Another roll to note on hunter which results in just a better form of void hunter is Galanor plus Gyrfalcon. Quite literally combines gyrfalcons with orpheus rigs as the galanor acts as a bootleg orpheus effect its great.
The specifics on the rolls discussed on screen would help a TON.(like the exotic descriptions) I know what many of the exotics do based on name, but not all so I’m just left with partial info unless I go look them up. 👍🏻

If you’re a warlock, you need to try osmiomancy on the class item with a vortex nade. You get energy back “on hit” and vortex nade hits multiple time so if you throw a vortex at someone, you’ll get like 30-50% energy back and you have devour too
filaments would be good, but its glitched and doesnt work if you have 4 buffs active on the left side of your screen. please bungie fix this its been an issue since the exotic was released!!!!
Definitely going for going for HOIL + cyrtarachne on hunter. Been using a build that uses grapple to proc unraveling/volatile rounds on The Call/burried bloodline and it's really good. The melee build was fun for a while but at this point it's gotten boring with the gameplay loop being unchanged for years
Apotheosis + Harmony also feels good. You get fast supers and after using it, you get that melee and grenade regen. So constant super and ability spam. Osmio works like Contraverse Hold, if you get enough hits with the grenade you can easily get 50%+ back, and it could be good paired with Starfire or Verity for grenade builds.
Why would you suggest to pair secant and verity with bleakwatcher? Verity doesnt increase regen, just damage. Bleakwatchers damage is already negligible and it only used for slow, freeze and shatter. A better pick would be starfire to decrease bleakwatcher cooldown
You can get galanor/star eater on hunter. So jack up your super with orbs then get super energy back with galanor, up to 50 percent. Works great with hunter stasis, teather(mostly just the super back), and silkstrike. I got a cloak with galanor/gyrfalcons, its basically just having rigs and gyrfalcons its pretty sick.
I got khepri's/abeyant. It's absolute dogshit ass garbage trash tier, khepri has got to be the worst exotic in the entire game (on the class item). Been sitting in this legendary lost sector for 2 hours trying to make it work. 90% of the time either the first wave or the second wave or both miss the target, 8% of the time they both hit and NOTHING happens but a petty amount of scorch damage. 2% of the fucking time both waves hit and an ignite goes off. The majority of the time enemies just juke the khepri wave OR the wave dissipates instead of coming back and applying a second set of scorch stacka for the ignite. Stay away from this garbage.
Farming chests is definitely not better than just running the mission, ran around opening chests for hours last night and only got 1 to drop, running the mission only takes like half an hour and you’re guaranteed to get one that way. Though you can get super lucky and get frequent drops from random chests but I feel that’s unlikely for most people
im so upset that those only works with prismatic... I dont really like the subclass and now the most broken/fun exotic is gatekeeped by this subclass is kinda eh..
Syntho, Necrotic on lightning surge is good paired with Facet of bravery I believe to proc devour on melee and then using a dark element primary to keep feeding the cooldown with facet of balance, I got it as my third one its very very fun, not sure how well it'd do in higher difficulty content though
I've been using a similar build on felwinters but it feels a bit too weak for endgame, I think synthos and necrotic will 100% make it viable since it addresses the two big problems which are damage and range fall off
Sure, Prismatic Combination Blow + Liar's is okay (it's really just okay), but Gyrfalcon's is right there. It seems as though everything's set up to let Word of Crota be the best weapon in the game when in the hands of a Prismatic Hunter (having a more lethal melee lets you trigger the Cursed Thrall perk more easily. My favourite to use is Threaded Spike). That's just miles better than having an exotic armour piece be designed around a non-chaining powered melee, IMO. Combination Blow does not chain lighting on Prismatic Hunter like it does for Arcstrider. You have to run up and punch every thrall, every dreg, individually, so unless you're a psycho who likes pressing your melee button twelve million times, I would turn your attention to a chaining melee and advise not really building around melee with Prismatic Hunter. The whole Liar's thing is just "it looks good on paper" hype because it makes for an enticing UA-cam thumbnail.
Tbh the melee hunter playstyle falls off in GMs and such. You are going to die in those activities if you try to go melee. I think something like Galanor/Foetracer, or Galanor/Verity or even Galanor/Gyrfalcon would be way better combos. Pair those with the stasis super and you have infinite supers + infinite abilities/damage boost/volatile rounds. Caliban also seems to be bugged.
These class items are disappointing in use. On paper these sounded really cool but then the reveal of only 8 perks in each slot and they cant be changed limited the possibilities down to 64 pairs. Now in use there are really only around 16 usable pairs that justify use over the original exotic the perk came from. Also the Titan mark is easily the weakest of the 3 class items IMO.
As a Titan main I am praying for a Syntho HoIL combo. The near infinite Consecration with HoIL with the damage buff from Syntho would be enough for me. I have been maining HoIL with Prismatic so far and it is devastating with 3 melee charge Consecration.
I have had bad luck with rolls. I’ve only had 3 drop so far but 2 of them have been the exact same - Stag/Claw. And one was Stag/Vesper. Useless trash.
Is it just me or does the Titan rolls all seem kinda mid? I've gotten a few rolls now and they all feel like they don't do enough to justify an exotic slot. So far the only one I can see running is the HOIL/Scales.

