I am not an Nigerian but when I was a very young in Yamoussoukro (Ivory Coast) in 1965-1966 (my mother’s record favorite) and it became mine favorite. I am in California (I am in my 60s in age now) but I still listen to Sir Victor Uwaifo's, Chief Stepehen Osita Osadebe's, Prince Nico Mbarga's etc works.
My first favorite songs from V. Uwaifo:
    ▪︎Do Amen Do 🙏♥️♥️
    ▪︎Joromi♥️♥️
    ▪︎Siwo Siwo
    ▪︎Ekassa
    ▪︎Akwete
    ▪︎Arabade (later, 1977)♥️
    Others....
Also Rex Lawson and His Rivers Men work (I thought he was a Ghanaian but he was a Nigerian.)
Some of a few immortalized Nigerian artists.
My music collection started with Igbo, Yoruba, Congolese, Ghana, Conakry Guinean, Kenyan and South African dancing hits.
    Amen

God bless Professor Sir Victor, Uwaifor our living legend. I have been a fan of Sir Victor Uwaifor from my high school days in the seventies. I am still one of his greatest fans. I listen to his music everyday in Pandora,it’s brings me joy and pride in the foreign land.Anyone, who listen to his masterpieces even when he will not understand the language of the lyrics of the music like me still enjoys his music.Sir Victor Uwaifor is a national treasure and a God’s gift to Nigeria.
Long live Professor Sir Victor Uwaifor.

Sir Victor Uwaifo is a living legend. He introduced twin guitar to music and his command of musical instruments - flute, piano, guitar etc is legendary. He must have started music as an Arts student at the Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria back in the 60s. His contemporaries at the time were the late Eddie Okonta, Victor Olaiya, Rex Jim Lawson, Adeolu Akinsanya (Baba Eto) to mention a few. His music was well sought-after by the movers and shakers of Lagos then particularly at Night Clubs. I didn't understand the lyrics but eh, who cares? The rhythm and the melody were enough for me. Long may you live, The Legend!

The only complete artist in Africa and one of the very few in the world. A composer, singer, a multiinstrumentalist, painter, sculptor and inventor. I hope we will really appreciate him before he leaves this side.

Just because radio station in the east played the music of those you referenced now makes them true Biafrans; what kind of logic is that? So if radio OYO plays a music of Oriental Brothers, that makes Warrior an Oduduwa decent abi?. But who is true Biafran and who's not?
