The two instructors are amazing. the instructions are so easy and simple to understand the moves look so simple becz they do such a good job. pls let me know who these instructors are as I would LOVE to follow more of their lessons vids,, THANKS SOOOO much. u guys are AMAZING dancers... keep making more vids like these...
Hello. Thanks for sharing this video. But I find it hard to follow the basic step for ladies. In particular, I don't understand how to move the butt. I am told that the butt makes waves upward along the spine, not like bachata in which it moves from side to side. But as I watch video, I feel like it is moving from side to side. Could you please help me out? Thank you in advance.
Hao Dinh The way they taught us is that you basically perform a capital "D" shape with your hips. Dropping down (flat part of the "D") and pushing out as you start your step. On the way up as you finish the step, you bring in your hips back under yourself (making the curve part of the "D"). The hips do naturally sway to a side based on the foot you step on.

Its upsetting to see this...I am from Angola and this is not kizomba is a mix of lots of dances bachata, souk, tango, merenge....with wines..but ones again is not kizomba. Not trying to upset anyone but people do not know kizomba so the believe thats its okay to trash a whole country culture by turning in to this. This sooo bad. you need to hold ur lady like u owned her then direct her no no no. just stop. the essence of the dance the elegance is lost no rhythm.

En muchos lugares, sobre todo acá en Venezuela, venden todos estos movimientos como Kizomba; Los instructores quieren mostrarse como expertos en la materia, diciendo a los alumnos que todos esos pasos son de Kizomba cuando realmente no es así. Lo peor no es eso, si no la ignorancia de los alumnos. Los pasos no son malos, nada de esto esta mal si quieres bailarlo; incluso a mi me gustan los movimientos. Pero no promocionen esto como Kizomba porque esto NO ES KIZOMBA. Esto es una fusión de varios géneros y estilos de baile Investiguen que es Kizomba, Tarraxa, Semba, Souk etc. Y traten de ubicar las grandes diferencias. El Son es son, La Salsa es Salsa, La Bachata es Bachata, El Mambo es Mambo y la Kizomba es Kizomba.