liar's caliban is better than synthos, liar's heals and is a 200% melee increase where as synthoceps is only 165% i guess get synthos specifically for the 50% increase to super damage tho
I disagree with synthos on hunter. Ideally, caliban's will make it so there's nothing left to be surrounded by. I got caliban and lairs and the damage is phenominal and doesn't depend on bbeing surrounded

assassin is such a waste of a perk on the titan one, everything usually dies from a single melee unless its a boss, in which youre not meleeing a boss usually, if everything is dead you dont need to be invisible, id argue inmost light is better slotted that assassin due to shorter cooldowns for everything

Makes no sense replacing Liars with Syntho, at x3 combination with liars you do 180k with syntho while serounded 43k. Take assasin & liars, frees up space to remove Stylish, add Threaded specter now have unlimited Decoys and threadlings + 1 more fragment, witch can be the one that gives you health regen on melee kill. Or Caliban & liars Synthos are a no go.

not sure what you mean, since necrotic grips doesn't do that anyway. spirit of necrotics still triggers the poison burst on kill with weapons like thorn, but the total damage of the poison debuff is about half of what it is on normal necrotics since the damage doesn't ramp up over time.
I’ve gotten syntho and assassin and enjoy it a lot on my Titan and also got the severance and point contact which is actually really good especially with consecration because the half swim up counts as a powered melee and the full effect happens
Can confirm the pale heart farm for the class items, has be INSANE for me. I've gotten 3 in an hour earlier, I've gotten 3 in 90 minutes yesterday, like it's insane. I'll never do Duel Destiny ever again. Anyone that says the pale heart farm doesn't work has either extremely bad RNG or they haven't unlocked the class item on that specific character.
Uhhh trust me when I say Calibans + Synthoseps is not the play. If you wanna roll with Synthos I'd get a different perk on the left column like Assassin or Renewal. Now if you wanna use Calibans, use it with Liars. The damage of liars never goes away from the explosions which can easily happen to Synthos (you know, cause the ads are dead and you're not surrounded anymore).

Spirit of cirtarachne is goated. Any grenade gives you woven mail. Any... Duskfield grenade with spirit of renewal (rolls left and cirt rolls right) if you want to make punchy hunter even more tanky lol.. Even counts gunpowder gamble. Prismatic grenade too. Spirit of cirtarachne is just bonkers now.
Synto and necro is pretty nuts I’m looking for Star eater and necro I think it’s the best of both worlds add clear and dps over time plus more burst fire dps
The warlock one i want is filaments plus starfire. Devour plus starfires grenade regen on damage and kills should let yiy supercharge your grenade spam even more sore then feed the void
Necrotic Grip+Synthos for Warlock could make Lightning Surge into a pack of guardians in PVP back to original wiping capabilities. It already does a ton of work with Necrotics alone, but Synthos might be extra spice.
For anyone confused on farming or want to know how to farm- You can farm it by opening any chest in the Pale Heart, (although I don't know if lost sector chests work) Also, you can only farm Pale Heart chests to get the exotic if you have completed the mission at least once, and it goes for each individual character. So to be able to farm each class item for each of your characters, you will have to at least run it once on that character. I've been farming it on my warlock and have gotten 16 of them by using a sniper and wombo detector and just going around and getting chests while also occasionally completing overthrow objectives because those chests also have a chance of dropping it. I would also recommend doing it in the area that is the daily overthrow, as you can also be farming Ergo Sum at the same time if you want. I've gotten one on average at least every 30 minutes. So, imo there really isn't that much of a difference on farming chests or completing the mission.
I just got my first one and it sounds good. Warlock: Hoil + Star Eaters Star Eaters on the new warlock ult sounds like insane damage. For Hoil i think ill spam rifts for mortars and arc melee slides. I haven't tested but I assume Hoil works while transcendent so that sounds like even more fun! Ill build with it in the morning! if anyone sees this that wants to know more about this combo ill try to let you know! Also any ideas/suggestions will be appreciated
Syntho/necrotic, lighting surge slide but with needle melee for the charges could be good. If only felwinter's helm was rollable too. Weaken and suppress and jolt, and poison everything

me personally i think liars an Caliban's would be better dont have to worry about being surrounded.
But you're locked with combination blow and need to double hit, while synto activate faster and work with every melee.

