Fortunately this is only moderate turbulence. If the turbulence were severe, it would be difficult to even operate the touchscreens, and baggage compartment contents and galley food carts would be loudly banging.

If it’s like this for the entire flight it must have been quite unpleasant , imagine having meals and going to restrooms .. I recently flew from Seattle to Singapore and baring a few bumps over Philippines the flight was quite smooth 😅

Maybe it would not be so stressful if you knew why there’s turbulence. You should watch videoes on UA-cam made by captains, explaining everything , when one know that things happening up in the air Are actually natural, then it is easier to relax. Turbulence is caused by wind

I had some experience back in 2018 with a Japan Airlines 787 going to Narita, It was something like this then the Dreamliner made a turn to the right, then the left, before resuming its original path. We were still somewhere far off the Kamchatka Peninsula, if I can remember, and we weren’t descending yet. Then again, in 2023, we had something like this, just after sunrise approaching California, but I didn’t care, and went along with my breakfast despite the turbulence while watching Gran Turismo, the Premier League 22/23 review and the only available My Hero Academia episode.
