Honestly pretty hilarious to see so many UA-camrs getting their teeth kicked in because they have no idea they're supposed to avoid fighting and use the shadows. I wouldn't say this game's particularly difficult, it just has a couple of bizarre design choices that Manhunt didn't have that might throw you off.
Besides fumbling a few easy takedowns at the beginning and dying a few times in Traversal, I feel like this is a pretty solid run. I also fought Robbie the Rabbit in the secret area because why not.
I was torn between speeding up my footage for the impatient (like myself), and leaving it untouched for the atmosphere of tension the game is meant to evoke. I ultimately compromised, and only sped up segments where I'm standing in the same place for any significant amount of time.

i always wondered what “turn off chainsaw” meant in the controls
Well it's pretty self explanatory isn't it; it turns off the chainsaw's engine so it doesn't make the revving up noises that draws the attention of hunters to you, similar to Manhunt.
@@jdflasky1969 I think he meant it in a more "What Chainsaw?" Type of way, considering you don't encounter any on the main path

i love how the strongest npc in the game has the most predictable speed but yet the most usual crowbars are literally predicts on parries
I'm not sure he actually *is* any stronger than the other NPCs, and it certainly doesn't feel like his chainsaw is particularly more powerful than other weapons either. Though I'll give the credit of survivorship bias here: while trying to film a no-death run of this game, Robbie managed to kill me at least three times and ruin what was going to be a perfect run.

Yeah, for what it's worth, I've had so many perfect runs after this video was posted that were ruined because I got floored in under fifteen seconds by this guy. I honestly don't recommend fighting him at all at this point; just take the healing drinks in the room and leave.

Quick question; how do you know his name is Robbie?
I don't. But it seems to me his design is heavily inspired by the iconic mascot rabbit from Silent Hill 3, so that's what I've taken to calling him. (I suspect the healing consumables are drinks for a similar reason.)

I've no clue where that is, actually, though since I'm hardly any good at combat it'd probably not serve me particularly well anyway. That said, do let me know if you know where it is.
@@jdflasky1969the katana is located at the funeral area on the second checkpoint after you go down you will see the double door open it and go to the left untill you see a room with 2 chairs a light bulb and a red box where the karanasan is located. I hope i explained it well

Once you realize that the hunters are really predictable outside of combat, the game gets a lot less hard and a lot less scary. (For what it's worth, the hunters in Manhunt were just as easily to manipulate, if not more so. At least, until you get to the Cerberus Unit.)
The hunters in this game are really good about pieing corners though, I'll give them that much.
