Nostalgia is hitting me really hard with this song... I was about 6-7 years old when I discovered Gran Turismo, I didn't know there where licenses to do for better payout, so I ended up buying cars doing 1000cr races at a time... purple GTO Twin Turbo, Evo, Blue Subaru... I was used to wear an helmet in front of the tv just to get into the game a bit more. I wish I could have a time machine to go back to this days
I got GT for my 8th birthday in 1998 and that kicked off my love for cars ever since. I remember my parents being blown away by the game's graphics and music.
@@jodyjo_gd3it was the absolute wealth of information about each and every car that set it apart from any other racing game at the time ever! Right down to the suspension geometry!
I remember when the Mitsubishi GTO was the shit. And then one day a friend of mine at school told me about the R32 skyline… my life’s never been the same since. 😂
Caballeros es válido llorar, la hermosa nostalgia de esos años de oro, tengo 40 años y tuve el placer de jugar GRAN TURISMO desde su primer juego y este remix de los chemical brothers es inolvidable así como este juegazo.
I played Gran Turismo when it first came out while in my mid twenties and it still rocks to this day... This is an amazing remix of Manic Street Preachers by The ChemicablBrothers from 1996 and makes the ChemBros 1997 track 'The Private Psychedelic Reel' from the album 'Dig Your Own Hole' even better
Jfc, I went from the SNES and playing Mario kart, but then in the blink of an eye this was out, and I'm 17 years old watching the intro to this, and this song is playing, and my mind nearly melted. What a leap forward it was, truly glorious times.
Nail. Head. I don't think that current generations will ever understand the leap we experienced in that time. I haven't seen a leap like that in 20 years. So to kids today it'd be like getting holograms or something.
@@markisaki979 I agree it's overused, but it hits hard as fuck. I prefer MOTC to all intros except this one. There is something special about this one.

I played GT when I was younger, about, 4 years old. My father and I bonded over it, and my love for cars grew from it. I miss those days.
The best intro in the history of Gt
Only bested by the us intro from gt4
The best intro of videogames history.
@@gus552electricboogaloo4 GT4 is Moon Over The Castle YES OR YES.
Really wish this remix was on Spotify
Well, you can at least have it on your phone. Go to youtube to mp3 on google
I really wish this remix was released in general.
Also featured in the Top Gear episode where Jeremy is blasting through Manhattan in the Mercedes SLS.

Hearing this will always get me goosebumps and wet eyes. What a childhood I had thanks to this.
This song this game put all racing games on notice this game became the king of racing games and still is
Best friend and I played GT 1, 2, 3. We would tag team the licenses and races, and play split screen when going head to head. Best years.
¡I remember many this song when had eight years, this game was one of my firts in the Playstation 1.Decade of 2000!.
With you there pal .
My oldest and I used to listen to it in the car , if we weren't playing it we were listening to it lol .
This whole song is the sounds of the birth of Gran Turismo in the US. That day, all arcade racing games were put to shame forever.
Me acuerdo de este juego siempre qeria comprarme el dodge viper

Never heard this one before
All I hear is the Prodigy's Firestarter.... I think the credit should have gone to them, rather than Chem Bros
this music could be the gt movie intro music!
Does anyone own this vinyl?

While I agree that MOTC is overused, I don't think you know what based means.
