer that charges for a certain amount of hours whether or not the battery is full, and then turns green when the timer runs out (similar to how a typical 4-bay AA/AAA store-bought charger that plugs directly into the wall works)? In other words, is there any danger of overcharging the 9 volt batteries if they're left plugged in for a long time?
If you're not sure that's okay, thank you so much!

      @fransolochannel  4 роки тому

      Hi Xyspade,
Sorry for the late reply. Coming back from holidays.
I haven't yet tried 9V batteries, but I believe for what I have read, that 9V are also protected once they are fully charged turning the led green.
I have left my batteries charging for a month forgetting to unplug the charger, and on my way back, they were fine and fully charged. I was exp[ecting to find them boiling hot, but on the contrary, they were room temperature, so absolutely fine.
      Very happy with the charger.
      Hope this helps.