Melee with Hunters in High Level Content is not a good idea. I would try to get Foetracer/Coyote or Galanor/Star-Eater or HOIL/Coyote.

Best drop iv seen in gameplay is abeyant/syntho. Pop barricade and then consecration everything and have that insane damage, it was really cool to see

Makes no sense replacing Liars with Syntho, at x3 combination with liars you do 180k with syntho while serounded 43k.
Take assasin & liars, frees up space to remove Stylish, add Threaded specter now have unlimited Decoys and threadlings + 1 more fragment, witch can be the one that gives you health regen on melee kill.
Or Caliban & liars
Synthos are a no go.
I’ve been saying this. Liars with either Caliban, or assassin is just too good with how much you get in return with so little draw back.

not sure what you mean, since necrotic grips doesn't do that anyway.
spirit of necrotics still triggers the poison burst on kill with weapons like thorn, but the total damage of the poison debuff is about half of what it is on normal necrotics since the damage doesn't ramp up over time.

If a hunter gets Nighthawk/ SES they will be doing a stupid amount of damage.
I get them to drop for my hunter like clock work from chests, but my warlock I cannot get them to drop from chests
Prismatic Hunter is honestly not that good...if you wanna Melee play Titan...Not Hunter.

I’ve gotten syntho and assassin and enjoy it a lot on my Titan and also got the severance and point contact which is actually really good especially with consecration because the half swim up counts as a powered melee and the full effect happens

Can confirm the pale heart farm for the class items, has be INSANE for me. I've gotten 3 in an hour earlier, I've gotten 3 in 90 minutes yesterday, like it's insane. I'll never do Duel Destiny ever again. Anyone that says the pale heart farm doesn't work has either extremely bad RNG or they haven't unlocked the class item on that specific character.
I have foetracer/stareater. Holy cow the dmg is insane. I also have caliban/liar.
Uhhh trust me when I say Calibans + Synthoseps is not the play. If you wanna roll with Synthos I'd get a different perk on the left column like Assassin or Renewal. Now if you wanna use Calibans, use it with Liars. The damage of liars never goes away from the explosions which can easily happen to Synthos (you know, cause the ads are dead and you're not surrounded anymore).

Spirit of cirtarachne is goated. Any grenade gives you woven mail. Any... Duskfield grenade with spirit of renewal (rolls left and cirt rolls right) if you want to make punchy hunter even more tanky lol.. Even counts gunpowder gamble. Prismatic grenade too. Spirit of cirtarachne is just bonkers now.

Got assassin's & synthoceps on a bond. Essentially unkillable with slide melee build
Synto and necro is pretty nuts I’m looking for Star eater and necro I think it’s the best of both worlds add clear and dps over time plus more burst fire dps
What set up do you use for necro/ syntho? I’m running nechrocam/ glaive because the melee is buffed by syntho i assume?
The warlock one i want is filaments plus starfire. Devour plus starfires grenade regen on damage and kills should let yiy supercharge your grenade spam even more sore then feed the void
Necrotic Grip+Synthos for Warlock could make Lightning Surge into a pack of guardians in PVP back to original wiping capabilities. It already does a ton of work with Necrotics alone, but Synthos might be extra spice.
I think titans class items are the worst, spirit of ophidian should not be in the mix.
For anyone confused on farming or want to know how to farm-
You can farm it by opening any chest in the Pale Heart, (although I don't know if lost sector chests work) Also, you can only farm Pale Heart chests to get the exotic if you have completed the mission at least once, and it goes for each individual character. So to be able to farm each class item for each of your characters, you will have to at least run it once on that character. I've been farming it on my warlock and have gotten 16 of them by using a sniper and wombo detector and just going around and getting chests while also occasionally completing overthrow objectives because those chests also have a chance of dropping it. I would also recommend doing it in the area that is the daily overthrow, as you can also be farming Ergo Sum at the same time if you want. I've gotten one on average at least every 30 minutes. So, imo there really isn't that much of a difference on farming chests or completing the mission.

Warlock: Hoil + Star Eaters
Star Eaters on the new warlock ult sounds like insane damage.
For Hoil i think ill spam rifts for mortars and arc melee slides. I haven't tested but I assume Hoil works while transcendent so that sounds like even more fun!

Syntho/necrotic, lighting surge slide but with needle melee for the charges could be good. If only felwinter's helm was rollable too. Weaken and suppress and jolt, and poison everything

@@primalameoba3896 I might have to try that. Pairing it with thorn has to be pretty good too no? But I'm also thinking to take advantage of syntho you need to be near enemies anyways
